## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### What does 2GIS Russia Places Scraper do?

2GIS Russia Places Scraper extracts structured company data from [2gis.ru](https://2gis.ru) — including descriptions, location data, and seller ratings. It supports keyword search, location filters, and controllable result limits, so you can run the same query consistently over time.

**New to Apify?** [Sign up free](https://console.apify.com/sign-up?fpr=1h3gvi) and use the included $5 monthly platform credit to test this actor.

### Key features

- **🏢 Business places:** name, category, `rating` and review count, the 2gis.ru page, and `country`, `district` and `street_address` as separate fields for every place that lists them.
- **📞 Contact details:** turn on `includeContacts` for each place's `phones` (international format), `emails`, `websites` and `social_links`.
- **💬 Customer reviews:** turn on `includeReviews` for each place's reviews as separate rows (`record_type` "review") with text, rating, author, date and the official business reply.
- **💰 Vacancies with structured salary:** set `scrapeMode` to Vacancies for the city's job listings with `salary_from`, `salary_to`, `salary_currency` and `salary_period` where the ad states a salary.
- **🏠 Real-estate ads:** set `scrapeMode` to Real estate for property ads with `price`, `price_per_meter`, `rooms`, `area` and `floor` as separate fields where the ad lists them.
- **📍 Coordinates:** `latitude` and `longitude` on each place that has a location, ready for a map, plus `distanceKm` from the centre when you search by radius.
- **🔍 Keyword search:** search 2gis.ru by keyword with the `query` input, in the place you name in `location`.
- **🧭 Radius search:** search around a point with `lat`, `lon` and `radiusKm`.
- **🔗 Paste-mode:** paste 2gis.ru URLs into `startUrls` to scrape exactly the pages you picked in the browser.
- **♻️ Incremental mode:** recurring runs emit only directory entries that are new or updated — keep your supplier-outreach lists fresh without re-fetching the full directory. Saves 80–95% on weekly syncs.
- **🔔 Notifications:** Telegram, Slack, Discord, WhatsApp Cloud API, and generic webhook out of the box. Pair with incremental for daily new-listing alerts without pipeline glue.

### What data can you extract from 2gis.ru?

Each result includes Core company fields (`query`, `requested_city`, `page`, `is_partial_match`, `match_type`, `relevance`, `max_relevance`, and `total_results`, and more) and extended fields (`detailFetched`). In standard mode, all fields are always present — unavailable data points are returned as `null`, never omitted. In compact mode, only core fields are returned.

### Input

The main inputs are a search keyword, an optional location filter, and a result limit. Additional filters and options are available in the input schema.

Key parameters:

- **`query`** — What to look for — a business category or name, in the city's own language (e.g. "кафе", "стоматология", "Пятёрочка"). Use a JSON array for several searches in one run. Required if no startUrls provided.
- **`location`** — The city to search in, as it appears in a 2gis URL — e.g. "moscow", "spb", "novosibirsk", "almaty". Use a JSON array to cover several cities in one run. Defaults to moscow.
- **`maxResults`** — Maximum total results (0 = unlimited). (default: `100`)
- **`startUrls`** — Paste raw search URLs from the target site. Each URL becomes its own search task; results are merged and deduped by listing ID across all URLs. When provided, startUrls REPLACE the query/location fields (each supported URL becomes one task; unsupported URLs are skipped, and if none is supported the run stops with an input error). (default: `[]`)
- **`scrapeMode`** — Places (default) searches businesses by Search Term(s). Vacancies returns the city's current job listings (title, salary, company, address, apply link); a Search Term narrows them by title or company. Real estate returns property ads for sale or rent. Max Results counts places, vacancies or property ads. Incremental tracking applies to places only. (default: `"places"`)
- **`realtyCategory`** — Which property ads to list when "What to Scrape" is Real estate: homes for sale, homes for rent, commercial space for sale or commercial space for rent. The City field picks the city. (default: `"sale"`)
- **`compact`** — Core fields only (for AI-agent/MCP workflows). (default: `false`)
- **`excludeEmptyFields`** — Drop null, empty-string, and empty-array fields from each record before push. Smaller payloads for AI agents and dashboards. (default: `false`)
- **`incrementalMode`** — Compare against previous run state. stateKey is optional — defaults to a value derived from your search inputs (search terms, cities, startUrls) so different searches never share state. (default: `false`)
- **`stateKey`** — Optional. Stable identifier for the tracked search universe. Leave empty to auto-generate from search inputs.
- **`skipReposts`** — When incremental, skip listings whose content matches an expired listing from a prior run (cross-run duplicate detection). (default: `false`)
- **`emitUnchanged`** — When incremental mode is on, also emit listings whose content has not changed since the last run. (default: `false`)
- ...and 30 more parameters

### Input examples

**Basic search** — Keyword-driven search scoped to a city with a tight radius.

→ Full payload per result — all standard fields populated where the source provides them.

```json
{
  "query": "кафе",
  "location": "moscow",
  "radiusKm": 25,
  "maxResults": 50
}
```

**Incremental tracking** — Only emit companies that changed since the previous run with this `stateKey`.

→ First run builds the baseline state. Subsequent runs emit only records that are new or whose tracked content changed. Set `emitUnchanged: true` to include unchanged records as well.

```json
{
  "query": "кафе",
  "maxResults": 200,
  "incrementalMode": true,
  "stateKey": "кафе-tracker"
}
```

**Compact output for AI agents** — Return only core fields for AI-agent and MCP workflows.

→ Small payload with the most important fields — ideal for piping into LLMs without token overhead.

```json
{
  "query": "кафе",
  "maxResults": 50,
  "compact": true
}
```

### Output

Each run produces a dataset of structured company records. Results can be downloaded as JSON, CSV, or Excel from the Dataset tab in Apify Console.

### Incremental fields

When incremental mode is on, each record also carries:

- `changeType` — one of `NEW`, `UPDATED`, `UNCHANGED`, `REAPPEARED`, `EXPIRED`. Default output covers `NEW` / `UPDATED` / `REAPPEARED`; set `emitUnchanged: true` or `emitExpired: true` to opt into the others.
- `isRepost`, `repostOfId`, `repostDetectedAt` — populated when a new listing matches the tracked content of a previously expired one. Set `skipReposts: true` to drop detected reposts from the output.

### How to scrape 2gis.ru

1. Go to [2GIS Russia Places Scraper](https://apify.com/blackfalcondata/2gis-ru-scraper?fpr=1h3gvi) in Apify Console.
2. Enter a search keyword and optional location filter.
3. Set `maxResults` to control how many results you need.
4. Click **Start** and wait for the run to finish.
5. Export the dataset as JSON, CSV, or Excel.

### Use cases

- Extract company data from 2gis.ru for market research and competitive analysis.
- Monitor new and changed companies on scheduled runs without processing the full dataset every time.
- Use structured location data for regional analysis, mapping, and geo-targeting.
- Feed structured data into AI agents, MCP tools, and automated pipelines using compact mode.
- Export clean, structured data to dashboards, spreadsheets, or data warehouses.
- Benchmark seller / dealer reputation using rating fields.

### How much does it cost to scrape 2gis.ru?

2GIS Russia Places Scraper uses [pay-per-event](https://docs.apify.com/platform/actors/paid-actors/pay-per-event) pricing. You pay a small fee when the run starts and then for each result that is actually produced.

- **Run start:** $0.00005 per run
- **Per result:** $0.00014 per company record

Example costs:

- 10 results: **$0.00148**
- 25 results: **$0.00364**
- 100 results: **$0.014**
- 200 results: **$0.029**
- 500 results: **$0.072**

#### Example: recurring monitoring savings

These examples compare full re-scrapes with incremental runs at different churn rates. Churn is the share of companies that are new or whose tracked content changed since the previous run. Actual churn depends on your query breadth, source activity, and polling frequency — the scenarios below are examples, not predictions.

Example setup: 250 companies per run, daily polling (30 runs/month). Costs scale linearly with the number of companies.

| Churn rate | Full re-scrape run cost | Incremental run cost | Savings vs full re-scrape | Monthly cost after baseline |
|---|---:|---:|---:|---:|
| 5% — stable niche query | $0.04 | $0.00184 | $0.03 (95%) | $0.06 |
| 15% — moderate broad query | $0.04 | $0.00545 | $0.03 (85%) | $0.16 |
| 30% — high-volume aggregator | $0.04 | $0.01 | $0.03 (70%) | $0.33 |

Full re-scrape monthly cost at the same cadence: $1.08. First month with incremental costs $0.09 / $0.19 / $0.35 for the 5% / 15% / 30% scenarios because the first run builds baseline state at full cost before incremental savings apply.

Platform usage is included in the per-result fee shown above.

### FAQ

# Actor input Schema

## `query` (type: `string`):

What to look for — a business category or name, in the city's own language (e.g. "кафе", "стоматология", "Пятёрочка"). Use a JSON array for several searches in one run. Required if no startUrls provided.

## `location` (type: `string`):

The city to search in, as it appears in a 2gis URL — e.g. "moscow", "spb", "novosibirsk", "almaty". Use a JSON array to cover several cities in one run. Defaults to moscow.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Maximum total results (0 = unlimited).

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Paste raw search URLs from the target site. Each URL becomes its own search task; results are merged and deduped by listing ID across all URLs. When provided, startUrls REPLACE the query/location fields (each supported URL becomes one task; unsupported URLs are skipped, and if none is supported the run stops with an input error).

## `scrapeMode` (type: `string`):

Places (default) searches businesses by Search Term(s). Vacancies returns the city's current job listings (title, salary, company, address, apply link); a Search Term narrows them by title or company. Real estate returns property ads for sale or rent. Max Results counts places, vacancies or property ads. Incremental tracking applies to places only.

## `realtyCategory` (type: `string`):

Which property ads to list when "What to Scrape" is Real estate: homes for sale, homes for rent, commercial space for sale or commercial space for rent. The City field picks the city.

## `compact` (type: `boolean`):

Core fields only (for AI-agent/MCP workflows).

## `excludeEmptyFields` (type: `boolean`):

Drop null, empty-string, and empty-array fields from each record before push. Smaller payloads for AI agents and dashboards.

## `incrementalMode` (type: `boolean`):

Compare against previous run state. stateKey is optional — defaults to a value derived from your search inputs (search terms, cities, startUrls) so different searches never share state.

## `stateKey` (type: `string`):

Optional. Stable identifier for the tracked search universe. Leave empty to auto-generate from search inputs.

## `skipReposts` (type: `boolean`):

When incremental, skip listings whose content matches an expired listing from a prior run (cross-run duplicate detection).

## `emitUnchanged` (type: `boolean`):

When incremental mode is on, also emit listings whose content has not changed since the last run.

## `emitExpired` (type: `boolean`):

When incremental mode is on, also emit listings that were seen before but are no longer found.

## `notifyOnlyChanges` (type: `boolean`):

When Incremental Mode is on, only send notifications for NEW and UPDATED listings. Has no effect outside incremental mode.

## `notificationLimit` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of listings included in each notification message (1–20).

## `telegramToken` (type: `string`):

Telegram bot token (from @BotFather). Required for Telegram notifications.

## `telegramChatId` (type: `string`):

Telegram chat or channel ID (e.g. "-100123456789"). Required when telegramToken is set.

## `discordWebhookUrl` (type: `string`):

Discord incoming webhook URL. Server Settings → Integrations → Webhooks → New Webhook.

## `slackWebhookUrl` (type: `string`):

Slack incoming webhook URL. api.slack.com/messaging/webhooks.

## `whatsappPhoneNumberId` (type: `string`):

Your WhatsApp Business phone-number ID (numeric, from Meta dashboard). Required when whatsappAccessToken is set.

## `whatsappAccessToken` (type: `string`):

WhatsApp Cloud API permanent access token (System User token from Meta Business). Recipient must have messaged the business number within the last 24h (service-conversation window — free since Nov 2024).

## `whatsappTo` (type: `string`):

Recipient phone in E.164 format without + (e.g. "436641234567"). Recipient must have messaged your business number within last 24h.

## `webhookUrl` (type: `string`):

Receives a JSON POST with {metadata, items} after each run. Universal escape hatch for n8n / Make / Zapier / custom backends.

## `webhookHeaders` (type: `object`):

Optional JSON object of custom headers (e.g. {"Authorization":"Bearer ..."}).

## `appConnector` (type: `string`):

Optional. Pick a connected app under Settings → API & Integrations to receive your results (including any contact details). Best-effort across MCP connectors as Apify expands its catalog.

## `mcpIssueTeam` (type: `string`):

Only when the connected app is an issue tracker: the team (name or ID) the summary issue is created under, if that app requires one.

## `descriptionFormat` (type: `string`):

Choose which representation of the listing description to include. `all` keeps every variant; the others keep only the selected one.

## `descriptionMaxLength` (type: `integer`):

Truncate the place summary to this many characters, appending '...' if truncated. 0 = no truncation. Pairs well with compact mode.

## `lat` (type: `number`):

Latitude of the search centre. Pair with lon and the radius to keep only places within that distance; every record then carries distanceKm.

## `lon` (type: `number`):

Longitude of the search centre. Pair with lat.

## `radiusKm` (type: `integer`):

Keep only places within this many kilometres of the centre (lat/lon). Needs lat and lon; leave empty for no distance filter.

## `includeContacts` (type: `boolean`):

Add each place's phone numbers (international format), e-mails, websites and social links (Telegram, VK, WhatsApp...). Costs one extra page load per place, so runs are slower. Off = those fields are empty.

## `includeReviews` (type: `boolean`):

Deliver customer reviews of each place as separate rows (text, rating, author, date, official business reply). Reviews are in addition to places and do not count toward Max Results. With a maximum cost per run, places are paid for first and reviews use the budget left over.

## `maxReviewsPerPlace` (type: `integer`):

How many reviews to deliver for each place (after the review filters below). 0 = no reviews. Only the first 2,000 reviews of a place are examined while looking for matches.

## `reviewSortBy` (type: `string`):

Which reviews come first: most recently edited, most recently written, or most helpful.

## `reviewRatings` (type: `string`):

Keep all reviews, only positive ones (4-5 stars) or only negative ones (1-2 stars).

## `reviewKeywords` (type: `array`):

Keep only reviews whose text or official reply contains at least one of these words (case-insensitive). Leave empty to keep all.

## `reviewSource` (type: `string`):

Keep reviews from all sources, only reviews written on 2GIS, or only reviews imported from Flamp.

## `reviewDateFrom` (type: `string`):

Keep reviews written on or after this day (YYYY-MM-DD).

## `reviewDateTo` (type: `string`):

Keep reviews written on or before this day (YYYY-MM-DD).

## `includeUnratedReviews` (type: `boolean`):

Also deliver reviews that have no star rating (comments only). They follow the rated reviews when there is room left under Max Reviews Per Place.

## `includeReviewerData` (type: `boolean`):

Keep each review's author name and ID. Turn off to deliver reviews without any author information.
