## Pricing

from $0.91 / 1,000 keyword ideas

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## 🔎 Keyword Ideas for Google & YouTube: bulk autocomplete suggestions

This Actor turns seed keywords into bulk keyword ideas using public Google Search or YouTube autocomplete. It is built for SEO specialists, content marketers, YouTubers and researchers who need fresh keyword lists fast.

*✅ Last verified working: 2026-10-21 (automated daily test run)*

No browser and no login are needed. Give it up to 20 seeds, pick a source, and get a clean, deduplicated list.

### ✨ What you get

- Unique keyword ideas per seed, deduplicated case-insensitively
- Source label: `Google Search` or `YouTube`
- Optional expansion with a-z suffixes and question prefixes (how, what, why, best, vs)
- The modifier used to find each idea, or `none`
- Rank position within the autocomplete response
- A simple intent label: Question, Commercial or Informational (a keyword-based heuristic)
- Word count, country and language for each row

### Use with AI agents (MCP)

This Actor works with the [Apify MCP server](https://mcp.apify.com), so Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP clients can find it with the `search-actors` tool and run it with `call-actor`. To load it directly as a tool, connect to `https://mcp.apify.com?tools=benuelh/keyword-ideas-google-youtube`.

Smallest working input:

```json
{
  "seeds": [
    "coffee grinder"
  ],
  "expand": false,
  "source": "google",
  "country": "us",
  "language": "en"
}
```

Each result row has: `keyword`, `seed`, `source`, `modifier`, `position`, `intent`, `wordCount`, `country`, `language` (plus `error`, set only when an item could not be processed).

Price: $0.0013 per keyword idea. One charge per unique keyword suggestion saved to the dataset. Duplicates, failed requests, retries and empty results are never charged. Agents using Apify agentic payments can run it without an Apify account.

### 🎯 Popular uses

- Build topic clusters and content calendars
- Find question-style queries for FAQ and blog content
- Research YouTube video title ideas
- Spot commercial-intent phrases for product pages
- Compare ideas across countries and languages

### ⚙️ Input

| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `seeds` | string\[] | Required. 1-20 seed keywords. Empty entries are dropped. |
| `source` | string | `google` (default) or `youtube`. |
| `country` | string | 2-letter country code (gl), default `us`. |
| `language` | string | Language code (hl), default `en`. |
| `expand` | boolean | Also query seed + a..z and how/what/why/best/vs + seed. Default `true`. |
| `maxPerSeed` | integer | 1-500, default 200. Stops collecting for a seed at this many unique keywords. |
| `useProxy` | boolean | Route requests through Apify proxy. Default `false`. |

```json
{
  "seeds": ["coffee grinder"],
  "source": "google",
  "expand": false,
  "country": "us",
  "language": "en"
}
```

### 📦 Output

Each dataset row is one unique keyword idea.

```json
{
  "keyword": "coffee grinder electric",
  "seed": "coffee grinder",
  "source": "Google Search",
  "modifier": "none",
  "position": 1,
  "intent": "Informational",
  "wordCount": 3,
  "country": "us",
  "language": "en",
  "error": null
}
```

The `error` field is empty when a row is collected normally.

### 💰 Pricing

$0.0013 per keyword. You are charged one `keyword` event for each unique row added to the dataset. Nothing else is charged: no start fee, no charge for duplicates, failed requests or skipped expansions.

### ❓ FAQ

**Does it need a login or browser?** No. It uses plain HTTP requests to public autocomplete.

**How does expansion work?** With `expand` on, it also queries each seed followed by a letter a-z, and the prefixes how, what, why, best and vs before the seed.

**What happens if a request fails?** Rate-limit and server errors (429/5xx) are retried up to 3 times with growing delays. A failed expansion is skipped with a warning.

**When does a run fail?** Only if every seed returns zero rows.

**Is the intent label exact?** No. It is a simple keyword-based heuristic, useful for quick sorting.

**Should I use the proxy?** It is off by default. Turn on `useProxy` if you run large batches and see blocked requests.
