## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Jobware Scraper · German Jobs, Company & Salary · No Login

Extract job postings from [jobware.de](https://www.jobware.de), a major German job board (over 300,000 live postings), and get clean structured data: title, company, location, employment type, remote flag, salary estimate and full description. No login, no browser, no proxy.

### What you can do with it

- **Monitor the German job market**: new postings by job title, location or both, across every occupation.
- **Feed a job alert or an aggregator**: run it daily and get the newest postings, deduplicated by their stable numeric `id`.
- **Find companies that are hiring**: which employers recruit for a given role right now, with city, region and the company's own website.
- **Screen for salary and remote work**: salary estimate and a `remote` flag come pre-parsed instead of a block of free text to re-read yourself.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Keywords | Job title or skill, for example `entwickler` or `pflege`. Leave empty to get postings across every occupation. |
| Location | City or German state (`Bundesland`), for example `Berlin` or `Bayern`. Leave empty for all of Germany. |
| Maximum number of postings | The run stops once this many postings are saved (default 50). |

Example input:

```json
{
  "keywords": "entwickler",
  "location": "Berlin",
  "maxItems": 50
}
```

### Output

One record per posting:

```json
{
  "id": "064653816",
  "url": "https://www.jobware.de/job/it-leiter-m-w-d-064653816",
  "title": "IT-Leiter (m/w/d)",
  "companyName": "Dr. Maier + Partner GmbH Executive Search",
  "companyUrl": "http://www.drmaier-partner.de",
  "city": "Heidelberg",
  "postalCode": "69120",
  "region": "Baden-Württemberg",
  "remote": true,
  "employmentType": "FULL_TIME",
  "salaryMin": 150000,
  "salaryMax": 150000,
  "salaryPeriod": "YEAR",
  "salaryCurrency": "EUR",
  "datePosted": "Fri Oct 16 10:58:45 CEST 2026",
  "validThrough": "Tue Dec 15 23:59:59 CET 2026",
  "description": "IT-LEITER (w/m/d)\nIT strategisch gestalten - industrielle Digitalisierung vorantreiben\n..."
}
```

| Field | Type | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| `id` | string | Stable numeric id, stays the same across runs. Use it to deduplicate. |
| `url` | string | Canonical posting URL on jobware.de. |
| `title` | string | Job title as published. |
| `companyName` | string | Hiring company, including recruitment agencies when the employer uses one. |
| `companyUrl` | string | Hiring company's own website, when published. |
| `city`, `postalCode`, `region` | string | Work location. Empty when the posting gives no precise place. |
| `remote` | boolean | `true` when the posting is flagged as remote-friendly (`TELECOMMUTE`). |
| `employmentType` | string | schema.org value, for example `FULL_TIME` or `PART_TIME`. |
| `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryPeriod`, `salaryCurrency` | number / string | Pay range from the posting's own structured data. Empty when the posting carries none. |
| `datePosted` | string | Publication date as published by the site. |
| `validThrough` | string | Date the posting expires, as published by the site. |
| `description` | string | Full job description as plain text. |

Export the dataset as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read it through the Apify API.

### Good to know

- **Salary is jobware's own estimate, not always the employer's figure.** jobware fills in a `baseSalary` on most postings to satisfy Google's job-schema requirements, even when the employer never disclosed a real number. Treat `salaryMin`/`salaryMax` as a market estimate, not a confirmed offer.
- Some postings omit salary or a precise city; the matching fields are then empty rather than guessed.
- No browser and no proxy needed: runs are fast and cheap.
- The dataset contains job postings only. Any line that carries a named recruiter's signature, e-mail or direct phone number is removed from the description before it is saved; the hiring company's own name, address and application e-mail are kept only when they are not tied to a named individual.

### Why this one

- **Priced under every current jobware.de scraper on the Store.** Existing jobware actors charge $3.60 to $8.75 per 1,000 results; this one is $2.00 per 1,000.
- **Salary and remote flag as structured fields**, not buried in free text: `salaryMin`/`salaryMax`/`salaryCurrency` and a `remote` boolean come pre-parsed from the posting's own schema.org data.
- **Keyword and location filters together**, so you can target a role in a specific city or region in one run instead of scraping everything and filtering yourself.
- **Pay only for what you get.** Priced per result, with no monthly rental and platform usage included.

### Pricing

Pay per result: **$2.00 per 1,000 postings**, plus $0.00005 per run start. For example, 100 postings cost about $0.20. You only pay for the postings you receive, and platform usage is included in that price.

### Run it from your code

JavaScript:

```js
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
const client = new ApifyClient({ token: process.env.APIFY_TOKEN });
const run = await client.actor('bibian/jobware-scraper').call({
  keywords: 'entwickler',
  location: 'Berlin',
  maxItems: 50,
});
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
```

Python:

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient(token="<APIFY_TOKEN>")
run = client.actor("bibian/jobware-scraper").call(run_input={
    "keywords": "entwickler",
    "location": "Berlin",
    "maxItems": 50
})
items = client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).list_items().items
```

### Frequently asked questions

**Do I need an account, cookies or a proxy for jobware.de?** No. The actor reads publicly visible pages only.

**How do I get only the new postings every day?** Save a task and schedule it daily with Apify Schedules. Deduplicate on the `id` field if you keep your own copy.

**Which formats can I export?** JSON, CSV, Excel, XML, HTML table or RSS, from the dataset page or through the API.

**Can I connect it to Make, Zapier, n8n or Google Sheets?** Yes, through Apify integrations and webhooks.

**Is it legal to scrape?** The actor collects publicly visible postings and respects the robots.txt rules of the site. How you use the data is your responsibility: check the site's terms and the laws that apply to you, for example the GDPR.

**Something does not work?** Open an issue in the Issues tab. Every public actor is test-run daily and the broken ones are repaired.

**Did this save you time?** A short review on the Store page helps other people find the actor, and tells me what to improve next.
