## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Wasalt Scraper — Saudi Real Estate (وصلت)

Scrape property listings for **sale and rent** from [Wasalt.sa](https://wasalt.sa), one of Saudi Arabia's main real-estate platforms. Get clean data on prices, **price per m²**, area, rooms, district, GPS coordinates, REGA license numbers and photos. Add an optional **AI market report** in Arabic or English, with no API key needed.

### What you get

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| `title` | دور 192.39 متر مربع ب 3 غرف |
| `price` / `currency` | 1550000 / SAR |
| `rentFrequency` | yearly (rentals) |
| `areaSqm` / `pricePerSqm` | 192.39 / 8056.55 |
| `bedrooms`, `bathrooms`, `buildingAge` | 3, –, جديد |
| `city`, `territory`, `district`, `zipCode` | الرياض, شرق الرياض, إشبيلية, 13226 |
| `latitude`, `longitude` | 24.7888, 46.7950 |
| `regaLicenseNo`, `isRegaListing`, `isVerified`, `isPawned` | 7100321654, true, false, false |
| `advertiserType` | Individual / Company |
| `images`, `imageCount` | full-size photo URLs |
| `createdAt`, `publishedAt`, `updatedAt` | ISO dates |

Personal data such as owner names and phone numbers is **not** collected.

### How to use

1. Pick a **city**, **sale or rent**, and **residential or commercial**. For finer filters (district, property type, price range), apply them on wasalt.sa and paste the search URL in **Search URLs**.
2. Set **Max listings** (0 = everything).
3. Optional: turn on **Generate market report** to get median prices, price per m² by district, the most active districts and listings priced 25%+ below the median of the **same property type in the same district** (a villa is compared with villas, land with land). Listings whose price looks like an advertiser typo are flagged with `priceLooksWrong` and left out of the statistics. Turn on **AI summary** for a written brief.

The market report is saved in the run's key-value store as `MARKET_REPORT`.

### Pricing

Pay per event:

- **$0.002 per listing** ($2 per 1,000 listings)
- **$0.05 per AI market report**, plus the AI model usage, billed at cost through Apify's OpenRouter integration

### Use cases

- Track asking prices and price per m² across Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah districts
- Find listings priced under the market for investment
- Feed property data into dashboards, valuation models or CRMs
- Monitor new listings on a schedule

### FAQ

**Is it blocked?** The Actor reads Wasalt's public search data directly (no browser), so runs are fast and cheap. If the site ever blocks a run, set the proxy to Apify Residential with country Saudi Arabia.

**Other cities?** Copy the `cityId` from any wasalt.sa search URL into **Wasalt city ID**, or simply paste the URL.
