## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Glassdoor Reviews Scraper

Copying employer reviews by hand is a slow loop of “load more” and copy-paste. Drop in a Glassdoor reviews page and the ratings, pros, cons, and advice land in your dataset in seconds.

👉 [Start free on Apify](https://apify.com/sign-up?fpr=cbgdsf), **no credit card required.**

### Engineering Excellence & Reliability 🚀

- **Company**: Paste a Glassdoor URL or a company name such as `Google`. A name uses the worldwide site. A country site keeps that country.
- **High-velocity collection**: Pagination is handled for you. Large companies keep going up to your **maxReviews**.
- **We bypass the antibot and the website limitation and go beyond it.** Duplicates are skipped.
- **Clean exports**: JSON, CSV, Excel, or API. One review is one flat row, with every field kept.

### ▶️ Start

1. 👉 [Create a free Apify account](https://apify.com/sign-up?fpr=cbgdsf), **no credit card required.**
2. Open this actor, paste a company name or a Glassdoor URL, and set the filters below.
3. Hit **Start** and download JSON, CSV, Excel, or pull the rows via API.

### 🛠️ How to use

Paste a company name such as `Google`, or any Glassdoor link. A name, and `glassdoor.com`, include every country. A country site keeps that country: `glassdoor.co.uk` is the United Kingdom, `glassdoor.ca` is Canada, `glassdoor.fr` is France, `glassdoor.de` is Germany. `E9079` or `EI_IE9079` in a URL is the employer, so that link is used as-is.

**🎚️ Filters & options**

- **`maxReviews`**: How many reviews to save. Default 100.
- **`sort`**: `DATE` (most recent, default), `DATE_ASC`, `RELEVANCE`, `RELEVANCE_ASC`, `RATING`, or `RATING_ASC`.
- **`starLimit`** + **`stars`**: `max` is at most, `min` is at least. Stars are 1 to 5. Default is at most 5, which includes every rating. At least 4 keeps 4 and 5 stars.
- **`lookbackDays`**: Only reviews from the last N days. Minimum 60. Leave empty for the full history.
- **`languages`**: 2-letter codes `en`, `fr`, `pt`, `es`, `it`, `nl`, `de`. Leave empty for every language.

We want you to see how this actor works before you commit. To keep things fair for everyone, the **free tier** includes these trial limits:

- **Sample data:** up to **5 items** per run.
- **Daily cap:** **5 runs** per calendar day (UTC).
- **Between runs:** at least **60 seconds** before you can start another run.
