## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Arbetsformedlingen Scraper: Sweden Jobs

Extract job ads from [Arbetsformedlingen](https://arbetsformedlingen.se) (the Swedish Public Employment Service) through its official JobTech public API (over 40,000 active ads). No login, no browser, no API key: title, employer, official occupation codes, location, work schedule and full description, read straight from the source.

### What you can do with it

- **Search Sweden's official job board directly.** Any keyword the API's own free-text search accepts, nationwide.
- **Classify by occupation.** `occupation`/`occupationGroup`/`occupationField` are the ad's official SSYK taxonomy labels.
- **Filter by freshness.** `publishedWithinDays` keeps only ads posted in the last N days.
- **Feed a job alert or aggregator.** A stable `id` and canonical `url` per ad for deduplication across runs.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| `keyword` | Job title, skill or employer, for example `sjukskoterska`. Empty means every ad nationwide. |
| `maxItems` | The run stops once this many ads are saved (default 50). |
| `publishedWithinDays` | Only keep ads published in the last N days. Leave empty for no date filter. |

Example input:

```json
{
  "keyword": "sjukskoterska",
  "maxItems": 50
}
```

### Output

One record per ad:

```json
{
  "id": "31587666",
  "url": "https://arbetsformedlingen.se/platsbanken/annonser/31587666",
  "title": "Engagerad larare i idrott och halsa ak 1-6",
  "employer": { "name": "Kungalvs kommun", "workplace": "Kungalvs kommun, Bildning och Larande", "url": "https://www.kungalv.se/arbete/lediga-jobb/", "organizationNumber": "2120001371" },
  "occupation": "Larare i grundskolan, arskurs 1-6",
  "occupationGroup": "Grundskollarare",
  "occupationField": "Pedagogik",
  "employmentType": "Vanlig anstallning",
  "workingHoursType": "Heltid",
  "duration": "Tills vidare",
  "salaryType": "Fast manads- vecko- eller timlon",
  "salaryDescription": null,
  "numberOfVacancies": 1,
  "municipality": "Kungalv",
  "region": "Vastra Gotalands lan",
  "country": "Sverige",
  "city": "Kungalv",
  "postcode": "44230",
  "description": "Kungalvs kommun ar en plats dar vi tillsammans skapar varde...",
  "publicationDate": "2026-10-13T08:53:28",
  "lastApplicationDate": "2026-10-30T23:59:59",
  "applicationUrl": "https://kungalv.varbi.com/se/what:job/jobID:977344/type:job/where:125/apply:1"
}
```

Export the dataset as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read it through the Apify API.

### Why this one

- **Official SSYK occupation codes on every ad**, useful for occupation-level analysis without an extra lookup.
- **No browser, no proxy, no API key.** JobTech's search is a plain, documented, public JSON API.
- **Date-window filtering built in**, so a daily run only brings back what is new.

### Good to know

- Most ads do not disclose a salary; `salaryDescription` is `null` when that is the case, nothing is guessed.
- Arbetsformedlingen's own `application_contacts` field (named recruiter, direct phone number) is left out entirely, and any phone number or e-mail address found loose inside `description` is stripped. The dataset carries no personal data.
- `employer.organizationNumber` is Sweden's public company registration number, not personal data.
- This is an unofficial tool, not affiliated with Arbetsformedlingen or the JobTech team. Check the API's terms and the data protection rules that apply to your use.

### FAQ

**Does it need a browser or a proxy?**\
No. The Actor reads JobTech's own public JSON API directly.

**Does it work without `keyword`?**\
Yes. Leave it empty for a productive default run across the newest ads nationwide.

**Can I get the data in Excel or Google Sheets?**\
Yes. Export the dataset as CSV, Excel or JSON from the Apify console, or connect the Apify Google Sheets integration.
