## Changelog

### Unreleased — 2026-10-16

#### Fixed

- A run that is about to reach its time limit no longer loses the jobs it already found. Jobs whose full description could not be fetched in time are now delivered with their search-result details (`detailsFetched: false`), and the run finishes cleanly instead of being stopped part-way. Result limits and pricing are unchanged.

### Unreleased — 2026-10-13

#### Fixed

- `extractedEmails` now picks up email addresses written in the description itself, not only clickable mail links.
- Emails followed directly by other text are no longer returned with that text glued on (e.g. name@site.co.ukread).

### 1.7 (2026-10-11)

- Reading the results page is now more robust to small changes in how jobs.ie lays out the page, so a search no longer risks coming back with 0 jobs when the page carries extra data next to the job list. Result limits and pricing are unchanged.

### 1.7 (2026-10-10)

- Sorting by date or salary now applies to every results page. Before, only the first 25 results followed the chosen order and later pages came back in relevance order.
- A run now respects the maximum cost per run you set: it collects only as many jobs as that limit pays for and finishes as succeeded, instead of being stopped part-way. Result limits and pricing are unchanged.

### 1.7 (2026-09-28)

- A search that jobs.ie answers with no listings now ends with a status message that says so, instead of a generic "Finished" line. Long multi-title queries also get a tip: jobs.ie matches the whole query as one phrase, so run one job title per search.

### 1.0 — Initial release

First public release of the Jobs.ie Scraper — a dedicated actor for scraping job listings from jobs.ie, one of Ireland's leading job boards.

#### Search & collection

- Keyword search across jobs.ie, with optional location filtering (city or region).
- Direct start URLs — paste jobs.ie search or listing URLs to scrape specific pages.
- Controllable result volume via `maxResults` (0 = unlimited), with automatic page extension so a page budget never silently caps your results.
- 29 input filters, including salary, contract type, experience level, work type, remote-only, posting age, and company.

#### Output & enrichment

- 60+ structured fields per job: title, company, location, salary (min/max/currency), apply URL, posting date, skills, labels, and company metadata.
- Full job descriptions via `includeDetails`, available in HTML, Markdown, and plain-text formats for RAG / LLM pipelines.
- Contact details (name, email, phone) and application email extracted where the listing publishes them.
- `contentHash` (SHA-256 of content-identifying fields) for change detection, plus repost detection across runs.
- Compact mode and description-length trimming for lightweight, agent-friendly payloads.

#### Incremental & delivery

- Incremental mode returns only new or changed listings across scheduled runs, backed by a named state store.
- Optional notifications to Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, and generic webhooks.
- Optional export to a connected app (Notion, Slack, Google Sheets, Linear) via MCP.
- Structured JSON output, ready to run and integrate.

#### Coverage

- Defaults to jobs.ie (Ireland). Other StepStone Group portals are available as an advanced option from the same actor.
