## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Walmart Scraper — Products, Prices & Reviews

Collect Walmart.com products for price comparison, assortment research and seller analysis. Search by keyword, use your own Walmart results links, or collect specific products. Get prices, availability, sellers, ratings and images in a dataset you can use in spreadsheets, dashboards and monitoring workflows.

Add full product details for descriptions, specifications, variants, UPCs and up to 10 available customer reviews. No Walmart account is required.

### Quick start

Collect up to 100 air fryers:

```json
{
  "searchQueries": ["air fryer"],
  "maxItems": 100
}
```

For a smaller selection with full details:

```json
{
  "searchQueries": ["coffee maker"],
  "includeDetails": true,
  "maxItems": 20
}
```

For specific products, supply their Walmart product links or item IDs:

```json
{
  "productUrls": ["11381374703", "5125973778"]
}
```

### What you can do

- **Compare prices:** collect current prices, was-prices, unit prices and available price ranges.
- **Research assortments:** compare brands, categories, product options and marketplace sellers.
- **Find promotions:** review badges such as Rollback, Clearance and Best seller.
- **Understand customer feedback:** collect ratings, review counts and available review text with full details.
- **Build price histories:** schedule repeated snapshots and compare the results over time.

### Inputs

Supply at least one of `searchQueries`, `searchUrls` or `productUrls`.

| Input | Default | What to enter |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `searchQueries` | — | A list of search terms, such as `air fryer` or `running shoes`. |
| `searchUrls` | — | Walmart.com search results, department results or deals-page links. Pasted links keep their own filters and sorting. |
| `productUrls` | — | Walmart.com product links or item IDs. These return full product details. |
| `includeDetails` | `false` | Set to `true` to add full details to search results. |
| `maxItems` | `100` | Maximum products for the entire run, from **1 to 5,000**. |
| `sort` | `bestMatch` | `bestMatch`, `priceLowToHigh`, `priceHighToLow`, `bestSelling`, `highestRated` or `newest`. Applies to `searchQueries`. |
| `minPrice`, `maxPrice` | — | Minimum and maximum whole-dollar prices in USD, starting at `0`. Applies to `searchQueries`. |

For example, use `"sort": "priceLowToHigh", "minPrice": 20, "maxPrice": 60` to find lower-priced products within your budget. If a department page shows categories rather than products, open its product results page and use that link.

### Results

Each product is returned once per run. Available fields include:

| Fields | What they give you |
| --- | --- |
| `usItemId`, `url`, `name`, `brand` | Product identifiers, links and names for matching and comparison. |
| `price`, `wasPrice`, `currency`, `minPrice`, `maxPrice`, `unitPrice` | Current pricing, comparisons and options in USD. |
| `sellerName`, `sellerId`, `availability`, `inStock` | Seller and availability information. |
| `rating`, `reviewCount`, `badges`, `isSponsored` | Ratings, promotional labels and sponsored-placement status. |
| `imageUrl`, `images`, `category`, `deliveryText` | Product imagery, category and displayed delivery information. |
| `detailLevel`, `searchInput`, `position`, `searchPage`, `scrapedAt` | Detail coverage, the search that found the product, its results position and collection time. |

Full details also include available `description`, `highlights`, `specifications`, `variants`, `model`, `upc`, `sellerRating`, `sellerReviewCount`, `ratingBreakdown`, `recommendedPercentage` and `reviews`. Each review can include its rating, title, text, date, author and feedback counts. Missing information stays empty rather than being estimated.

If some pages or products are unavailable, you keep the results already collected. The run summary explains any incomplete searches or missing details. A product returned without optional full details is marked `detailLevel: "listing"`.

### Pricing

All actor fees are in **USD**:

| Result | Price |
| --- | --- |
| Product listing | **$0.50 per 1,000 products** ($0.0005 each) |
| Full product details | **$1.40 per 1,000 detailed products** ($0.0014 each, including the listing price) |
| Run start | **$0.005** at the default 512 MB |

The full-details price includes a **$0.90 per 1,000** detail add-on. If optional details are unavailable but a listing is returned, you pay the listing price only. Result fees apply only to delivered products. The start fee applies even when no products are delivered and is charged per GB of memory, with a minimum of one event. The default 512 MB run is one start event. Set a maximum charge for the run to control spending. Platform usage is included.

### Coverage and limits

This actor covers **Walmart.com in the United States**. Prices and delivery availability reflect the displayed location and can differ from a particular store. Verify availability with the retailer before purchasing.

A search covers up to **25 results pages**. Use narrower searches to explore larger assortments. Full details take longer than listings, and temporary product or page availability can lead to fewer results than requested. Search results can include sponsored products; use `isSponsored` when comparing organic placements.

# Actor input Schema

## `searchQueries` (type: `array`):

What you would type in the Walmart search box, for example "air fryer" or "lego star wars". Each search is run with the sort and price filters below.

## `searchUrls` (type: `array`):

Links copied from a Walmart results page (walmart.com/search?q=..., walmart.com/browse/..., walmart.com/shop/...). The link's own filters and sort are kept. Category landing pages (walmart.com/cp/...) have no product list and are refused.

## `productUrls` (type: `array`):

Walmart product links (walmart.com/ip/.../123456789) or bare item ids. Each becomes one row with the full product details.

## `includeDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Open each search result's product page to add the description, specifications, highlights, all images, variants, model, UPC, seller rating, rating breakdown and up to 10 recent reviews. Slower than search results alone.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Total cap on rows for the run, across every search, link and product. Walmart shows at most 25 pages per search.

## `sort` (type: `string`):

Order of the results for the search words above, as on Walmart. Links keep their own sort.

## `minPrice` (type: `integer`):

Lowest price in US dollars, for the search words above.

## `maxPrice` (type: `integer`):

Highest price in US dollars, for the search words above.
