## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Gupy Jobs Scraper · Any Company, No Login

Extract job postings from any company's public [Gupy](https://www.gupy.io) career board. Gupy is Brazil's largest applicant tracking system, used by thousands of employers (Ambev, Stone, Localiza, WEG and many more) at their own `<company>.gupy.io` subdomain. No login, no browser: title, department, location, workplace type, accessibility flag and full description (requirements, responsibilities and benefits), read straight from the page's own data.

### What you can do with it

- **Monitor any Brazilian employer's open roles.** Point it at a company's Gupy subdomain and get every current posting in one run.
- **Cover many employers at once.** List several subdomains and get a combined, deduplicated feed.
- **Track accessibility-targeted postings.** `handicapped` flags vacancies Gupy marks as open to PCD (persons with disabilities) candidates.
- **Feed a Brazilian job alert or aggregator.** Structured fields and a stable `id` per company make deduplication easy.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| `companies` | Gupy company subdomains, taken from a company's career page URL, for example `ambev` from `ambev.gupy.io`. Leave empty to run a default set of companies. |
| `keywords` | Keeps only postings whose title or department contains this text (case-insensitive). Empty means every posting. |
| `maxItems` | The run stops once this many postings are saved, across all companies combined (default 100). |
| `includeDescriptions` | Fetch each posting's own page for the full description, requirements, responsibilities and benefits. Slower (one extra request per posting). |

Example input:

```json
{
  "companies": ["ambev", "weg"],
  "keywords": "",
  "maxItems": 100,
  "includeDescriptions": true
}
```

### Output

One record per posting:

```json
{
  "id": "ambev:11851251",
  "company": "ambev",
  "title": "Ajudante de Armazém (Transportadora Piracicaba/SP)",
  "department": "Logística",
  "jobType": "vacancy_type_talent_pool",
  "location": "Piracicaba, São Paulo, Brasil",
  "workplaceType": "on-site",
  "handicapped": true,
  "publishedAt": "2026-07-28T20:30:37.719Z",
  "expiresAt": "2026-12-31",
  "url": "https://ambev.gupy.io/jobs/11851251?jobBoardSource=gupy_public_page",
  "description": "..."
}
```

Export the dataset as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read it through the Apify API.

### Why this one

- **Any company, not a curated feed.** Give it a subdomain and it works, instead of being limited to whatever companies a pre-built feed happens to include.
- **No browser, no proxy.** Every page (listing and detail) is a plain server-rendered page; this Actor reads the `__NEXT_DATA__` payload Gupy's own front-end hydrates from, no rendering needed.
- **Cheaper than the field's current options**, which run $2.99-$5.00 per 1,000 results and sometimes bundle several unrelated sites into one feed.

### Good to know

- There is no public directory of Gupy tenants: this Actor needs the subdomain(s) you want, one company per entry.
- A subdomain with no current openings answers with zero jobs, not an error; a subdomain Gupy has never hosted answers 404 and is skipped with a warning.
- Gupy rarely discloses a salary on the posting itself, so no salary field is produced.
- `jobType` and `workplaceType` are kept as Gupy's own codes (for example `vacancy_type_effective`, `on-site`), not translated.
- The dataset contains job postings only. Recruiter and candidate personal data is never exported.
- This is an unofficial tool, not affiliated with Gupy. Check the site's terms and the data protection rules that apply to your use.

### FAQ

**Does it need a browser or a proxy?**\
No. The Actor reads each page's own embedded data directly.

**How do I scrape a company not in the default list?**\
Set `companies` to that company's Gupy subdomain, the part before `.gupy.io` in its career page URL.

**Can I scrape several companies in one run?**\
Yes, list as many subdomains as you need in `companies` (up to 20).
