## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Shopify Store Products Scraper

Scrape **every product of any Shopify store** — title, price, sale (compare-at) price, every variant with SKU and stock availability, images, tags, vendor and product type — from the store's own public product feed. Many stores in one run, the whole catalogue or a single collection.

### Why this scraper

- **Works on any Shopify store** — just paste the domain (`allbirds.com`) or a collection URL.
- **Shopify's own public product feed** — no browser, no proxy, no login, no blocking; thousands of products in seconds.
- **Price monitoring ready** — sale prices, `onSale` flag, stock per variant and "updated within N days" to catch only changes.
- **Monitored every 3 hours** — the source endpoints are checked automatically, so a change on Shopify's side is caught and fixed fast.

### What you get

One record per product:

- store name, currency, product ID, title, URL, vendor, product type, tags
- lowest / highest price, highest compare-at price and an **on sale** flag
- in stock (any variant available), number of variants
- every variant: SKU, size/colour options, price, sale price, availability, weight
- main image and all images, plain-text description
- published, created and last updated dates (ISO 8601)

### How to use

1. Add stores: domains (`allbirds.com`) or URLs. For one collection only, paste its URL, e.g. `https://www.allbirds.com/collections/mens`.
2. Optionally keep only some keywords or product types, in-stock or on-sale products, or products updated in the last N days.
3. Run and export to JSON, CSV, Excel, or pull the data via API / integrations (Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets).

### Use cases

- **Competitor price monitoring** — schedule daily, keep only products updated in the last day, and get every price and stock change.
- **Dropshipping & product research** — find what a store sells, at what price, and what is on sale.
- **E-commerce agencies & lead generation** — catalogue size, price range and brands of prospect stores.
- **Market research & AI** — clean product data (titles, descriptions, tags) for analysis or an LLM.

### Use it with AI agents

This actor works as a tool for AI agents and LLM apps through the [Apify MCP server](https://mcp.apify.com) (Claude, Cursor, VS Code and other MCP clients) and through Apify's integrations for LangChain, LlamaIndex, Make, Zapier and n8n. Ask your agent for the data in plain words; it fills the input for you.

### Pricing

Pay per result: you are charged only for products saved to the dataset. Set **Max products per store** or **Max products in total** to cap the cost of a run.

### FAQ

**How do I know if a site runs on Shopify?** Paste it in — if it isn't Shopify, the run summary says so and you are not charged.

**How do I monitor prices of a competitor's Shopify store?** Schedule the run daily with **Updated within (days)** = 1 and connect the dataset to Google Sheets or a webhook; compare `priceMin` and `onSale` over time.

**Can I scrape only one collection?** Yes — paste the collection URL (`/collections/<name>`).

**Why are a few stores empty?** A small number of stores switch off Shopify's public product feed. The run summary lists them.

**Is it legal?** The scraper reads only the product catalogue the store publishes to every visitor. No customer or personal data is collected.

**Something broke or you need a field?** Open an issue on the Issues tab — we usually respond within a day.

# Actor input Schema

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Keep only products whose title, tags or vendor contain one of these words, e.g. `wool`, `lipstick`. Empty = all products.

## `productTypes` (type: `array`):

Keep only these product types (exact, case-insensitive), e.g. `Shoes`.

## `onlyAvailable` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only products with at least one variant available to buy.

## `onlyOnSale` (type: `boolean`):
