## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Djinni Jobs Scraper (Джин вакансії) — Ukraine & Remote Europe IT Jobs

Extract tech job postings from **[Djinni](https://djinni.co)** (Джин), the largest IT job board in **Ukraine**, with thousands of remote jobs for developers across **Europe** and worldwide. Get clean, structured JSON with the full job description, salary (USD), company, experience, English level, remote/office format, and public views and applications counts.

### What you get

For every job posting:

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| `title` | Senior Python Backend Engineer |
| `companyName`, `companyWebsite`, `companyLogoUrl`, `companyType` | Verbit, http://verbit.ai/, Product |
| `category`, `domain`, `tags` | Python, LegalTech |
| `remoteType`, `isRemote`, `isPartTime`, `employmentType` | Full Remote / Hybrid Remote / Office Work, FULL_TIME |
| `location`, `applicantLocations` | Countries of Europe or Ukraine, Ukraine (Kyiv), Worldwide |
| `experience`, `experienceYears` | 7 years of experience, 7 |
| `englishLevel` | B2 |
| `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryCurrency`, `salaryPeriod`, `salaryText` | 6500, 7000, USD, MONTH (when public) |
| `salaryLevel` | 1–4 (Djinni's $ to $$$$ level when the salary is hidden) |
| `description`, `descriptionHtml` | full job description |
| `views`, `applications` | 200, 43 (as shown on the list: last 30 days for older posts) |
| `confirmedHires`, `activelyHiring`, `responseRate` | true, true, Responds to 93% of messages within 3 days |
| `postedAt`, `updatedAt`, `validThrough` | 2026-10-16T17:12:07 (Kyiv time) |
| `id`, `url`, `directApply`, `scrapedAt` | |

With **`includeDetails`** on, each job page adds: `viewsTotal`, `applicationsTotal` (all time), `requiredLanguages` (e.g. English B2, Ukrainian Native), `skills` with years (e.g. Java: 5 years, Spring Boot: 3 years), `publishedAt` (first published date), `lastRespondedAt`, `experienceConsidered`, `companySlug`, `companyJobsUrl` and `similarJobsSalaryMin/Max` (Djinni's average salary range of similar jobs).

### Use cases

- **Recruiters & HR tech**: track who is hiring Ukrainian and Eastern European developers, for which stacks and seniority.
- **Salary research**: public USD salary ranges by category, experience and English level (зарплати в IT).
- **Market analytics**: demand per technology (Python, Java, React, Go, .NET, DevOps, QA, Data/ML), remote vs office, product vs outsource companies, competition via views and applications.
- **Sales lead generation**: product companies and outsourcing agencies that are actively hiring.
- **Job aggregators & AI job agents**: feed fresh remote tech jobs (віддалена робота, вакансії) into your own product.

### How to use

1. **Paste a search URL** — set your filters on djinni.co/jobs, copy the URL into `searchUrl`, e.g. `https://djinni.co/jobs/?primary_keyword=Python&exp_level=3y&employment=remote`.
2. **Or use the filters** — `primaryKeywords` (categories such as `Python`, `Java`, `JavaScript`, `React.js`, `Node.js`, `.NET`, `Golang`, `DevOps`, `QA`), `keywords` (with title-only or full-text search), `experienceLevels`, `employment` (remote / part-time / office), `regions` (Worldwide, Ukraine, EU), `ukraineCities` (Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv…), `countries` (ISO codes like `POL`, `DEU`), `englishLevels`, `companyTypes`, `domains`, `minSalary` (USD/month) and `publicSalaryOnly`.
3. Set `maxItems` and run. Export as JSON, CSV, Excel, or use the API.

The full description is already on the list pages, so the default run (no details) is fast and cheap. Turn on `includeDetails` for all-time stats, skills and required languages.

#### Example input

```json
{
  "primaryKeywords": ["Python", "Golang"],
  "employment": ["remote"],
  "experienceLevels": ["3y", "4y", "5y"],
  "englishLevels": ["upper"],
  "maxItems": 200,
  "includeDetails": true
}
```

### Pricing

**$3 per 1,000 jobs** ($0.003 per job saved to the dataset), plus a tiny $0.00005 start fee per run. Platform usage (compute, proxy, storage) is included, so there are no surprise costs, and failed requests or empty searches cost only the start fee. Examples: 100 jobs cost $0.30, 10,000 jobs cost $30. The Apify free plan's $5 monthly credit covers about 1,600 jobs.

### Tips

- Run it on a schedule (daily) and compare `id`s to get only **new** postings. Djinni bumps `postedAt` when a job is updated; `publishedAt` (details) is the original date.
- Many employers hide the salary. Then `salaryMin`/`salaryMax` are null and `salaryLevel` shows how it compares to similar jobs ($ below average … $$$$ top range).
- Djinni hides jobs whose recruiter has been inactive; turn on `includeStale` to include them.
- Use the Apify API or integrations (Google Sheets, Slack, Make, Zapier, n8n) to send new jobs anywhere.

### Notes

This actor reads publicly available job postings only, as an anonymous visitor. It does not log in, and it does not collect personal data: no candidate profiles, and no recruiter names, emails or phone numbers. Please use the data in line with applicable laws (including GDPR) and Djinni's terms.

Questions or a field you need? Open an issue on the actor page — fixes usually ship within a day.
