#### How much does it cost?

#### Why did a video give no transcript?

TikTok only has a transcript for videos with captions: most videos with speech get them automatically, but music-only videos, very short clips and some older videos have none. Those videos are listed under `noTranscript` in the run report and are not charged.

#### Can I get the transcript in another language?

Set **Transcript language** to a two-letter code such as `es`. When TikTok has a transcript in that language you get it; otherwise you get the one in the language spoken in the video. `availableLanguages` lists every language a video has.

#### Do I need a TikTok account?

No. You don't need a TikTok account, cookies or an API key.

#### Can I get transcripts of private videos?

No. Only public videos can be read. Private, deleted or mistyped videos are skipped and listed in the run report.

#### Is it legal to scrape TikTok transcripts?

This scraper only collects what creators chose to publish. It does not collect private data such as email addresses or phone numbers. What people say in videos can still be personal data, which may be protected by laws such as GDPR, so only scrape it for a legitimate reason and ask a lawyer if you are unsure.
