## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Property Listings from Lamudi

### Quick Start

Collect current property listings from Lamudi Mexico or the Philippines.
Useful for cross-market property research and discovery.
Run with this minimal input:

```json
{"country":"MX","operation":"buy","propertyType":"apartments","maxResults":10}
```

### Input

| Name | Type | Default | What it does |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `country` | string | `MX` | Select Mexico (new developments only since the site's 2026 redesign) or the Philippines (sale and rent). |
| `operation` | string | `buy` | Search for sale or rent. Rent is available on the Philippines only. |
| `propertyType` | string | `apartments` | Select apartments, houses, land, offices, or commercial property. |
| `location` | string | empty | Optional city slug on the Philippines (e.g. `metro-manila`). Mexico searches nationwide — city filtering happens on the returned records' `city` field. |
| `maxPages` | integer | `1` | Maximum pages, from 1 to 10. |
| `maxResults` | integer | `50` | Maximum listings, from 1 to 200. |

### Output

Each item includes `id`, `listing_key`, `url`, `name`, `price`, `currency`, `area_m2`, `bedrooms`, `bathrooms`, `property_type`, `city`, `image_url`, `images`, `operation`, `location`, `portal`, `country`, `source`, and `collected_at`.

Example record:

```json
{"id":"12345678","listing_key":"lamudi.com.mx:12345678","name":"Departamento en venta","price":2500000,"currency":"MXN","area_m2":82,"bedrooms":2,"bathrooms":2,"property_type":"apartments","city":"Mexico City","country":"MX","url":"https://www.lamudi.com.mx/..."}
```

### FAQ

**How fresh are the results?** Results are collected at run time.

**Which markets are supported?** Lamudi Mexico (new developments for sale, nationwide) and Lamudi Philippines (sale and rentals, with city filtering).

**What are the limits?** Up to 10 pages and 200 listings per run.

**What happens when a page fails?** The Actor retries temporary failures and reports a clear error if access remains unavailable.

For help, contact Apify support and include the Actor run ID.

# Actor input Schema

## `country` (type: `string`):

Country/portal to search. MX selects Lamudi Mexico (lamudi.com.mx, MXN) — since the 2026-10 redesign it lists new developments only (no resale, no rentals). PH selects Lamudi Philippines (lamudi.com.ph, PHP) with sale and rental listings. The portal determines the domain, local currency and search-URL grammar of every record.

## `operation` (type: `string`):

Listing operation to search: buy (sale) or rent (rental). Rent is available on PH only — the redesigned MX portal lists new developments for sale only.

## `propertyType` (type: `string`):

Property type to search. Each portal maps the facet to its own URL slug (MX departamentos/casas/terrenos/oficinas/locales-comerciales, PH condominium/house/lot/office/commercial).

## `location` (type: `string`):

Optional city slug on the Philippines (e.g. metro-manila). Free text is slugified and accents fold. Leave empty on Mexico — the redesigned MX portal dropped city search paths, so every MX run searches nationwide (filter on the record's city field instead). Empty on PH searches the whole country.

## `maxPages` (type: `integer`):

Search-result pages to fetch (pagination via the ?page=N query parameter).

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many listings.

## `requestDelaySecs` (type: `number`):

Seconds between page requests. Minimum 0.5 seconds.

## `proxyUrl` (type: `string`):

Optional custom proxy URL. Either a full URL with embedded credentials, or bare host:port together with proxyUsername/proxyPassword. Leave empty to use the proxy setting below.

## `proxyUsername` (type: `string`):

Username for proxyUrl when the URL does not embed credentials.

## `proxyPassword` (type: `string`):

Password for proxyUrl when the URL does not embed credentials.

## `proxy` (type: `object`):

Optional proxy. The country defaults to the selected portal's country (MX or PH).
