## Pricing

from $1.20 / 1,000 replies

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## 💬 Threads Replies Scraper - Comments Under Any Post

Collect the replies under Threads posts: reply text, author, time, likes, reply counts, links and media, plus the answers under each reply if you want them. Top replies first or newest first. No login, cookies or API key. Export to JSON/CSV/Excel, run on a schedule, call via API, or connect to Make, Zapier or n8n.

### 🔎 What is the Threads Replies Scraper?

It is an Apify Actor that opens each post the way a logged-out visitor's browser does and keeps loading its replies page after page, about 90 per request.

Paste post links from threads.com or threads.net, including the short `threads.com/t/<code>` form. Each reply becomes one row that names the post it belongs to (`root_post_url`) and the post it answers (`reply_to_url`). With **Include answers to replies** on, the conversation under each reply is saved too, and `depth` tells you how far down a row sits.

Order matters on large posts. In top order Threads ranks about a thousand candidates: on a post with 2,446 replies the Actor saved 913 that way in 28 seconds. Newest-first order kept going to about 1,800 on the same post. The rest are replies Threads does not show to logged-out visitors. When top order ends early, the status message says so.

#### What data does it extract?

- **Reply:** `id`, `code`, `url`, `text`, `posted_at`, `is_edited`, `reply_to_author`
- **Engagement:** `likes`, `replies`, `reposts`, `quotes`, `shares`
- **Author:** `username`, `full_name`, `author_id`, `is_verified`
- **Content:** `mentions[]`, `links[]`, `link_title`, `quoted_post_url`, `image_urls[]`, `video_urls[]`
- **Conversation:** `root_post_url`, `reply_to_url`, `depth` (1 for a direct reply)

### ⬇️ Input

```
### 💰 How much does it cost?
You pay per saved reply, plus a tiny start fee per run.
| Apify plan | Price per 1,000 replies |
|---|---|
| Free | $1.50 |
| Starter | $1.40 |
| Scale | $1.30 |
| Business and above | $1.20 |
The 913 replies above cost $1.37 on the Free plan. Set **Maximum cost per run** in the run options and the Actor stops saving at that amount.
### 💡 Use cases
- 🗣️ **Sentiment and feedback analysis:** read what people say under a product launch, an announcement or a competitor's post.
- 🔎 **Customer research:** pull the questions and complaints that come up again and again under posts in your niche.
- 🧲 **Lead discovery:** find the accounts that ask for a service you sell.
- 🛡️ **Moderation and brand safety:** review the conversation under your own posts in one table.
### ❓ FAQ
**Do I need a Threads or Instagram account?** No. The Actor never logs in.
**How many replies can I get from one post?** Up to about 900 in top order. Newest-first order reaches more on large posts, about 1,800 of 2,446 in our test. Threads hides the rest from logged-out visitors.
**What are nested replies?** Answers to a reply. Threads shows the first ones under each reply; the Actor saves those when **Include answers to replies** is on. They count toward `maxResults`.
**Does `maxResults` count per post or per run?** Per post. Two links with `maxResults: 500` can save up to 1,000 rows.
**What happens with deleted or private posts?** They are skipped and listed in the status message and the `SUMMARY` record. The run still succeeds with the other posts.
**Can I monitor a post for new replies?** Schedule the Actor with `sort: recent` and a small `maxResults`; each run returns the newest replies first.
**What if Threads slows the Actor down?** Threads limits how many reply requests one address may send. The Actor then continues from the same page through a new residential address.
**Is it legal to scrape Threads replies?** The Actor reads only what Threads shows publicly to any visitor and does not log in. Replies contain personal data, so GDPR, CCPA and similar rules apply to how you store and use them, and Meta's terms apply to you as well. If in doubt, ask a lawyer.
**Something is missing or broken?** Open an issue on the Actor's Issues tab with the run ID. Issues are answered within one business day.
