## Pricing

Pay per event

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### What does Amazon Product & Search Scraper do?

**Amazon Product & Search Scraper** extracts **search results** and **product details** from [Amazon](https://www.amazon.com) on **11 marketplaces**: amazon.com, .co.uk, .de, .fr, .es, .it, .ca, .com.br, .com.mx, .in and .co.jp. Give it keywords, product URLs or ASINs and get clean JSON: price, list price, currency, rating, number of ratings, Prime, sponsored flag, badges (Best Seller, Amazon's Choice...), brand, seller, availability, variants, Best Sellers Rank, rating histogram, bullet points and the specification table.

- ✅ **Search results** with pagination (up to 400 results per query), position and sponsored flag
- ✅ **Product pages** from `/dp/` or `/gp/product/` URLs or bare ASINs, on any supported marketplace
- ✅ **Local prices**: each request uses a delivery address in the marketplace's own country (its capital), so you get the price, availability and seller that a local shopper sees, not export prices
- ✅ **Flat pay-per-result pricing**: no start fee, no extra charge for offers, sellers or retries. Failed queries and products are never charged
- ❌ No review texts or reviewer names, no seller contact details, no pages behind login

### Why use Amazon Product & Search Scraper?

- **Price monitoring:** track prices and list prices of your products and competitors every day, on several marketplaces.
- **Market research:** see who ranks for a keyword, which listings are sponsored, and which products carry Best Seller or Amazon's Choice badges.
- **Catalog enrichment:** fill in brand, images, bullet points, specifications and variants from an ASIN list.
- **Seller intelligence:** check the buy-box seller, FBA, stock status and Best Sellers Rank.

It runs on the Apify platform, so you get an **API**, scheduling, webhooks, integrations (Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets...) and proxies built in. Amazon's bot checks (interstitial challenges, "continue shopping" pages, JavaScript challenges) are handled automatically, and every request is retried with fresh sessions and, when needed, residential IPs.

### How to scrape Amazon

1. Click **Try for free** and open the **Input** tab.
2. Enter **Search queries** (one per line) and/or **Product URLs or ASINs**.
3. Pick the **Marketplace** for your searches and bare ASINs. Product URLs always use their own domain, so you can mix marketplaces in one run.
4. Set **Max results per query** (default 48) and turn on **Include product details** if you want the full product page for each search result.
5. Click **Start** and download the results as JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML, or read them through the API.

### How much does it cost to scrape Amazon?

This Actor uses **pay-per-event** pricing. There is **no start fee**.

| Event | Price | When |
|---|---|---|
| `search-result` | **US$ 0.002** | Per search result returned |
| `product-detail` | **US$ 0.004** | Per product page returned (product URLs, or search results with `includeProductDetails`) |

Examples: 1,000 search results cost **US$ 2**. 1,000 product pages cost **US$ 4**. 1,000 search results with product details cost **US$ 6** (US$ 0.002 + US$ 0.004 each).

You are **not charged** for queries without results, products that don't exist (404) or anything that failed after retries: those come back as error items. Platform usage (compute, proxy) is included. You can cap the spend of a run with the **Maximum cost per run** setting; the Actor stops cleanly when it is reached and marks what is left as `not_processed`.

```
Error codes: `not_found`, `no_results`, `blocked` (Amazon kept blocking after retries), `parse_failed`, `invalid_input`, `not_processed` (cost cap reached). The run only fails when **every** query and product failed.
### Tips and limits
- **Language and currency:** texts come in the marketplace's language (amazon.de in German, amazon.co.jp in Japanese) and prices in its currency.
- **Delivery location:** prices and availability are for the capital of the marketplace's country. Custom ZIP / postcode is not supported yet.
- **Search result counts:** Amazon shows 16 to 60 cards per page depending on the category; the Actor follows pages until `maxResultsPerQuery` or Amazon's last page (usually 7 to 20 pages).
- **reviewCount on search pages** is sometimes rounded by Amazon (for example "5.1K" → 5100). Product pages give the exact number.
- **Prime and sponsored flags** reflect what Amazon shows to a logged-out visitor, which is less than what a Prime member sees.
- **amazon.co.uk and amazon.fr** protect their pages with a JavaScript challenge; the Actor passes it with a real browser once per session, so the first request there takes a few seconds longer.
- No review texts, reviewer names or seller contact details are returned.
### Is it legal to scrape Amazon?
This Actor only extracts publicly available product and listing data that anyone can see without logging in. It does not collect personal data such as reviewer names. You should make sure your use of the data complies with Amazon's terms and with applicable laws in your jurisdiction. If in doubt, consult a lawyer.
### FAQ
**Can I scrape several marketplaces in one run?** Yes, with product URLs: each URL uses its own domain. Search queries use the one marketplace you pick; start one run per marketplace for multi-country searches.
**Why is a product missing its price?** Some listings have no buy box (only offers from other sellers, or currently unavailable). `price` is `null` and `availability` explains why.
**Can I get reviews?** Not in this version: only the rating, the number of ratings and the star histogram.
# Actor input Schema
## `searchQueries` (type: `array`):
Keywords to search on the chosen marketplace, one per line. Each query returns up to "Max results per query" products, following Amazon's pagination.
## `productUrls` (type: `array`):
Amazon product URLs (/dp/, /gp/product/) from any supported marketplace, or bare 10-character ASINs (looked up on the marketplace below). Each returns one full product-detail item.
## `marketplace` (type: `string`):
Amazon site used for search queries and bare ASINs. Product URLs always use their own domain.
## `maxResultsPerQuery` (type: `integer`):
Maximum number of search results per query (Amazon shows 16 to 60 per page; the Actor follows the pages).
## `includeProductDetails` (type: `boolean`):
Also open each search result's product page and add the full detail fields (brand, seller, bullet points, images, variants, Best Sellers Rank, specs...). Charged as a separate product-detail event per product.
## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):
How many Amazon pages to load in parallel.
## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):
Apify Proxy is used by default: datacenter first, residential automatically for requests Amazon keeps blocking. Pick explicit groups to force them.
