## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Poland Sejm Bills Tracker

Follow bills in the Polish parliament without checking the Sejm website by hand. Give it a few keywords and get back every matching bill with its status, each stage so far, and vote totals, most recently changed first.

Useful for public affairs teams, trade associations, law firms and compliance teams who need to know when a bill in their field moves.

Polish search terms: projekty ustaw, proces legislacyjny, druki sejmowe, głosowania, monitoring legislacji.

### What you get

Each result is one bill:

| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `number`, `title` | Sejm process number and bill title, in Polish |
| `status` | `in_progress`, `passed` or `closed_not_passed` |
| `latestStage`, `latestStageDate` | Where the bill is now |
| `stages` | Every stage, including committee referrals and readings |
| `votes`, `lastVote` | Yes, no, abstain and absent totals, with a link to the official PDF |
| `changedAt` | When the Sejm last updated the record |
| `url` | The bill's page on sejm.gov.pl |

### Track changes on a schedule

Set **Changed since** to the date of your last run, or schedule this Actor weekly, to see only the bills that moved.

### Input example

```json
{
  "keywords": ["podatk", "energi"],
  "changedSince": "2026-10-01",
  "status": "in_progress",
  "maxBills": 50
}
```

Keywords match part of a word and ignore Polish letters, so `podatk` finds `podatku` and `podatkowa`.

### Pricing

You pay per bill returned. Set **Maximum bills** to control the cost of a run.

### Data source and limits

Data comes from the official public API at api.sejm.gov.pl. This Actor is independent and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by the Sejm. Sejm records can change or arrive late, so check the official page before relying on a result. This isn't legal advice.

Keywords search bill titles only, not the full text. Titles and stage names are in Polish.

Built with Claude, an AI, and tested against the live API.
