## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## HelloWork Jobs Scraper · No Login Needed

Scrape job postings from [HelloWork](https://www.hellowork.com), one of France's largest job boards, and get clean structured data: title, company, salary when published, remote policy, location, employment type and full description.

### What you can do with it

- **Monitor the French job market**: new postings by sector, with salary and remote-work data when the employer discloses it.
- **Feed a job alert or an aggregator**: run it daily on a sector and dedupe by `id` to catch only the new postings.
- **Find companies that are hiring**: which employers recruit for a given role right now, in which city.
- **Benchmark salaries and remote policy**: published salary ranges and `TELECOMMUTE` postings by sector.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Sector | HelloWork sector category to browse, for example `informatique` or `sante`. Empty rotates through the busiest sectors. |
| Keywords | Keep only postings whose title or occupational category mentions these words. Empty keeps every posting in the sector. |
| Maximum number of postings | The run stops once this many postings are saved. |
| Include full descriptions | Adds the full job description as plain text. |

### Output

One record per posting:

```json
{
  "id": "84117637",
  "url": "https://www.hellowork.com/fr-fr/emplois/84117637.html",
  "title": "Administrateur Systèmes et Réseaux - Client Final H/F",
  "occupation": "Informatique",
  "companyName": "Silkhom",
  "city": "Montélimar",
  "region": "Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes",
  "remote": false,
  "salaryMin": null,
  "salaryMax": null,
  "salaryCurrency": null,
  "salaryPeriod": null,
  "employmentType": "FULL_TIME",
  "industry": "Industrie Manufacturière",
  "datePosted": "2026-10-06T01:13:35Z",
  "validThrough": "2026-11-05T01:13:35Z",
  "description": "…"
}
```

Export the dataset as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read it through the Apify API.

### Why this one

- **No login, no CV upload.** Everything comes from HelloWork's public sector pages and posting pages.
- **Remote policy flagged on every record**, not just buried in the description text.
- **Keyword filter without touching HelloWork's own search**, which robots.txt does not allow a scraper to use.

### Good to know

- HelloWork's search page is off-limits to robots (its own robots.txt blocks `/fr-fr/emploi/recherche.html` and any `?` query string); this actor instead browses the sector category pages, which the site explicitly allows.
- Each sector page lists about 20 postings with no further pagination, so a very narrow sector plus a strict keyword filter can return fewer results than `maxItems`.
- Salary fields are empty when the employer does not publish a figure.
- A line that carries a recruiter's e-mail address is dropped from the description: no personal contact data is collected.

You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});
// Prepare Actor input
const input = {};
// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("bibian/hellowork-jobs-scraper").call(input);
// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
