## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Mexico Job Offers from OCC.com.mx

### Quick Start

Collect public job offers from occ.com.mx (OCCMundial), Mexico's leading
job board. Useful for recruitment market research, salary benchmarking
and job-market monitoring. Start with:

```json
{"queries":["programador"],"maxPages":3,"maxResults":100}
```

### Input

| Name | Type | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| `queries` | array | `[]` | Job keywords, such as `programador` or `ejecutivo de ventas`. |
| `searches` | array | `[]` | Site-relative search paths, including company boards, e.g. `/empleos/bolsa-de-trabajo-grupo-bimbo/`. |
| `maxPages` | integer | `3` | Search-result pages per search (stops earlier when a page adds no new offers). |
| `maxResults` | integer | `100` | Stop after this many offers. |
| `maxDetails` | integer | `0` | Maximum offers to enrich with additional company, salary, location and date information; `0` disables enrichment. |
| `requestDelaySecs` | number | `1.0` | Delay between page requests. |
| `proxyUrl`, `proxyUsername`, `proxyPassword` | string | empty | Optional custom proxy URL and credentials. |

Runs work with the Actor's built-in network access by default. A custom
proxy is optional when you need a specific network location.

Both `queries` and `searches` empty → the general job board.

### Output

Records include `url`, `title`, `company`, `salary` (as displayed),
`salary_min` / `salary_max` / `salary_currency` (MXN by default, USD when
marked), `location`, `published_at` (ISO date), `source`, plus `id`,
`job_key` and `scraped_at`.

```json
{"url":"https://www.occ.com.mx/empleo/oferta/38456789-desarrollador-backend-node","title":"Desarrollador Backend Node.js","company":"Grupo Bimbo","salary":"$25,000 - $35,000 Mensual","salary_min":25000,"salary_max":35000,"salary_currency":"MXN","location":"Benito Juárez, Ciudad de México","published_at":"2026-09-30","source":"occ.com.mx"}
```

Some offer URLs point to a job within a search page. Additional detail
collection is available only for offers with individual detail URLs.

### FAQ

#### How fresh is the data?

Offers are collected from occ.com.mx during each run; `published_at` comes
from the posting date displayed on the site.

#### Which searches are supported?

Free-text job keywords, site-relative search paths and company boards
(`/empleos/bolsa-de-trabajo-{company}/`), or the general board. If a
keyword's own search page is unavailable, results fall back to the
general job board.

#### What are the limits?

Up to 10 pages and 500 offers per run, plus up to 50 detail enrichments.

#### What happens when a page fails?

Temporary failures are retried. Persistent access problems produce a clear
run error.

For help, contact Apify Support and include the run URL.

### Pricing

See the Actor’s Pricing tab on Apify for current rates. Total run cost
depends on the selected limits and your Apify plan. Start with a small
`maxResults` value and check the run cost before scheduling larger
collections.

# Actor input Schema

## `queries` (type: `array`):

Job keywords to search, e.g. \['programador', 'ejecutivo de ventas']. Leave empty (with no search paths) to browse the general job board.

## `searches` (type: `array`):

Optional site-relative search paths for company boards and other listing pages, e.g. \['/empleos/bolsa-de-trabajo-grupo-bimbo/']. Site-relative paths only (not full URLs).

## `maxPages` (type: `integer`):

Search-result pages to fetch per search (the crawl stops earlier when a page adds no new offers).

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many job offers across all searches.

## `maxDetails` (type: `integer`):

Fetch up to this many offer detail pages to fill missing fields (company, salary, location, posting date), rate-limited. 0 disables enrichment.

## `requestDelaySecs` (type: `number`):

Delay between page requests (and detail enrichments).

## `proxyUrl` (type: `string`):

Optional custom proxy URL, for example http://user:pass@host:port. Leave empty to use the Actor's built-in network access.

## `proxyUsername` (type: `string`):

Username for the custom proxy, when it is not embedded in the URL.

## `proxyPassword` (type: `string`):

Password for the custom proxy, when it is not embedded in the URL.

## `debugDump` (type: `boolean`):

Save each fetched page to the run's key-value store. Leave off unless support asks for it.

## `proxy` (type: `object`):

Optional custom proxy configuration. Leave the default to use the Actor's built-in network access.
