## Pricing

from $1.80 / 1,000 leads

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## New Business Filings: Daily LLC & Corporation Leads (CO, NY, CT, OR)

Get every business that registered with the state yesterday, in one clean table. This actor pulls new filings straight from the official open-data portals of the Colorado, New York, Connecticut and Oregon Secretaries of State, normalizes them into one schema, and tags each one with a likely industry.

**Built for:** commercial lenders and SBA loan officers, insurance agents, accountants and bookkeepers, payroll / POS / merchant-services sales, B2B suppliers, local marketers, and anyone who sells to brand-new businesses before their competitors find them.

### Why this one

- **Fresh.** Colorado, New York and Connecticut post the previous day's filings every morning. Schedule it daily and you see new businesses within ~24 hours of filing.
- **Only new since last run.** Turn on one switch and a daily schedule returns only businesses you haven't already received. You pay for each lead once.
- **Self-filed owners flag.** About half of new LLCs use a paid registered-agent service; the rest list a real person, usually the owner. `selfFiled = true` finds the owner-operators you can actually reach (CO, NY, OR).
- **Industry tag on every row** (restaurant/food, construction/trades, real estate, beauty, health, trucking, cleaning, and more), guessed from the business name, so you can pull "new restaurants in Denver" in one run.
- **Emails and NAICS codes for Connecticut**, published by the state itself.
- **Official sources only.** No logins, no proxies, no scraping of private sites. Every row links back to its state record.

### What you get (one row per business)

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| `state` | CO |
| `name` | Taco Gato, LLC |
| `entityType` | LLC (also Corporation, Nonprofit, LP, LLP, Trade name, Other) |
| `industry` | restaurant_food |
| `formationDate` | 2026-10-23 |
| `status` | Good Standing |
| `address`, `city`, `addressState`, `zip`, `county` | principal business address (county: NY) |
| `mailingAddress` | |
| `registeredAgent`, `registeredAgentAddress` | |
| `contactName` | the owner/agent name when it's a person |
| `selfFiled` | true / false / null (unknown) |

### Example inputs

New restaurants and food businesses in the Denver area, owner-filed, last 30 days:

```json
{ "states": ["CO"], "daysBack": 30, "industries": ["restaurant_food"], "zipCodes": ["802"], "selfFiledOnly": true }
```

Daily feed of every new Connecticut business with an email (schedule daily):

```json
{ "states": ["CT"], "daysBack": 2, "requireEmail": true, "onlyNewSinceLastRun": true }
```

New construction and trades companies in New York this week:

```json
{ "states": ["NY"], "daysBack": 7, "industries": ["construction_trades"], "includeForeign": false }
```

### Input options

- **States**: CO, NY, CT, OR (default all).
- **Days back** or **Date from / Date to**.
- **Name contains any of**: keywords like `pizza`, `roofing`, `dental`.
- **Industry tags**, **Entity types**, **Cities**, **ZIP codes or prefixes**.
- **Include out-of-state entities**, **Self-filed owners only**, **Only rows with an email**.
- **Only new since last run** (remembers what it returned to you for 120 days).
- **Max results** (default 1,000).

### Coverage and freshness

| State | Source | Updated | Typical volume |
|---|---|---|---|
| Colorado | Colorado Secretary of State, *Business Entities in Colorado* (data.colorado.gov, public domain) | daily | ~800 new filings per weekday |
| New York | NY Department of State, *Active Corporations* (data.ny.gov) | daily | ~1,000+ per weekday |
| Connecticut | CT Secretary of the State, *Business Registry* (data.ct.gov, public domain) | daily | ~200 per weekday, with email + NAICS |
| Oregon | Oregon Secretary of State, *New Businesses Registered Last Month* (data.oregon.gov) | monthly; covers the previous month | ~7,000 per month |

Oregon publishes one month at a time, so set Date from/to inside the last full month for Oregon results.

### Pricing

Pay per result: **$3.00 per 1,000 leads** on the free plan, lower on paid Apify plans. You only pay for rows you receive: filtered-out and already-seen businesses are free. Set a maximum cost per run in the run options and the actor stops when it's reached.

### Notes

- Industry tags come from business names, so a name like "MJTH Co., LLC" gets no tag. Use keywords for precise searches.
- `selfFiled` is a heuristic: a registered agent that looks like a person's name, not a company or agent service.
- Data is the public record as published by each state. Check the linked official record before relying on it for legal or credit decisions.
