## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## TikTok Followers Scraper

### What is TikTok Followers Scraper?

**TikTok Followers Scraper** is a tool that lets you **scrape the followers and following lists of TikTok profiles**: username, display name, bio, bio link, follower, following, like and video counts, verified and private flags, and profile picture. Enter one or more usernames, click **Start**, and download the users as Excel, CSV or JSON.

- 👥 **Both lists:** who follows a profile, who the profile follows, or both in one run
- 🆕 **Newest first:** the most recent followers come first
- 📊 **Full profiles:** follower, like and video counts for every user in the list
- 🔓 **No login:** no TikTok account, cookies or API key needed

### What can TikTok Followers Scraper do?

- Scrape the **followers** of any public TikTok profile, newest first
- Scrape the **following** list: the accounts a profile follows
- Get both lists for many profiles in one run, each row tagged with the profile and the list it came from
- Get each user's follower, following, like and video counts, bio and verified badge
- Get results in seconds over the **real-time API**, without starting a run
- Export to Excel, CSV, JSON, HTML or XML, or send them to Google Sheets, Make, Zapier and more

### What data can you extract from TikTok followers?

| | | |
|---|---|---|
| 👤 Username | 🏷️ Display name | 🆔 User ID |
| 📝 Bio | 🔗 Bio link | ✅ Verified badge |
| 👥 Followers | ➡️ Following | ❤️ Total likes |
| 🎬 Number of videos | 🔒 Private account | 🖼️ Profile picture |
| 🛍️ TikTok Shop seller | 🔁 Follower or following | 🎯 Profile it came from |

### How to scrape TikTok followers

1. [Create a free Apify account](https://console.apify.com/sign-up) (no credit card needed).
2. Open **TikTok Followers Scraper**.
3. Add one or more **TikTok usernames** or profile links.
4. Choose **Followers**, **Following** or **Both**, and how many users you want per profile, then click **Start**.
5. When the run finishes, download your users as Excel, CSV, JSON, HTML or XML.

### ⬇️ Input

Profiles can be a username (`khaby.lame`), `@khaby.lame` or a profile link (`https://www.tiktok.com/@khaby.lame`).

| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Profiles | The TikTok profiles whose lists you want |
| List | Followers, Following or Both (default Followers) |
| Max users per profile | How many users to get per profile and list (default 500). With Both, each list gets up to this many |
| Language | Language for the results (default English) |

Example: the latest 1,000 followers and up to 1,000 followed accounts of each of two creators.

```json
{
  "profiles": ["khaby.lame", "https://www.tiktok.com/@lil_biney"],
  "listType": "both",
  "maxResultsPerProfile": 1000
}
```

### ⬆️ Output

You get one row per user. `profile` is the profile whose list the user is in, and `relation` says which list: `follower` (the user follows that profile) or `following` (that profile follows the user). You can view the rows as a table in Apify Console or download them as Excel, CSV, JSON, HTML or XML.

```json
{
  "username": "khateb_10",
  "url": "https://www.tiktok.com/@khateb_10",
  "nickname": "عبدالله الخطيب 🇸🇾",
  "id": "7471476590519600150",
  "secUid": "MS4wLjABAAAAX-u8JH9ke5DTciPjcyY10NR5zoEo9znwXRz1rKMD-zXZr4QgtLAO1LBYH8dpX2Sc",
  "bio": "🇸🇾🇦🇹",
  "bioLink": null,
  "verified": false,
  "privateAccount": false,
  "followers": 75,
  "following": 630,
  "likes": 0,
  "videos": 0,
  "avatarUrl": "https://p16-common-sign.tiktokcdn-us.com/tos-maliva-avt-0068/928cd2d6a913181b5a26114153f63313~tplv-tiktokx-cropcenter:1080:1080.jpeg",
  "createdAt": null,
  "language": null,
  "isSeller": false,
  "source": "khaby.lame",
  "fetchedAt": "2026-09-24T18:46:30Z",
  "profile": "khaby.lame",
  "relation": "follower"
}
```

Each run also saves a short report that lists how many profiles and users it covered, and any profile it could not scrape with the reason (for example, a username that does not exist).

### How can I use TikTok followers data?

- **Influencer marketing:** find engaged creators among a brand's or a competitor's followers
- **Audience research:** see who follows a creator and how big their own audiences are
- **Lead generation:** build lists of accounts, shops and creators in your niche
- **Growth tracking:** see who started following a profile most recently
- **Network analysis:** map who follows whom between creators, brands and communities

### Real-time TikTok followers API

Need followers right away inside your app? Call the actor's API and get the users back in the response, without starting a run:

```
GET https://<your-actor-standby-url>/followers?username=khaby.lame&type=followers&limit=100
Authorization: Bearer <YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN>
```

`type` can be `followers`, `following` or `both`.

You can also run the actor from your own code with the [Apify API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2) or the Python and JavaScript clients:

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("<YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN>")
run = client.actor("automly/tiktok-followers-scraper").call(run_input={
    "profiles": ["khaby.lame"],
    "listType": "both",
    "maxResultsPerProfile": 1000,
})
for user in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(user["relation"], user["username"], user["followers"])
```

### ❓FAQ

#### How much does it cost to scrape TikTok followers?

$0.40 per 1,000 users ($0.0004 per user), plus $0.00005 per run at the default settings. You pay only for the users you get, and the **Pricing** tab always shows the current price. Every Apify account gets $5 of free usage each month, enough for about 12,000 users, so you can try it at no cost.

#### How many followers can I scrape from one profile?

TikTok shows only the most recent few thousand users of each list. In our tests (September 2026) we got the latest 7,170 followers of an account with 163 million followers, 5,580 of one with 43,000 and 4,153 of one with 128,000, and 6,440 of the 8,920 accounts one profile follows. Setting Max users per profile higher does not get more. Lists of up to about a thousand users came in full (for example 1,125 of 1,145). The last few users TikTok counts on a profile are often deleted or banned accounts, so the totals can be slightly lower than the number shown on the profile.

#### Why did I get no followers for a profile?

TikTok does not show the lists of private accounts, and some people hide who they follow. In both cases the profile gives no rows for that list. A username that does not exist is listed in the run report.

#### Do I need a TikTok account?

No. You don't need a TikTok account, cookies or an API key.

#### Is it legal to scrape TikTok followers?

This scraper only collects information that people chose to show on their public TikTok profiles. It does not collect private data such as email addresses or phone numbers. Profiles are still personal data, which may be protected by laws such as GDPR, so only scrape it for a legitimate reason and ask a lawyer if you are unsure. You can read more in [Is web scraping legal?](https://blog.apify.com/is-web-scraping-legal/)

TikTok Followers Scraper is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by TikTok.
