## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## 2dehands.be & 2ememain.be Scraper

Extract listings from Belgium's #1 marketplace — both the Dutch-language **2dehands.be** and the French-language **2ememain.be**. Titles, prices, locations, sellers, attributes, and images.

### What does 2dehands & 2ememain Scraper do?

Scrape classified listings from both Belgian Adevinta marketplaces in a single run. Search by keyword or paste any category URL with your filters already applied. Get structured data ready for market analysis, price tracking, and lead generation.

Uses the internal `/lrp/api/search` JSON endpoint directly — no browser, no rendering, no anti-bot bypass required.

### Who is it for?

- **Resellers** finding underpriced inventory in Belgium
- **Car dealers** tracking Belgian used-car pricing
- **Market researchers** analyzing Belgian classifieds trends
- **Arbitrage hunters** spotting price gaps between Belgium and neighbors
- **Data analysts** building Belgian market datasets

### Pricing

**$0.0012 per result** ($1.20 per 1,000 listings). No subscription.

| Results | Cost |
|---|---|
| 100 | $0.12 |
| 1,000 | $1.20 |
| 10,000 | $12.00 |

### How to use it

1. Enter one or more **Search Queries** (e.g., "iphone", "racefiets").
2. Or paste any 2dehands.be or 2ememain.be search or category URL into **Start URLs**.
3. Optionally filter by **Min Price** and **Max Price**.
4. Set **Max Items** (default 100).
5. Click **Start**.

### Supported URL patterns

| Type | URL example |
|---|---|
| 2dehands keyword | `https://www.2dehands.be/q/iphone/` |
| 2dehands category | `https://www.2dehands.be/l/auto-s/bmw/` |
| 2ememain keyword | `https://www.2ememain.be/q/iphone/` |
| 2ememain category | `https://www.2ememain.be/l/auto-s/bmw/` |

Both domains share the same backend — this Actor automatically routes API calls to the correct domain based on the URL you provide.

### Technical details

- Uses the internal `/lrp/api/search` **JSON endpoint** directly — no browser
- Chrome-realistic headers via `got-scraping` TLS impersonation
- **Belgian residential proxies** pre-configured
- Handles both 2dehands.be and 2ememain.be in a single run
- Automatic pagination up to the 5,000-result cap per query
- Rate-limited with 1.2–2.4s delays between pages

### Known limits

- **The platform caps any single query at ~5,000 results.** Split queries by postcode, category, or price band for larger datasets.
- **Rate limiting at high volume.** Belgian residential proxies are required for production-scale crawls.

### FAQ

**Do I need to configure proxies?** No. Belgian residential proxies are pre-configured.

**Can I scrape both 2dehands.be and 2ememain.be in one run?** Yes — add URLs from both domains and the Actor routes them correctly.

**Can I scrape any category?** Yes — paste any category or search URL with filters applied.

**How do I export data?** After a run, go to Storage → Export as JSON, CSV, Excel, or XML.
