## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## AutoScout24 Used Car Scraper

Collect used car listings from AutoScout24 in Germany, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Austria and Spain. Each result gives price, mileage, first registration, fuel, gearbox, power, seller category and location in one consistent table.

It suits dealers checking the market, buyers comparing prices, and analysts tracking used car stock or price levels across countries.

### Input

Choose a country and, optionally, a make and model, a maximum price in euros, an earliest registration year and a maximum mileage. With no input, the actor returns up to 50 used cars in Germany.

- **Country:** `de`, `it`, `fr`, `nl`, `at` or `es`. Belgium is not available.
- **Make and model:** lowercase names without accents, with hyphens instead of spaces, for example `volkswagen`, `golf`, `skoda` or `citroen`. A model needs a make. Names such as `škoda` are rejected before the run starts.
- **Maximum listings:** 1 to 5,000 (default 50).
- **Include vehicle details:** adds body type and the seller's description, and fills in more specifications. It is slower, see Limits.

```json
{
  "country": "de",
  "make": "volkswagen",
  "model": "golf",
  "maxPrice": 15000,
  "minRegistrationYear": 2015,
  "maxMileageKm": 100000,
  "maxItems": 50,
  "includeDetails": false
}
```

### Output example

```json
{
  "listingId": "f1dc8c65-ab84-4faa-867e-ca14385b0b07",
  "make": "Opel",
  "model": "Mokka",
  "version": "Mokka X Innovation Start/Stop",
  "price": 5000,
  "currency": "EUR",
  "firstRegistration": "2017-08-01",
  "mileageKm": 183000,
  "fuel": "Diesel",
  "gearbox": "Schaltgetriebe",
  "powerKw": 100,
  "powerHp": 136,
  "bodyType": null,
  "sellerType": "dealer",
  "location": {"city": "Alsdorf", "zip": "52477", "country": "DE"},
  "url": "https://www.autoscout24.de/angebote/opel-mokka-x-innovation-start-stop-festpreis-diesel-grau-cat_ma54gr20148ge1038va1686mt12522tr4591-f1dc8c65-ab84-4faa-867e-ca14385b0b07",
  "imageCount": 24,
  "description": null,
  "detailsParsed": false
}
```

Every result has the same fields. `sellerType` is `dealer` or `private`. `detailsParsed` is `true` when vehicle details were added.

### Missing or empty values

- A value the listing does not show is `null`.
- Without vehicle details, `bodyType` and `description` are usually empty.
- When a listing shows only the month and year of first registration, the date uses the first day of that month, for example `2017-08-01`.
- Fuel, gearbox and body type are in the country's own language, for example `Schaltgetriebe` or `Diésel`.
- Image count can be higher when vehicle details are included.
- Public descriptions and vehicle labels are retained, including published contact and address text. Whitespace is normalized.
- A search with no matches finishes successfully with no results and a message saying nothing matched.

### Limits

- Six countries: Germany, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Austria and Spain.
- Up to 5,000 results per run. Very broad searches may end sooner if the site shows fewer results.
- With vehicle details, each listing takes longer, so a few hundred listings fit in the default run time. Raise the run timeout for larger detail runs.
- Listings change and disappear often, so two runs of the same search can differ. If a run stops early, it keeps the results it found and its status message says why.

### Privacy

The actor returns vehicle data and the seller category, without separate seller contact fields. Public listing descriptions may include names, phone numbers, email addresses and street addresses supplied by the source.

### Pricing

See the Pricing tab. Use the results for lawful vehicle research and follow AutoScout24's terms.
