## Pricing

from $0.56 / 1,000 videos

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

Scrape **YouTube channels**: **every video, Short and live stream** with title, URL, views, duration and upload date, plus **channel info**: subscribers, total views, video count, joined date, country, external links, description and keywords. Sort by **latest, popular or oldest**, filter by date, and optionally load **exact likes, comment counts, publish dates, descriptions and hashtags** for each video.

- **$0.70 per 1,000 videos** (exact details +$0.50 per 1,000). Channel info rows are free.
- Input: `@handle`, `https://www.youtube.com/@name`, `/channel/UC...`, `/c/name`, `/user/name` or a channel ID.
- **Whole channels**: all pages of the Videos, Shorts and Live tabs.
- **No API key or quota**, no browser, 256 MB, fast (about 30 videos per request).
- Unknown or terminated channels produce free status rows; the run never fails because of one bad input.

### Use cases

- **Influencer discovery and vetting**: subscribers, upload frequency, views per video, top videos.
- **Competitor tracking**: schedule with `onlyVideosNewerThan` to get every new upload.
- **Content strategy / SEO**: which titles, lengths and topics get the most views (sort by popular).
- **Analytics dashboards and AI**: complete video lists with stats for Sheets, BI tools or LLMs.

### Input

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `channels` | Handles, channel URLs or IDs |
| `contentTypes` | `videos`, `shorts`, `streams` |
| `maxVideosPerChannel` | Per tab, default 50, 0 = all |
| `sortBy` | `latest`, `popular`, `oldest` |
| `onlyVideosNewerThan` | Date filter |
| `videoDetails` | Exact publish date, views, likes, comments, description, hashtags |
| `includeChannelInfo` | Free channel row |

> Keywords, category and exact duration come from YouTube's player data, which YouTube sometimes withholds. When that happens those fields are `null`; publish date, views, likes, comment count, description, hashtags and channel subscribers still come from the watch page (`detailsSource: "watch-page"`).

```json
{
  "channels": ["@MrBeast", "https://www.youtube.com/@Apify"],
  "contentTypes": ["videos", "shorts"],
  "maxVideosPerChannel": 100,
  "sortBy": "latest",
  "videoDetails": true
}
```

### Output

Video row (with `videoDetails` on):

```json
{
  "type": "video",
  "videoId": "0e3GPea1Tyg",
  "title": "$456,000 Squid Game In Real Life!",
  "url": "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0e3GPea1Tyg",
  "contentType": "videos",
  "channelName": "MrBeast",
  "channelId": "UCX6OQ3DkcsbYNE6H8uQQuVA",
  "viewCount": 976262034,
  "likeCount": 20000000,
  "commentCount": 660000,
  "publishedAt": "2021-11-24T13:00:01-08:00",
  "durationSec": 1541,
  "category": "Entertainment",
  "keywords": [],
  "thumbnailUrl": "https://i.ytimg.com/vi/0e3GPea1Tyg/maxresdefault.jpg"
}
```

Channel row:

```json
{
  "type": "channel",
  "channelId": "UCX6OQ3DkcsbYNE6H8uQQuVA",
  "title": "MrBeast",
  "handle": "@MrBeast",
  "subscriberCount": 522000000,
  "videoCount": 1000,
  "viewCount": 143605351979,
  "joinedDate": "2012-02-19",
  "country": "United States",
  "links": [{ "title": "Instagram", "url": "https://instagram.com/mrbeast" }]
}
```

Without `videoDetails`, views and dates come from the channel grid: views are rounded ("110M") and dates relative ("3 days ago", also converted to `publishedAtApprox`).

Not affiliated with YouTube or Google.

### Pricing

Pay per event: **$0.0007 per video** ($0.70 per 1,000). Exact likes, comments and publish dates (`videoDetails`) add **$0.0005 per video**. Channel info rows are free. Set a maximum cost per run and the Actor stops there.

### FAQ

**Do I need a YouTube API key?** No. Input can be `@handle`, a channel URL or a channel ID. The Actor is not affiliated with YouTube or Google.

**Can I get only new uploads?** Set `onlyVideosNewerThan` and schedule the run. Older videos are skipped.

**What does the first run return?** The saved example reads `@MrBeast` videos and returns real public video rows plus a channel info row.
