## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

}
```
### What does SportsBookReview Odds Scraper do?
SportsBookReview Odds Scraper collects the public betting odds that SportsBookReview shows on its league odds pages. For every upcoming game it returns one row per sportsbook, so a single NFL week gives you each game once for BetMGM, bet365, DraftKings, FanDuel, Fanatics, BetRivers, Caesars and Hard Rock Bet, wherever the site lists them. Each row combines the moneyline, the point spread and the over/under total, together with the teams, the start time, the venue and the share of bettors on each side.
The Actor reads the data that the odds pages embed in their own HTML, so it needs no browser and no login. It makes one request every two seconds, which keeps the load on the site small, and it retries on temporary server errors.
Typical uses:
- Compare the same game across sportsbooks to find the best price on a side.
- Compare the current line with the opening line on each item to see how it has moved.
- Feed a model, spreadsheet or dashboard with current NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, college and soccer odds.
- Monitor consensus pick percentages next to the market prices.
This Actor is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to SportsBookReview or any sportsbook.
### What data can you get?
Every item is one game at one sportsbook. Fields that a sportsbook does not offer for a game are `null`.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `id` | Stable ID made of the game ID and the sportsbook, for example `379624-draftkings` |
| `sourceUrl` | Odds page the record came from |
| `gameId` | SportsBookReview game identifier |
| `league` | League name, for example NFL |
| `leagueSlug` | League slug used in the page URL |
| `startDate` | Scheduled start time in ISO 8601 UTC |
| `gameStatus` | Status text shown by the site |
| `homeTeam` / `awayTeam` | Team names |
| `homeTeamShort` / `awayTeamShort` | Team abbreviations |
| `sportsbook` | Sportsbook machine name, for example `draftkings` |
| `sportsbookName` | Sportsbook display name |
| `moneyline` | Object with `home`, `away` and, for soccer, `draw` in American odds |
| `spread` | Object with `homeLine`, `homeOdds` and `awayOdds` |
| `total` | Object with `line`, `over` and `under` |
| `openingLines` | The first posted moneyline, spread and total, only when requested |
| `venueName` / `city` | Stadium or arena and its city |
| `homeScore` / `awayScore` | Team scores shown by the site, `null` before a game is played |
| `gameState` | `scheduled`, `live` or `final` |
| `state` / `country` | Venue state (when given) and country code |
| `homeStarter` / `awayStarter` | Starting pitcher names (MLB games only, otherwise `null`) |
| `requestedDate` | The `dates` value used to load the row, `null` for the current slate |
| `consensus` | Pick percentages for the home and away spread, and for the over and under |
Odds are American odds (for example `-110` or `160`). A spread `homeLine` of `3.5` means the home team gets 3.5 points.
### How to use
1. Open the Actor and pick one or more leagues.
2. Choose the markets you want: moneyline, spread, total. All three are on by default.
3. Optionally list the sportsbooks to keep, for example `draftkings` and `fanduel`.
4. Set `maxItems` to cap the number of rows and start the run.
5. Download the dataset as JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML, or read it through the API.
A run for one league and three markets fetches three pages and normally finishes in well under a minute. Games that have already finished are skipped, because their odds are no longer meaningful. Leagues that are out of season return no games, and the run then ends successfully with a warning in the log.
### Input
| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `leagues` | array | League slugs to scrape. Allowed: `nfl-football`, `nba-basketball`, `mlb-baseball`, `nhl-hockey`, `english-premier-league`, `major-league-soccer`, `champions-league`, `college-football`, `ncaa-basketball`, `wnba-basketball`, `cfl-football`. Required. |
| `markets` | array | Any of `moneyline`, `spread`, `total`. Default all three. |
| `sportsbooks` | array | Optional sportsbook machine names to keep, such as `draftkings`, `fanduel`, `betmgm`, `bet365`, `fanatics`, `bet_rivers_co`, `caesars`, `hardrock`. Empty keeps all. |
| `teamNames` | array | Keep a game when either team name or abbreviation contains any supplied term, ignoring case. Empty keeps all games. |
| `gameIds` | array | Keep only these numeric SportsBookReview gameId values, within the selected leagues and dates. Empty keeps all games. |
| `dates` | array | Days to scrape as `YYYY-MM-DD`, for example past MLB or NBA days. Finished games are kept. NFL and college football are organised by week on the site and ignore dates. Empty means the current slate. |
| `includeFinished` | boolean | Keep games marked Final on the current slate. Default false; always on when `dates` is set. |
| `includeOpeningLines` | boolean | Adds `openingLines` to every item. Default true. |
| `maxItems` | integer | Maximum number of items, 1 to 10000. Default 50. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | object | Apify Proxy settings. Off by default because the site answers normal requests. |
Example input:
```json
{
  "leagues": ["nfl-football", "english-premier-league"],
  "markets": ["moneyline", "total"],
  "sportsbooks": ["draftkings", "fanduel"],
  "includeOpeningLines": true,
  "maxItems": 50
}
```
How leagues and markets map to requests: each selected market is one page per league. The spread page is the site's default league page. For soccer leagues the default page is a three-way view, which is the only place a real draw price is published, so the Actor uses it for the soccer moneyline when it is available and falls back to the two-way money-line page when a sportsbook is missing there.
#### Collect selected teams or known games
Use `teamNames` to narrow the current slate without knowing a game's numeric identifier. For example, `{"leagues":["nfl-football"],"teamNames":["Bills"],"markets":["moneyline"],"maxItems":20}` keeps Buffalo Bills games. Matching checks both full names and abbreviations and ignores case. Each term is a substring, so choose a specific name when a short fragment could match several teams. Multiple terms use OR: either team can match any supplied term.
Use `gameIds` when an earlier dataset already identifies the fixture you want to monitor. Copy the numeric `gameId`, rather than the compound row `id`, and keep the corresponding league in `leagues`. The Actor still reads the league pages; the filter does not call a separate game endpoint or recover games missing from the selected slate. Multiple IDs use OR. When both filters are supplied, a game must match an ID and a team term. Sportsbook filtering then narrows its rows, and `maxItems` applies across all remaining rows from every league and date. A filter with no matches succeeds with zero results and a status message suggesting which filters to clear.
### Output
Each item looks like this (real output from a local run, shortened):
```json
{
  "id": "379998-betmgm",
  "sourceUrl": "https://www.sportsbookreview.com/betting-odds/nfl-football/money-line/full-game/",
  "gameId": 379998,
  "league": "NFL",
  "leagueSlug": "nfl-football",
  "startDate": "2026-10-13T00:15:00+00:00",
  "gameStatus": "20:15 ET",
  "homeTeam": "Los Angeles Rams",
  "awayTeam": "Buffalo Bills",
  "homeTeamShort": "LA",
  "awayTeamShort": "BUF",
  "sportsbook": "betmgm",
  "sportsbookName": "BetMGM",
  "moneyline": {
    "home": -175,
    "away": 145
  },
  "spread": null,
  "total": null,
  "openingLines": {
    "moneyline": {
      "home": -140,
      "away": 115
    },
    "spread": null,
    "total": null
  },
  "venueName": "SoFi Stadium",
  "city": "Inglewood",
  "consensus": {
    "homeSpreadPickPercent": 42.002688172043015,
    "awaySpreadPickPercent": 57.997311827956985,
    "overPickPercent": 69.34579439252336,
    "underPickPercent": 30.654205607476637
  },
  "homeScore": null,
  "awayScore": null,
  "homeStarter": null,
  "awayStarter": null,
  "requestedDate": null,
  "gameState": "scheduled",
  "state": "CA",
  "country": "USA"
}
```
With `includeOpeningLines` on (the default), each item also has an `openingLines` object holding the first posted `moneyline`, `spread` and `total`. The `consensus` object is `null` for leagues where the site shows no pick data, which is the case for soccer. If a pick percentage pair is zero on both sides, that market is left out of `consensus`.
### How much does it cost?
The Actor is charged per result, and one result is one game and sportsbook row saved to the dataset. Open the Pricing tab of the Actor page for the current price, because it can change. You only pay for rows that are saved, and `maxItems` is a hard cap, so you can bound the cost of a run by setting it. For this pay-per-event Actor, publisher compute and proxy usage are covered by the publisher; customer Actor charges follow the saved result events.
### Use with AI agents (MCP)
You can call this Actor from any MCP-compatible assistant through the Apify MCP server. Add this to your client configuration:
```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "apify": {
      "url": "https://mcp.apify.com?tools=axiomworks/sportsbookreview-odds-scraper"
    }
  }
}
```
Example prompts:
- "Get the current NFL moneylines from DraftKings and FanDuel and tell me which game has the biggest price gap."
- "List all upcoming Premier League games with their draw odds at Caesars."
- "Fetch NBA totals for all sportsbooks and show the games with the highest over/under line."
- "Pull NFL spreads with opening lines and tell me which spreads moved the most since opening."
### FAQ
**Which sportsbooks are covered?**
The ones SportsBookReview lists for the league and region: BetMGM, bet365, DraftKings, FanDuel, Fanatics, BetRivers, Caesars and Hard Rock Bet. Smaller leagues often list fewer books, so some games have fewer rows. Region defaults to the United States.
**Why are some `moneyline`, `spread` or `total` values null?**
A sportsbook may not post that market for a game, or the market was not selected in your input. Soccer games have no point spread, so `spread` is `null` for soccer leagues.
**Why did I get fewer items than `maxItems`?**
The site only lists upcoming games. When the pages hold fewer game and sportsbook rows than the limit, you get all of them. A league that is out of season returns none.
**Why does a soccer league show a draw price?**
Soccer uses a three-way moneyline. The `draw` value appears inside `moneyline` when the site publishes one.
**Are the odds live?**
They are a snapshot taken at the time of the run, as shown on the page. Run the Actor again, or schedule it, for fresh numbers. Lines can change between runs.
**What happens with a wrong league name?**
The Actor logs a warning that the page was not found and ends with zero items. It does not save placeholder records.
**Do I need a proxy?**
Normally no. If your runs are blocked, enable Apify Proxy in the input. The Actor retries blocked or failed requests with a fresh proxy session and a growing delay.
**Can it give odds history?**
It returns the current line and, if you turn it on, the opening line. Full line movement history is not in the page data, so it is not included.
### Is it legal to scrape SportsBookReview?
The Actor reads only publicly available pages that load without logging in, and it does not bypass any access control or CAPTCHA. Odds are factual data, but how you may use it can still depend on your country, on the site's terms of use, and on gambling and data rules where you live. Read the terms of the site, use the data responsibly, and take legal advice if you plan commercial redistribution. Nothing here is legal advice, and the Actor is not meant for placing bets or for any activity that breaks the law.
### Feedback
If a field looks wrong, a league is missing or you need another market, open an issue from the Actor page on Apify and include the input you used. Reports with an example run link are the easiest to act on.
# Actor input Schema
## `leagues` (type: `array`):
Required. League slugs to scrape, e.g. \["nfl-football","nba-basketball"]. Allowed: nfl-football, nba-basketball, mlb-baseball, nhl-hockey, english-premier-league, major-league-soccer, champions-league, college-football, ncaa-basketball, wnba-basketball, cfl-football. Out-of-season leagues return 0 games.
## `markets` (type: `array`):
Markets to include, any of "moneyline", "spread", "total", e.g. \["moneyline"]. Default: all three. Each market costs one extra page request per league.
## `sportsbooks` (type: `array`):
Optional. Only keep these sportsbook machine names, e.g. \["draftkings","fanduel"]. Others: betmgm, bet365, fanatics, bet_rivers_co, caesars, hardrock. Empty = all books.
## `dates` (type: `array`):
Optional. Days to scrape instead of the current slate, as YYYY-MM-DD strings, e.g. \["2026-09-20"]. Works for day-based leagues (MLB, NBA, NHL, soccer, college); NFL and college football are weekly and ignore it. Finished games are included. Empty = current slate.
## `includeFinished` (type: `boolean`):
true keeps games already marked Final (with final scores) on the current slate, e.g. true. Default false. Always on when 'dates' is set.
## `includeOpeningLines` (type: `boolean`):
true adds openingLines (first posted moneyline, spread, total) to each item, e.g. true. Default true.
## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):
Save at most this many game x sportsbook rows across all leagues and dates, integer 1-10000, default 50. Filters apply before this shared limit; blocked or unmatched targets return no error records.
## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):
Apify Proxy settings, e.g. {"useApifyProxy": true}. The site works without a proxy, so it is off by default; enable it if requests get blocked.
## `teamNames` (type: `array`):
Keep games whose home or away team name or abbreviation contains any of these case-insensitive terms, e.g. \["Bills"]. Empty (default) keeps all teams. Combined with gameIds and sportsbook filters; no matches returns zero items.
## `gameIds` (type: `array`):
Keep these SportsBookReview gameId values from a previous output, e.g. \[379624]. Supply leagues containing those games. Empty (default) keeps all games. Combined with teamNames; unresolved IDs return zero items.
