## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Property Listings from InfoCasas

### Quick Start

Collect current property listings from InfoCasas in Uruguay, Paraguay, or Bolivia.
Useful for regional real-estate research and property discovery.
Run with this minimal input:

```json
{"country":"uy","operation":"alquiler","location":"montevideo","maxResults":50}
```

### Input

| Name | Type | Default | What it does |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `country` | string | `uy` | Country site: `uy`, `py`, or `bo`. |
| `operation` | string | `venta` | Search for sale or rent (`alquiler`). |
| `location` | string | empty | Optional location slug. |
| `maxPages` | integer | `1` | Maximum pages, from 1 to 5. |
| `maxResults` | integer | `50` | Maximum listings, from 1 to 200. |
| `requestDelaySecs` | number | `1.0` | Delay between page requests, from 0.5 to 10 seconds. |

### Output

Each item includes `id`, `listingKey`, `url`, `name`, `price`, `currency`, `propertyType`, `areaM2`, `rooms`, `bedrooms`, `bathrooms`, `parkings`, `address`, `publisher`, `postedAt`, `images`, `imageUrl`, `operation`, `country`, `source`, and `scrapedAt`.

Example record:

```json
{"id":"123456","listingKey":"infocasas.com.uy:123456","name":"Apartamento en Montevideo","price":35000,"currency":"UYU","propertyType":"Apartamento","areaM2":65,"bedrooms":2,"bathrooms":1,"country":"UY","url":"https://www.infocasas.com.uy/..."}
```

### FAQ

**How fresh are the results?** Results are collected when the Actor runs.

**Which countries and locations are supported?** Uruguay, Paraguay, and Bolivia, with optional site location slugs.

**What are the limits?** Up to 5 pages and 200 listings per run.

**What happens if a location is invalid or a request fails?** The Actor reports an error instead of returning unscoped or incomplete results.

For help, contact Apify support and include the Actor run ID.

# Actor input Schema

## `country` (type: `string`):

InfoCasas country site to search. The country determines the domain (infocasas.com.uy/.py/.bo), the ISO country code and the local currency a bare "$" price resolves to (UYU/PYG/BOB) by construction; USD and "Gs." prices stay USD/PYG.

## `operation` (type: `string`):

Listing operation to search: sale (venta) or rental (alquiler).

## `location` (type: `string`):

Optional InfoCasas location slug to scope the search, e.g. "montevideo", "punta-del-este", "asuncion", "santa-cruz". Free text is slugified ("Punta del Este" -> "punta-del-este"). Empty searches the whole country. An unknown slug fails the run (the site would silently redirect to the unscoped search).

## `maxPages` (type: `integer`):

Search-result pages to fetch (21 postings per page).

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many listings.

## `requestDelaySecs` (type: `number`):

Minimum 0.5 seconds.
