## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## SeLoger Property Scraper

Export property listings from **seloger.com**, France's largest real-estate portal, for sale or for rent. Every row has the price, surface, rooms, energy class, photos and description, plus the **agency name, phone numbers, website and street address**, so the same run feeds market analysis and agency lead lists. No login, no API key.

### Output fields

| Field | Description |
| --- | --- |
| `id`, `legacyId`, `url` | SeLoger listing ids and the listing page |
| `title`, `headline`, `description` | Title and full description text |
| `transaction`, `propertyType`, `propertyTypeLabel` | BUY / RENT, APARTMENT / HOUSE / ... |
| `price`, `priceText`, `priceNote`, `currency` | Price in euros (monthly rent for rentals), as shown, and notes such as "charges comprises" |
| `rooms`, `bedrooms`, `surfaceM2`, `plotM2`, `floor`, `yearBuilt`, `energyClass` | Property facts |
| `city`, `zipCode`, `district`, `province`, `region`, `addressPublished` | Location |
| `imageCount`, `images`, `keyFacts` | Photos and card key facts |
| `isExclusive`, `has3dVisit`, `hasBrokerageFee`, `isNew` | Listing tags |
| `sellerType` | `agency` or `private` |
| `agencyName`, `agencyPhones`, `agencyWebsite`, `agencyAddress`, `agencyProfileUrl`, `agencyLogo`, `agencyLegal` | Agency contact data (agency listings only; the legal lines include the carte professionnelle) |
| `publishedAt`, `updatedAt`, `scrapedAt` | Timestamps (UTC) |

Phone coverage depends on the listing: in a 100-listing Lyon rental sample, 85 of 92 agency listings carried a phone number and 58 a website.

### Use cases

- **Agency lead lists:** set *Only agency listings* to get one contact row per listing; group by `agencyName` to build a list of active agencies in a city.
- **Price and rent monitoring:** schedule a daily run per city sorted by newest, compare `price` per `surfaceM2`.
- **Investment research:** filter by price, rooms and surface, then rank by price per m² and energy class.
- **PropTech data feeds:** push the dataset to a database or sheet through Apify integrations.

### Input

- **Locations:** cities, postcodes or addresses (`Lyon`, `75011 Paris`). `France` searches the whole country. Advanced users can pass SeLoger place ids.
- **Buy or rent**, **property types**, **price**, **rooms** and **surface** ranges.
- **Only agency listings / only private sellers**, **sort order**, **max listings**.
- **Proxy:** SeLoger blocks datacenter IPs. The default is Apify RESIDENTIAL from France, and the actor switches to a new exit automatically whenever SeLoger challenges one.

```json
{
    "locations": ["Lyon", "Bordeaux"],
    "transaction": "rent",
    "propertyTypes": ["Apartment"],
    "priceMax": 1500,
    "onlyAgencies": true,
    "maxItems": 200
}
```

### Scheduling and integrations

Schedule runs and send results to Google Sheets, webhooks, Zapier or Make with Apify schedules and integrations. The key-value store holds a `SUMMARY` record with the number of listings and the place ids searched.

### FAQ

- **How many listings can I get?** A single city search returned 4,000 listings in about 3 minutes in testing (Paris, for sale, 25,563 matches). Split very large areas by price range or property type.
- **Does it need a SeLoger account?** No. It reads the public listing data.
- **Are phone numbers private owners' numbers?** No. Phones come from the listing's agency card; private sellers are returned without contact data.
- **Why do some rows have no website or phone?** The agency did not publish one on that listing.
- **A run stopped with "Blocked by DataDome".** Retry; the run already tried up to 10 different exits. Make sure the proxy is Apify RESIDENTIAL with country France.

# Actor input Schema

## `locations` (type: `array`):

French cities, postcodes or addresses, e.g. Lyon, 75011 Paris, Bordeaux. Use 'France' for the whole country. Each name is matched to the SeLoger city.

## `placeIds` (type: `array`):

Advanced: SeLoger place ids such as AD08FR28808 (Lyon) or AD06FR... (department). Added to the locations above.

## `transaction` (type: `string`):

Properties for sale or for rent.

## `propertyTypes` (type: `array`):

## `onlyPrivateSellers` (type: `boolean`):

Skip agency listings.

## `sortBy` (type: `string`):

Result order.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):
