## Pricing

from $2.00 / 1,000 events

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Facebook Events Scraper

### What is Facebook Events Scraper?

**Facebook Events Scraper** lets you **scrape Facebook events** by keyword, from public Facebook Pages, or from event links: event name, start and end date, place and address, how many people are going and interested, hosts, tickets, description and cover image. Type what you are looking for or paste links, click **Start**, and download the events as Excel, CSV or JSON.

- 🔎 **Search by keyword:** a topic, a place or both, such as `Comedy New York`
- 📅 **Page events:** a Page's upcoming and past events, or just one of the two
- 👥 **Going and interested:** the number of people going, interested and invited for every event
- 📍 **Place and address:** venue name and link, address, city and map coordinates
- 🔓 **No login:** no Facebook account, cookies or API key needed
- 💸 **Free to try:** every Apify account gets $5 of free usage each month

### What can Facebook Events Scraper do?

- Search Facebook events by **keyword, city or both**
- Use Facebook's own **search filters** (dates, categories, places) by pasting a search link
- Get a Page's **upcoming and past events**
- Get the details of **single events** from their links
- Run **many searches and Pages in one run**, read side by side
- Export to Excel, CSV, JSON, HTML or XML, or send the events to Google Sheets, Make, Zapier and more

### What data can you extract from Facebook events?

| | | |
|---|---|---|
| 📝 Event name | 📅 Start date and time | ⏱️ End date and duration (when set) |
| 👥 People going | ⭐ People interested | ✉️ People invited |
| 📍 Place name, link and coordinates | 🏠 Address (when set) | 🌆 City |
| 🧑‍💼 Hosts and their Pages | 🎟️ Tickets link and price (when set) | 🖼️ Cover image and its description |
| 📄 Description | 🔗 Links in the description | 🏷️ Categories (when set) |
| 🌐 Online or in person | ❌ Canceled or not | 🔁 Repeating events and their number of dates |

### How to scrape Facebook events

1. [Create a free Apify account](https://console.apify.com/sign-up) (no credit card needed).
2. Open **Facebook Events Scraper**.
3. Type one or more **searches**, for example `Comedy New York`, or paste **Page or event links**.
4. Choose how many events you want per search or link and click **Start**.
5. When the run finishes, download your events as Excel, CSV, JSON, HTML or XML.

### How much does it cost to scrape Facebook events?

You pay only for the events you get, per 1,000 events. See the **Pricing** tab for the current price. Every Apify account gets **$5 of free usage each month**, so you can try it at no cost.

### ⬇️ Input

| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Search events | Words to search for: a topic (`Comedy`), a place (`Chicago`) or both (`Jazz Chicago`) |
| Or Facebook Page, event or search links | Page links (upcoming and past events), event links, or Facebook event search links with filters |
| Max events per search or link | How many events to get from each search or link. Leave it empty to get every event it lists |

A Page link (`https://www.facebook.com/NASA`) gives the Page's upcoming events, then its past events. Add `/upcoming_hosted_events` or `/past_hosted_events` to the link to get only one of the two.

To use Facebook's search filters (dates, categories, places), search for events on Facebook without logging in, set the filters, and paste the address of the results page, for example `https://www.facebook.com/events/search/?q=yoga&filters=...`.

Example: two searches, 50 events each.

```json
{
  "searchQueries": ["Comedy New York", "Jazz Chicago"],
  "maxEvents": 50
}
```

Example: a Page's events and one event.

```json
{
  "startUrls": [
    "https://www.facebook.com/NASA",
    "https://www.facebook.com/events/1474625497812411/"
  ]
}
```

### ⬆️ Output

You get one row per event. You can view them as a table in Apify Console or download them as Excel, CSV, JSON, HTML or XML.

Each run also saves a short report with how many searches, links and events it covered, and any link it could not scrape with the reason (for example, an event that was deleted or is not public).

### How can I use Facebook events data?

- **Event discovery:** build listings of concerts, classes, meetups and festivals in a city
- **Market research:** see which events draw the most people going and interested
- **Lead generation:** find venues, promoters and organizers that host events
- **Competitor monitoring:** follow the events other venues and brands host
- **Local marketing:** plan your own events around what is already on in your area

### ❓FAQ

#### How many events can I get from one search?

Facebook shows visitors a limited list for each search: from a handful to a few hundred events in our tests, depending on the words (for example about 30 for `music`, 60 for `comedy` and over 200 for `yoga`). The list also changes between runs. To get more, run several searches (for example a topic with different cities) or use Facebook's date filters through a search link.

#### How many events can I get from a Page?

Every upcoming and past event the Page shows to visitors.

#### Why are the going and interested numbers different from what I see on Facebook?

They are the numbers Facebook shows at the time of the run. They change as people answer.

#### Why is there no end date for some events?

The host did not set one. Facebook then shows only the start.

#### What about repeating events?

A repeating event (for example a weekly class) comes back once, with the date and link of its next date, `eventFrequency` (such as `WEEKLY`) and `childEventsCount`, the number of its dates.

#### Why does a link come back as "not found"?

The Page or event does not exist, is not public, or the Page does not show events to visitors. Such links are listed in the run report; they do not fail the run.

#### Do I need a Facebook account?

No. You don't need a Facebook account, cookies or an API key.

#### Can I connect Facebook Events Scraper to other tools or AI agents?

Yes. Start runs and download results with the Apify API or the Python and JavaScript clients, send results to Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets or Slack with Apify integrations and webhooks, or let AI assistants and agents run it through the Apify MCP server at [mcp.apify.com](https://mcp.apify.com).

#### Is it legal to scrape Facebook events?

This scraper only collects events that their hosts chose to make public. It does not collect private data such as e-mail addresses or phone numbers, or the names of the people who answered. Event data can still contain personal data, which may be protected by laws such as GDPR, so only scrape it for a legitimate reason and ask a lawyer if you are unsure. You can read more in [Is web scraping legal?](https://blog.apify.com/is-web-scraping-legal/)

Facebook Events Scraper is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Facebook or Meta.

#### Something isn't working. What should I do?
