## Pricing

from $2.38 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

### What does Trade Show Exhibitor Scraper do?

Trade Show Exhibitor Scraper is an ExpoFP scraper and a Map Your Show scraper in one. Give it the floor plan or exhibitor directory of a trade show and it returns the full exhibitor list as clean rows: company name, booth number, hall, company description, logo, website, phone, address, social links and product categories. It works on public pages only, with no login and no account.

Thousands of trade shows publish their exhibitor list on one of these two platforms. ExpoFP powers interactive floor plans such as `demo.expofp.com` or `techshowmadrid2026.expofp.com`. Map Your Show runs the exhibitor directories of large North American shows such as SEMA, NAB Show, CES (`exhibitors.ces.tech`), IMTS and PACK EXPO. Both show the same kind of data, but only one company at a time. This Actor reads the whole list in one run and gives you a spreadsheet-ready dataset.

Use it to build a lead list before a show, to see which competitors exhibit where, to plan which booths to visit, or to keep a record of who exhibited at each edition of an event. Several events can go into one run, and the rows from all of them land in one dataset, each tagged with `platform`, `eventSlug` and `eventName`.

### What data can you get from ExpoFP and Map Your Show?

| Field | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
| `id` | Unique row ID: platform, event slug and exhibitor ID | `expofp:demo:6149205` |
| `platform` | `expofp` or `mapyourshow` | `mapyourshow` |
| `eventSlug` | ExpoFP subdomain or Map Your Show show ID (lower case) | `nab26` |
| `eventName` | Name of the trade show | `2026 NAB Show` |
| `eventUrl` | Floor plan or directory URL | `https://nab26.mapyourshow.com/8_0/explore/exhibitor-gallery.cfm` |
| `exhibitorId` | Platform's ID of the exhibitor | `8800198` |
| `externalId` | Organiser's external ID (ExpoFP, when set) | `RXhoaWJpdG9yXzE4OTc5NDQ=` |
| `name` | Company name | `16x9, Inc.` |
| `booths` | All booth numbers as a list | `["4.1-30", "4.2-15"]` |
| `booth` | Booth numbers joined with commas | `4.1-30, 4.2-15` |
| `hall` | Hall or area (Map Your Show) | `C` |
| `description` | Company description as plain text | `16x9 Inc. is an exclusive North American distributor...` |
| `logoUrl` | Logo image URL | `https://exhibitors.ces.tech/mys_shared/CES27/logos/0013A00001Uad1ZQAR.jpg` |
| `website` | Company website | `https://www.16x9inc.com` |
| `email` | Company email (ExpoFP, when the organiser publishes it) | `sales@greeninnovations.example` |
| `phone` | Company phone | `661-295-3313` |
| `address` | Street address | `3403 West Pacific Avenue` |
| `city` | City | `Burbank` |
| `state` | State or region | `California` |
| `zip` | Postal code | `91505` |
| `country` | Country | `United States` |
| `linkedin` | LinkedIn page | `http://www.linkedin.com/company/16x9-inc-` |
| `facebook` | Facebook page | `https://www.facebook.com/sixteenbynine` |
| `twitter` | X / Twitter profile | `https://twitter.com/16x9inc` |
| `instagram` | Instagram profile | `null` |
| `youtube` | YouTube channel (ExpoFP, when set) | `null` |
| `categories` | Product or exhibitor categories | `["Lighting and Grip", "Production"]` |
| `featured` | Marked as featured or sponsor by the organiser | `false` |
| `exhibitorUrl` | Link to the exhibitor on the plan or directory | `https://demo.expofp.com/?exhibitor=BioSustainable%20Ltd.` |
| `sourceUrl` | Data file or page the row was read from | `https://demo.expofp.com/data/data.js` |

How full each field is depends on the organiser, not on this Actor. Some ExpoFP plans carry websites, phones and emails for every exhibitor, others only names and booths. Map Your Show detail pages usually carry website, phone and address, and many list product categories. Fields the organiser left empty come back as `null`.

### How to use Trade Show Exhibitor Scraper

1. Open the Actor in Apify Console and go to the Input tab.
2. In **Events**, add one line per trade show. You can paste the floor plan or directory URL straight from your browser, or type the short code: `demo`, `techshowmadrid2026` (ExpoFP) or `sema26`, `iseexpo26` (Map Your Show).
3. Leave **Platform** on Auto-detect unless you give a bare code that exists on both platforms or a custom domain.
4. Keep **Include Map Your Show contact details** on if you need website, phone, address and categories for Map Your Show shows. Switch it off for a faster run with names, booths, halls, descriptions and logos only.
5. Set **Maximum exhibitors** to cap the run. The cap counts rows across all events together.
6. Click **Start**. When the run ends, open the Output tab and export the dataset as JSON, CSV, Excel, XML or HTML.

Where do you find the URL? On an ExpoFP plan, the address bar shows `https://<event>.expofp.com/`. On a Map Your Show site, any URL with `/8_0/` in it works, for example the "Exhibitor List" or "Floor Plan" page.
Big shows have thousands of exhibitors. A run with details reads about two Map Your Show detail pages per second, so 1,000 exhibitors take roughly 8 to 10 minutes. ExpoFP plans load all exhibitors from one file in seconds.
If an event doesn't exist any more, or its directory is closed, the run still succeeds. That event adds no rows and the status message says why, for example `ExpoFP event no-such-event not found (HTTP 403)`.

### Input

| Field | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `events` | array of strings | Yes | ExpoFP floor plan URLs or slugs, Map Your Show directory URLs or show codes, one per entry. |
| `platform` | string | No | `auto` (default), `expofp` or `mapyourshow`. Decides how bare codes and custom domains are read. |
| `includeDetails` | boolean | No | Map Your Show only. Default `true`: read each exhibitor's detail page for contact fields and categories. |
| `maxItems` | integer | No | Maximum exhibitor rows across all events, at least 1, default 1000. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | object | No | Default: no proxy. A blocked Map Your Show host switches to Apify residential proxy automatically. |

```json
{
    "events": [
        "https://demo.expofp.com/",
        "techshowmadrid2026",
        "https://exhibitors.ces.tech/8_0/explore/exhibitor-gallery.cfm",
        "iseexpo26"
    ],
    "platform": "auto",
    "includeDetails": true,
    "maxItems": 1000,
    "proxyConfiguration": { "useApifyProxy": false }
}
```

How each entry is read in `auto` mode:

| Entry | Read as |
|---|---|
| `https://<slug>.expofp.com/...` | ExpoFP plan `<slug>` |
| any URL with `/8_0/`, or `https://<code>.mapyourshow.com/...` | Map Your Show directory on that host |
| a bare code such as `sema26` | ExpoFP `sema26.expofp.com` if it exists, else Map Your Show `sema26.mapyourshow.com` |
| another domain | an ExpoFP plan on that domain if it has one, else a Map Your Show directory |

### Output

Each exhibitor is one row. Here are three real rows from test runs: an ExpoFP plan, a Map Your Show show with details, and a Map Your Show show on a custom domain without details.

### How much does it cost to scrape ExpoFP and Map Your Show?

Trade Show Exhibitor Scraper is charged per result: one charge per exhibitor row returned. You pay only for rows you get, and `maxItems` caps how many there can be. See the Pricing tab for the current price.

A few things keep runs cheap and quick. An ExpoFP plan needs two small requests no matter how many exhibitors it has. A Map Your Show list arrives 500 exhibitors per request, and detail pages are fetched only when `includeDetails` is on. If you only need names and booth numbers, switch details off.

### Use with AI agents (MCP)

Connect Trade Show Exhibitor Scraper to Claude, Cursor or any MCP client through the Apify MCP server:

```json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "apify": {
            "url": "https://mcp.apify.com/?tools=axiomworks/expofp-mapyourshow-exhibitor-scraper"
        }
    }
}
```

Example prompts:

1. "Get the exhibitor list of SEMA Show 2026 from sema26.mapyourshow.com with websites and phone numbers, and give me the companies from California."
2. "Scrape the ExpoFP floor plan techshowmadrid2026 and list every exhibitor with its booth number."
3. "Compare the exhibitors of NAB Show (nab26) and CES (exhibitors.ces.tech) and tell me which companies exhibit at both."

### Integrations and API

Run Trade Show Exhibitor Scraper from your own code with the Apify API. Set `APIFY_TOKEN` to your Apify API token (send it in the `Authorization` header, never in the URL).

**Python**

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("<YOUR_API_TOKEN>")
run = client.actor("axiomworks/expofp-mapyourshow-exhibitor-scraper").call(
    run_input={"events": ["sema26"], "includeDetails": True, "maxItems": 200}
)
for item in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(item["name"], item["booth"], item["website"])
```

**JavaScript**

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
const client = new ApifyClient({ token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' });
const run = await client.actor('axiomworks/expofp-mapyourshow-exhibitor-scraper').call({
    events: ['https://demo.expofp.com/'],
    maxItems: 100,
});
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
```

**cURL**

```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/axiomworks~expofp-mapyourshow-exhibitor-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $APIFY_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"events": ["techshowmadrid2026"], "maxItems": 50}'
```

The Integrations tab connects runs to Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets, Slack and webhooks, so a new exhibitor list can go straight into your CRM or a shared sheet. You can also schedule runs to catch exhibitors that join a show in the weeks before it opens.

### FAQ

**Which shows does it work with?**
Any trade show whose exhibitor list runs on ExpoFP (an interactive floor plan, usually at `<event>.expofp.com` or embedded on the organiser's site) or on Map Your Show (an exhibitor directory with `/8_0/` in its URLs). Examples tested: ExpoFP demo, Tech Show Madrid 2026, SEMA Show 2026, ISE EXPO 2026, NAB Show 2026 and CES 2027.

**Why did an event return 0 rows?**
Organisers remove or reset floor plans some months after a show, and Map Your Show directories redirect to the organiser's home page once they close. The run still ends successfully and the status message names the event and the reason, for example a 403 Not Found from ExpoFP or a redirect from Map Your Show. Check that the event URL still opens in your browser.

**Why are website and phone empty for some exhibitors?**
The organiser decides what to publish. Many ExpoFP plans carry only names, booths and descriptions. On Map Your Show, contact fields come from each exhibitor's detail page, so keep `includeDetails` on. If an exhibitor left a field blank, it is `null`.

**Does it collect email addresses or contact persons?**
Only company emails that an ExpoFP organiser publishes in the plan. Map Your Show keeps email and contact persons behind its login, so this Actor does not collect them.

**How does `maxItems` work with several events?**
It is one budget for the whole run. Events are read in the order you list them, and the run stops once that many rows are saved. To get every exhibitor of every event, set it higher than the total.

**Do I need a proxy?**
No. Both platforms answer direct requests. Map Your Show blocks many datacenter IPs, so when a Map Your Show host answers with a block (403, 429, a server error or a WAF challenge), the Actor retries that show through Apify residential proxy by itself. Only proxy URLs you supply yourself are always used as given.

**How does it read Map Your Show detail pages?**
The detail pages sit behind an automatic browser check. The Actor opens one page per show in a headless browser, lets the check finish on its own, and then reads the detail pages over plain HTTP. It never clicks, types or solves anything. If a show ever requires an interactive puzzle, the Actor keeps the gallery fields (name, booth, hall, description, logo) and says how many exhibitors lack details.

### Is it legal to scrape ExpoFP and Map Your Show?

This Actor reads only exhibitor information that organisers publish openly for visitors, without logging in. The data is about companies: names, booths, websites, company phone numbers and addresses. You are responsible for how you use it, including any rules on direct marketing and personal data (such as GDPR) in your country. If in doubt, ask a lawyer.

Trade Show Exhibitor Scraper is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by ExpoFP or Map Your Show.

# Actor input Schema

## `events` (type: `array`):

Trade show events to scrape, one per line: an ExpoFP floor plan URL (https://demo.expofp.com/), an ExpoFP slug (demo), a Map Your Show directory URL (https://sema26.mapyourshow.com/8_0/explore/exhibitor-gallery.cfm, or an organiser domain like https://exhibitors.ces.tech/8_0/) or a show code (sema26). An event that doesn't exist or has no public list adds 0 rows; the status message names it.

## `platform` (type: `string`):

Which platform the events are on. 'auto' (default) decides per entry: \*.expofp.com URLs are ExpoFP, URLs with /8_0/ or \*.mapyourshow.com are Map Your Show; a bare code is tried on ExpoFP first, then Map Your Show. Set 'expofp' or 'mapyourshow' to skip the guess for bare codes and custom domains.

## `includeDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Map Your Show only, default true: open each exhibitor's detail page to fill website, phone, address, city, state, zip, country, social links and categories (about 1 extra request per exhibitor, slower). False returns only gallery fields (name, booth, hall, description, logo). ExpoFP always includes contact fields the organiser published.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum exhibitor rows across all events together, at least 1, default 1000. Events are read in order and the run stops once this many rows are saved; you are charged only for rows returned.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Proxy for requests, default none (direct). Leave the default unless you need a specific proxy: Map Your Show blocks many datacenter IPs, and a blocked show switches to Apify residential proxy on its own (own proxyUrls are always used as given).
