## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Motor.es Used Cars Scraper (Spain)

Scrape used car listings from [Motor.es](https://www.motor.es/segunda-mano/), a major Spanish car portal (over 40,000 ads), and get clean structured data: brand, model, price before and after discount, financed price, year, mileage, fuel, power and province.

### What you can do with it

- **Price used cars**: compare prices, discounts and financed prices by brand, model, year, mileage and province.
- **Spot price drops**: `priceBeforeDiscount` shows the previous price when the seller lowered it.
- **Follow new ads**: `publishedAt` tells you when each ad was last published.
- **Feed market studies**: fuel mix, power and price levels across Spain.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Listing URL | Open Motor.es used cars, pick a brand, model, province or body type, then paste the page URL, for example `https://www.motor.es/segunda-mano/renault/clio/madrid/`. Empty means all used cars. |
| Maximum number of listings | The run stops once this many listings are saved. |

### Output

One record per car:

```json
{
  "id": "23446860",
  "url": "https://www.motor.es/segunda-mano/anuncio/23446860",
  "title": "Citroen C3 Aircross Hybrid 145 ë-DCS6 MAX",
  "brand": "Citroen",
  "model": "C3 Aircross",
  "version": "Hybrid 145 ë-DCS6 MAX",
  "price": 23300,
  "priceBeforeDiscount": 25890,
  "financedPrice": 22300,
  "currency": "EUR",
  "year": 2025,
  "registrationMonth": null,
  "mileageKm": 19000,
  "fuel": "Híbrido",
  "powerHp": 145,
  "ecoLabel": null,
  "province": "Cuenca",
  "city": "Cuenca",
  "publishedAt": "2026-10-02T02:00:01.000Z",
  "imageCount": 31,
  "imageUrl": "https://images.motor.es/fotos-coches/2026/jan/23446860/..."
}
```

Export the dataset as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read it through the Apify API.

### Good to know

- Each page gives 23 cars with full data: runs are fast and cheap, no browser or proxy needed.
- `price` is the cash price; `financedPrice` is the price with the seller's financing, when offered.
- `province` and `city` are the location of the seller. Seller names and phone numbers are never exported.
- The ad pages themselves are not opened (Motor.es asks robots not to); the `url` field links to them for your own use.
- Fields such as `registrationMonth` or `ecoLabel` are empty when the seller did not provide them.
