## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## 4zida.rs Scraper

Extract real estate listings from 4zida.rs — Serbia's largest property portal with 74,000+ active listings.

### What does 4zida.rs Scraper do?

Scrape property listings across every 4zida category in a single run:

- **Prodaja stanova** — apartments for sale
- **Izdavanje stanova** — apartments for rent
- **Prodaja kuća** — houses for sale
- **Prodaja poslovnih prostora** — commercial space
- **Prodaja zemljišta** — land
- **Garaže i parking mesta** — garages and parking

Pass a category URL (e.g. `/prodaja-stanova/beograd`) or a keyword, and get structured listing data: title, price, area, rooms, location, coordinates, images, and direct URL. Automatic pagination.

4zida uses Next.js server-side rendering. Listing data is embedded in the initial HTML payload (`__NEXT_DATA__` or RSC chunks), so no browser is required.

### Output fields

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| listingId | 4zida listing ID (MongoDB ObjectId) |
| title | Listing headline |

| currency | EUR or RSD |
| priceRaw | Original price text as displayed |
| description | Listing description snippet |
| location | City / neighbourhood as displayed |
| municipality | Municipality |
| neighborhood | Neighbourhood |

### Who is it for?

- **Real estate agencies** tracking competing listings across Serbia
- **Property investors** monitoring pricing and inventory
- **Market researchers** building Serbian property datasets
- **Valuation models** sourcing comparable sales data
- **Lead generators** building seller databases by city and property type

### Pricing

**$1.20 per 1,000 results.** No subscription.

| Results | Cost |
|---|---|
| 100 | $0.12 |
| 1,000 | $1.20 |
| 10,000 | $12.00 |

### How to use it

1. Paste one or more **4zida URLs** (search or category pages), or
2. Enter **Search Queries** — each becomes `/prodaja-stanova/{query}`.
3. Set **Max Items** (default 200) and **Max Pages per URL** (default 10).
4. Click **Start**.

```
### Technical details
- Built with **Cheerio + got-scraping** (HTTP-only, no browser) — fast and cheap
- 4zida uses Next.js SSR; listing data is parsed from `__NEXT_DATA__`, RSC streaming chunks, or HTML listing cards (in that order)
- Cloudflare is present but **passive on 4zida** — residential proxy is pre-configured but often unnecessary
- Pagination via `?page=N` query parameter
- Three-layer extraction with automatic fallback and diagnostic logging
### Known limits
- **Pagination param** (`?page=N`) is the most likely candidate; if page 2 returns the same listings, the run log will show it and the actor will stop.
- **Detail pages not scraped** — listing cards only. Full descriptions and agency contact info are on the roadmap.
- **Diagnostic dump** — if a run returns 0 listings, the log prints `__NEXT_DATA__` presence, RSC chunk count, top CSS classes, and sample listing hrefs so selectors can be adjusted.
- **Serbian-language site** — use Serbian city names for best results (`beograd`, `novi-sad`, not `Belgrade`).
### FAQ
**Do I need a proxy?** No — 4zida works from datacenter IPs. Residential proxy is pre-configured as a fallback.
**How is this different from the Halooglasi scraper?** 4zida is a direct property portal with richer structured data (GPS, floor, area). Halooglasi covers broader classifieds categories. Both are Serbia-focused and complementary.
**Does this include rental listings?** Yes — pass `/izdavanje-stanova/{location}` URLs or check the transaction type in results.
**How do I export data?** After a run, go to Storage → Export as JSON, CSV, Excel.
# Actor input Schema
## `startUrls` (type: `array`):
Paste any 4zida search URL (e.g. https://www.4zida.rs/prodaja-stanova/beograd).
## `searchQueries` (type: `array`):
Location or keyword searches. Each is turned into /prodaja-stanova/{query}. Serbian terms return the most results.
