## Pricing

from $2.49 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### What is Dcard Creator Rankings — Public Leaderboard?

Track Dcard's public creator leaderboard positions and aggregate metrics as structured data.

- Starts only from the public, logged-out `/leaderboard` page
- Optional aggregate public follower/article counts and badges
- Creator identifiers are excluded by default
- No arbitrary profile lookup, follower identities, contacts, avatars, profile text, or anonymous-author resolution

[Documentation](https://bakosbence.com/web-data-collection/dcard-creator-rankings/)

### What it returns

| Field | What it is | Example |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `rank` | Position on the leaderboard | 1 |
| `category` | Ranking category shown by Dcard | Overall |
| `followerCount` | Public follower total when enrichment is on | 12345 |
| `articleCount` | Public article total when enrichment is on | 88 |
| `badges` | Public profile badges | `["Top creator"]` |

`displayName`, `handle`, and `creatorUrl` are returned only when **Include public creator identifiers** is explicitly enabled.

### How do I export Dcard creator rankings?

1. Click **Try for free**.
2. Leave enrichment off for the quickest ranking snapshot, or enable the public creator fields you need.
3. Keep **How many ranked creators** at 5 for a cheap first run.
4. Click **Start**, then export the dataset as JSON, CSV, Excel, or another supported format.

Prepared private Tasks:

- `dcard-top-creators-snapshot` — five current leaderboard rows
- `dcard-creator-metrics` — ranks with public follower and article totals
- `dcard-category-creators` — a larger leaderboard snapshot for category analysis

### Input

```json
{
  "enrichCreators": false,
  "includeCreatorIdentifiers": false,
  "maxItems": 5
}
```

The Actor intentionally has no profile handle or URL input. Creator enrichment can run only for profiles discovered in the current public leaderboard response.

### Illustrative output

```json
{
  "rank": 1,
  "category": "Overall",
  "followerCount": null,
  "articleCount": null,
  "badges": [],
  "sourceUrl": "https://www.dcard.tw/leaderboard",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-04T12:00:00Z"
}
```

Counts remain `null` when creator enrichment is off or when Dcard does not expose them on the logged-out page.

### API

1. Copy an API token from **Settings → API & Integrations** in Apify Console.
2. Replace `YOUR_TOKEN` and start a run:

```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/bakos_bence~dcard-creator-rankings/runs?token=YOUR_TOKEN&waitForFinish=120" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"enrichCreators":true,"includeCreatorIdentifiers":false,"maxItems":5}'
```

3. Copy `defaultDatasetId` from the response and fetch the rows:

```text
https://api.apify.com/v2/datasets/DATASET_ID/items?format=json&clean=true&token=YOUR_TOKEN
```

### Integrations

A successful run's `defaultDatasetId` can be sent through Apify webhooks or read by Excel, Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, n8n, Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau, Qlik, or an API client.

For CSV-based tools, fetch:

```text
https://api.apify.com/v2/actor-tasks/TASK_ID/runs/last/dataset/items?format=csv&clean=true&status=SUCCEEDED&token=YOUR_TOKEN
```

Treat token-bearing URLs like passwords.

### Limits and privacy

- Public logged-out pages only; no account or session-cookie input.
- The run always begins at `https://www.dcard.tw/leaderboard`.
- Only leaderboard-listed creator pages can be enriched.
- It does not collect follower identities, contacts, avatars, profile text, school, department, gender, or private profile fields.
- Dcard can change its page structure. A zero-row parse fails the run instead of returning a misleading empty success.
- Apify UNBLOCKER is forced by the Actor and cannot be disabled through input.

This Actor is not affiliated with Dcard.

# Actor input Schema

## `enrichCreators` (type: `boolean`):

Fetch each leaderboard-listed public creator page for aggregate follower count, article count, and badges.

## `includeCreatorIdentifiers` (type: `boolean`):

Off by default. Enable only when you need the leaderboard's public display name, handle, and creator URL. Contacts, follower identities, profile text, avatars, school, department, and gender remain excluded.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Cap the number of leaderboard creator rows saved. Keep 5 for a cheap first run.

## `resultsLimit` (type: `integer`):

Use as an API-compatible alias for maxItems. The visible maxItems field wins when both are supplied.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Managed by the Actor; leave default. Apify UNBLOCKER is forced in code and user proxy changes are ignored.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "enrichCreators": false,
  "includeCreatorIdentifiers": false,
  "maxItems": 5,
  "resultsLimit": 5,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true,
    "apifyProxyGroups": [
      "UNBLOCKER"
    ]
  }
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `overview` (type: `string`):

Default dataset items.
