## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Shopify Store Leads — Public Merchant Contacts (APIFY-033)

Discover Shopify storefronts from public search results or verify supplied store domains directly, then extract publicly exposed merchant contact signals.

### Buyer job

`keyword / niche → verified Shopify stores → email + phone + address + social links + contact pages`

You can also supply known `storeUrls` and skip search discovery.

A delivered, billable lead means **a storefront verified through its public Shopify catalog plus at least one public contact signal** found on the storefront or up to three same-domain contact/about/support pages. It does not mean the inbox is deliverable, the merchant consented to outreach, or the store matches a specific sales campaign.

### Input

- `queries` — keywords/niches for public Bing discovery.
- `storeUrls` — optional known public Shopify storefronts.
- `maxLeads` — 1–500 delivered leads, default 100.
- `maxSearchResultsPerQuery` — 1–20 candidates per query, default 10.
- `includeContactPages` — follow up to three public same-domain contact/about/support pages, default true.
- `proxyConfiguration` — defaults to Apify US Residential proxy for search discovery quality; it can be changed or disabled explicitly.
- `requestTimeoutSecs` — 5–60 seconds, default 30.

At least one query or direct store URL is required.

For the first run, use one known public storefront and skip broad discovery while you inspect the evidence fields:

```json
{
  "queries": [],
  "storeUrls": ["https://sundaysproject.com"],
  "maxLeads": 1,
  "includeContactPages": true
}
```

### Output

One Dataset row per verified Shopify store that exposes at least one public contact signal. Each qualified row includes `qualificationStatus`, `shopifyVerified`, `shopifyVerificationEvidence`, `contactSignalTypes`, `contactSourcePageUrls`, `retrievedAt`, and the extracted email/phone/address/social fields when present. These evidence fields let you audit why the row qualified before importing it into a CSV or CRM workflow.

### Billing

PPE event: `lead-result`.

The Actor first verifies the Shopify storefront, extracts public contact signals, pushes the lead row to Dataset, and only then charges one `lead-result`. Stores without public contact signals are skipped and not charged. Billing mismatches fail the run rather than being counted as success.

The live **Pricing** tab is authoritative for the current `lead-result` price and plan-specific terms.

### Public-data boundary

This Actor uses public Bing result pages and public Shopify storefront pages only. It does not use Shopify Admin API credentials, seller/customer accounts, private databases, login cookies, CAPTCHA solving, checkout, or purchase automation.

# Actor input Schema

## `queries` (type: `array`):

Keywords or niches used to discover public Shopify storefronts through public Bing search results.

## `storeUrls` (type: `array`):

Optional public Shopify storefront URLs to verify directly. Useful when you already have store domains.

## `maxLeads` (type: `integer`):

Maximum verified Shopify stores with at least one public contact signal to deliver.

## `maxSearchResultsPerQuery` (type: `integer`):

Maximum candidate domains parsed from each public Bing result page before Shopify verification.

## `includeContactPages` (type: `boolean`):

Follow up to three same-domain public contact/about/support pages found on the storefront to enrich contact signals.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Proxy used for public search/storefront requests. US residential is the default because search discovery quality is strongly location-dependent.

## `requestTimeoutSecs` (type: `integer`):

Timeout for each public search or storefront request.

## Actor input object example

    "useApifyProxy": true,
    "apifyProxyGroups": [
      "RESIDENTIAL"
    ],
    "apifyProxyCountry": "US"
  },
  "requestTimeoutSecs": 30
}
```
# Actor output Schema
## `leads` (type: `string`):
Default Dataset containing verified Shopify stores with public contact signals.
## `summary` (type: `string`):
Successful stores, skipped candidates, delivered lead count and actual PPE billing receipts.
You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.
## JavaScript example
```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';

// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});

// Prepare Actor input
const input = {};

// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("bin_ai_tools/shopify-store-leads").call(input);

// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((item) => {
