## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Bumeran and ZonaJobs Jobs Scraper

Collect job search results from Bumeran Argentina, Bumeran Mexico and ZonaJobs Argentina as a downloadable dataset. Useful for recruiters, job market researchers and anyone tracking openings, employers and work arrangements in these countries.

### Input

- **Site and country**: `bumeran-ar`, `bumeran-mx` or `zonajobs-ar`.
- **Search phrase**: a job title or keywords, for example `programador`. Leave it empty to list jobs without a keyword.
- **Maximum jobs**: how many jobs to collect, from 1 to 5000 (default 50).

```json
{"site": "bumeran-ar", "query": "programador", "maxItems": 50}
```

### Output

Each row is one job from the search results:

```json
{
  "jobId": "1118504403",
  "site": "bumeran-ar",
  "country": "ar",
  "title": "Java Software Engineer - Híbrido - 1919",
  "company": "Aliantec",
  "location": "Capital Federal, Buenos Aires",
  "modality": "Híbrido",
  "workday": "Full-time",
  "area": "Tecnología, Sistemas y Telecomunicaciones",
  "subarea": null,
  "vacancyCount": 1,
  "disabilityFriendly": false,
  "quickApply": true,
  "applicationSalaryRequired": false,
  "postedAt": "2026-11-01",
  "modifiedAt": "2026-11-01",
  "url": "https://www.bumeran.com.ar/empleos/java-software-engineer-hibrido-1919-aliantec-1118504403.html",
  "contractType": null,
  "salaryText": null,
  "salaryMin": null,
  "salaryMax": null,
  "salaryCurrency": null,
  "salaryPeriod": null,
  "descriptionExcerpt": null
}
```

`modality` is the work arrangement as the site states it (Presencial, Híbrido or Remoto) and `workday` the schedule. `applicationSalaryRequired` means the employer asks applicants for their salary expectations; it is not the job's pay.

### What can be empty

- Salary, contract type and description fields are always empty: this actor collects search results, which do not include them.
- `company` is empty when the employer posts confidentially.
- `subarea` is usually empty because the sites rarely provide it.
- Public titles and employer names are preserved, including business contacts supplied by the advertiser. The `jobId` is always present.

### Limits

- Covers Bumeran Argentina, Bumeran Mexico and ZonaJobs Argentina only.
- Up to 5000 jobs per run. A search with fewer matches returns fewer jobs, and a search with no matches finishes successfully with zero rows.
- Repeated runs can return the same jobs; use `site` and `jobId` together to remove duplicates.

### Privacy

Public search fields are returned as published, including advertiser-provided names and business contacts. Employer names are kept as the site shows them and can be the name of an individual. Confidential employer names remain empty.

### Pricing

See the Pricing tab for the current price per run start and per job.

# Actor input Schema

Choose the job board and country to search, for example bumeran-ar for Bumeran Argentina. Optional; if omitted, defaults to bumeran-ar.

## `query` (type: `string`):

Enter a job title or search phrase, for example programador (up to 200 characters). Optional; if omitted, defaults to programador; leave empty to search without a keyword filter.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Enter the maximum number of jobs to collect, from 1 to 5000. Optional; if omitted, defaults to 50; fewer jobs may be returned if the search has fewer results.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "site": "bumeran-ar",
  "query": "programador",
  "maxItems": 50
}
