## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Amazon Products Scraper — Search Results & Product Details

Compare Amazon products, track public offers and research competing listings.
Search by keyword or provide amazon.com product links and ASINs to collect
product names, prices, currencies, ratings, review counts, images and sponsored
labels in a spreadsheet-ready table.

Add product details on amazon.com for seller, brand, availability, images,
categories and best sellers rank, with an optional review-star breakdown.

### What you can scrape

| Input | Amazon sites | Row contents |
|---|---|---|
| Keywords | Accepts amazon.com, .co.uk, .de, .fr, .it, .es, .ca; availability varies by marketplace | Search results with position and page |
| Keywords + product details | amazon.com | Search results plus available product details |
| Product links / ASINs | amazon.com | Available product details |

Product links and ASIN lookups are supported on amazon.com. For other
marketplaces, use keyword searches. The run report identifies unsupported links
and unavailable results.

### Input

```json
{
  "keywords": ["air fryer"],
  "productUrls": ["https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09LD1T57H", "B0BDHWDR12"],
  "marketplace": "amazon.com",
  "maxItems": 100,
  "includeDetails": false,
  "includeReviewsSummary": false
}
```

- **maxItems** limits the total products returned for the whole run (1-5,000; default 20).
- The same product appearing twice (two keywords, or a keyword and a link) is
  delivered once.

### Output example

Example product result with additional details:

```json
{
  "title": "Acer 10 Gbps USB C Hub, USBC Splitter with 4*USB C 3.2 and 100W PD Port",
  },
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-23T02:55:53Z"
}
```

Search-only rows have `detailLevel: "search"`; additional product-detail fields
can be empty. Missing prices and other unavailable values are returned as null
or empty collections rather than invented values.

### Run report

Review the run report for unavailable products, unsupported links and incomplete
searches. A maximum total charge can limit the number of results returned.

### Pricing

Pay per delivered product, plus a run-start charge. The start charge is per GB of memory, rounded up with a minimum of one; the default 512 MB run is one start.
The start charge applies even if no products are returned. See the Pricing tab for current prices.

### Limits

- Prices and availability are what Amazon shows a visitor without a delivery
  address or account.
- Up to 20 results pages per keyword.
- Additional product details and direct product lookups are available on amazon.com only.
- Availability and the number of results can vary by marketplace and search.

# Actor input Schema

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Words you would type into Amazon's search box. Each keyword is searched page by page until Max items is reached.

## `productUrls` (type: `array`):

amazon.com product links (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0...) or bare 10-character ASINs. Product pages are available on amazon.com only; links to other Amazon sites are skipped with a note in OUTPUT.

## `marketplace` (type: `string`):

Which Amazon site to search. Bare ASINs are looked up on this site.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of product rows for the whole run.

## `includeDetails` (type: `boolean`):

For amazon.com searches, also open every result's product page to add seller, brand, availability, all images, category path and best sellers rank. Slower. Ignored on other Amazon sites.

## `includeReviewsSummary` (type: `boolean`):

Add the share of reviews per star (5 to 1) to rows that come from a product page.
