## Google Play Apps Scraper & ASO Market Intelligence

Search Google Play without an API key, extract structured Android app data, rankings, ratings, installs, pricing and developer information, and turn public search results into explainable ASO and competitor intelligence.

### What it does

The Actor uses the public Google Play HTML surface with a cookie-free, proxy-free HTTP session. It preserves real search order and package IDs, optionally fetches each public app detail page, and calculates deterministic observed visibility, competition and ASO opportunity signals.

### Input

At least one `searchQueries` or `apps` value is needed. With no input, the safe default is `searchQueries: ["budget planner"]`. `apps` accepts package IDs or public Google Play URLs. `maxResultsPerQuery` is 1–250; country defaults to `us` and language to `en`.

### Results and integrity

App records include title, summary, description, developer, category, public rating counts, rating, install label, pricing, ads/IAP signals, content rating, update date, version when explicitly exposed, screenshots and the original URL. `search_position` is one-based encounter order. Apps are deduplicated by `app_id`, while `matched_queries` retains query coverage.

Install labels such as `100M+` are preserved in `installs_text`. `min_installs` is only the lower bound of that public range, never an exact install count. Unknown values remain null; no installs, ratings, dates, prices or developer facts are invented.

### Intelligence

`app_visibility_strength_score` (0–100) combines observed search position, rating quality, rating depth, install-band depth and update freshness. `search_competition_score` describes only the strength and maturity observed in this result set. `aso_opportunity_score` describes observed competitive openness using diversity, weaknesses and stale listings. These scores do not measure keyword search volume, demand, downloads, revenue, conversion or guaranteed ranking performance.

### Privacy, limitations and pricing

No login, Google account, user cookies, API key, browser, paid proxy, CAPTCHA service or paid external API is used. Public publisher information is retained only as app intelligence. Similar-app relationships stay null unless a stable public signal is available.

Pay-per-event is prepared but inactive: `app-result`, proposed USD 0.00030 per valid unique app (USD 0.30 per 1,000). Search summaries, warnings, duplicates, empty searches, OUTPUT and REPORT are not billable.
