## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Eventbrite Scraper – Events & Organizer Leads

Export **Eventbrite events** by city, keyword, category, date and price, or get the **organizers behind them as a lead
list**: Eventbrite profile metrics (followers, events hosted, attendees hosted), website and social links, and optionally
the emails and phone numbers published on their websites. Clean JSON, CSV or Excel.

### Who uses it

- **Event-tech, ticketing and SaaS vendors**: find active organizers in a city or niche and reach them with their website and contacts.
- **Sponsors, venues, caterers, AV and staffing agencies**: target organizers who run many events in your market.
- **Event aggregators and city guides**: pull upcoming events with venues, coordinates and ticket prices.
- **Researchers**: measure event supply by city, category, price and date.

### Two outputs

| Output | One row per | Highlights |
| ------ | ----------- | ---------- |
| **Events** | event | name, start/end, time zone, venue name, address, city, coordinates, ticket price range, free/sold-out, tags, organizer website/X/Facebook/followers |
| **Organizer leads** | organizer | followers, total events hosted, attendees hosted, years hosting, upcoming events, verified, website, X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, bio, emails/phones, matching events, next event, cities, top tags |

Organizer leads are ranked by how many of the matching events they run, so the most active organizers come first.

### Input

| Field | Default | Description |
| ----- | ------- | ----------- |
| `output` | `events` | `events` or `organizers` |
| `locations` | | Cities or regions as you would type them on Eventbrite (`Austin`, `London`, `Berlin, Germany`) |
| `searchQueries` | | Optional keywords (`networking`, `startup`, `wine tasting`) |
| `categories` | | Optional Eventbrite categories (business, science & tech, music, food & drink, …) |
| `dates` | all upcoming | today, tomorrow, this weekend, this week, next week, this month, next month |
| `price` | any | free or paid |
| `onlineOnly` | `false` | Online events (locations ignored) |
| `eventUrls`, `organizerUrls` | | Specific events or organizers |
| `maxItems` | `100` | Maximum events or organizers (up to 10,000) |
| `includeOrganizerDetails` | `false` | Events output: add organizer profile metrics and socials |
| `findContacts` | `false` | Add emails and phones from organizers' websites and Eventbrite bios |

Eventbrite returns at most 1,000 events per search. When a search reaches that limit and you did not pick categories,
the actor splits it by category to go further.

#### Example: organizer leads for tech events in London, with contacts

```json
{
    "output": "organizers",
    "locations": ["London"],
    "categories": ["science-tech", "business"],
    "maxItems": 200,
    "findContacts": true
}
```

### Contacts

With **Find contacts** on, the actor visits each organizer's website and social links (home page plus up to three contact or
about pages) and keeps emails on the organizer's own domain or a personal mailbox, plus phone numbers from `tel:` links.
Emails written in the organizer's Eventbrite bio are always included. Placeholder addresses are dropped. In our tests about
half of the organizers with a website had a published email or phone.

### Scheduling and integrations

Schedule weekly runs for your cities to catch new organizers, and send rows to Google Sheets, HubSpot, a webhook, Make,
Zapier or n8n with Apify integrations.

### Use it from AI agents (MCP)

AI assistants that support MCP can call this actor through Apify's MCP server (`https://mcp.apify.com`), for example
"find the 20 most active business event organizers in Austin with their websites".

### FAQ

**Do I need an Eventbrite account or API key?** No.

**How many events can I get?** Up to 1,000 per search; the actor splits larger searches by category automatically, and you
can add several locations and keywords per run.

**Why are some organizer fields empty?** Organizers choose what to show; some hide their attendee counts or have no website.

**Are emails guaranteed?** No. The actor only returns contact details organizers publish on Eventbrite or their own websites.

**Is it legal?** The actor collects publicly visible information. Use contact data in line with the privacy and anti-spam laws
that apply to you (for example GDPR and CAN-SPAM).

**Something broke?** Open an issue on the actor's Issues tab.

# Actor input Schema

## `output` (type: `string`):

Events: every matching event with venue, price and organizer. Organizer leads: the organizers behind the matching events, most active first, with followers, events hosted, attendees hosted, website and socials.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Cities or regions as you would type them on Eventbrite, e.g. Austin, London, Berlin, Germany. Each is looked up on Eventbrite first (the run log shows which place was used).

## `searchQueries` (type: `array`):

Optional keywords, e.g. networking, startup, wine tasting. Empty = all events in the locations.

## `categories` (type: `array`):

Optional Eventbrite categories. Without categories, a search that reaches Eventbrite's 1,000-event limit is split by category automatically.

## `dates` (type: `string`):

Time window for the events, in each event's local time.

## `price` (type: `string`):

Free events, paid events or both.

## `onlineOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Search online events (locations are ignored).

## `eventUrls` (type: `array`):

Optional. Specific events, e.g. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/...-tickets-1234567890123.

## `organizerUrls` (type: `array`):

Optional, organizer leads output. Specific organizers, e.g. https://www.eventbrite.com/o/aiga-ny-17093567208.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum events or organizers.

## `includeOrganizerDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Events output: add each organizer's followers, events hosted, attendees hosted and socials (charged once per organizer per run). Always on for organizer leads.

## `findContacts` (type: `boolean`):

Visit each organizer's website and social links (home page plus up to 3 contact/about pages) and add the emails and phone numbers published there, plus any email in the Eventbrite bio. Charged as an extra event only when an email or phone is found.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Apify Proxy is used by default; the actor switches to residential proxies by itself if Eventbrite blocks the requests.
