## Changelog

All notable changes to this Actor are documented here.

### \[0.1.3] — 2026-10-26

#### Added

- Lens links (snapchat.com/lens/…, unlock links and share links to a lens) now return the Lens itself as its own row (`recordType: "lens"`): name, lens id, icon, preview image and video, unlock link and whether it is an official Snap lens. Official Snap lenses, which have no public creator, are delivered instead of failing; a lens with a public creator also returns that creator's profile as before.
- Every profile row now carries `recordType: "profile"`.

#### Fixed

- The Overview and All fields tables (and exports using them) now show the Lens columns — lens id, creator, creator profile link, icon, official-lens flag, preview image and video, unlock link and last update — and the Overview shows each row's `recordType`, so Lens rows are no longer blank there. Profile rows carry these Lens columns as empty (null), so every row has the same columns.
- In incremental mode, a profile whose page answers "not found", turns private or cannot be read no longer replaces its earlier full record with the sparse search card, so it is not reported (and billed) as UPDATED, nor billed again as UPDATED when the page comes back. Such reads are now counted in the run's degradation report and are not billed as profile details.

### \[0.1.2] — 2026-10-25

#### Added

- New ways to pick profiles: hashtag pages (snapchat.com/tag/…, or the new "Hashtags" input) return the creators posting under that tag; Spotlight video links, Lens links and Snapchat share links return the creator behind them; bare handles (`ikea`, `@ikea`) and the new "Usernames" input work like profile URLs.
- Lenses now carry their lens id, icon, creator display name, creator username (when Snapchat shows one) and whether it is an official Snap lens.
- With "Emit expired" on, profiles that disappeared from your search are now delivered as EXPIRED rows.

#### Fixed

- Incremental runs no longer stop early on unchanged profiles: the run keeps scanning until it has delivered your maximum of new or changed profiles.
- A run where Snapchat answered none of the requested pages now fails with a clear message instead of finishing as "no results".
- A profile page that could not be read no longer shows up as a changed profile on the next incremental run.
- Each record's `input` now names the search or URL that found it, not the first one in the run.
- "Skip reposts" now works: a profile re-listed with the same name, bio and website is recognised.
- Locks are released on every exit and renewed during long runs, so a follow-up run is never blocked by a finished one.
- Changing a field that a URL-mode run ignores no longer resets your incremental history; two spellings of the same profile URL share one history.

### \[0.1.1] — 2026-10-24

#### Added

- New option "Include Spotlight Comments": adds the public viewer comments under each profile's Spotlight videos (text, reactions, author, time, reply count), with an optional top-N per video.

#### Changed

- The pre-filled search term is now "food", which returns a full page of profiles (the old "ikea" search lists only 4–6).

### \[0.1.0] — 2026-10-23

Initial release.

#### Added

- Scrape public Snapchat profiles by keyword: subscriber count, bio, category, website, address and profile images.
- Paste a profile URL (snapchat.com/@name or /add/name) or an explore search URL as a start URL.
- With details on, each profile also lists its current stories, Spotlight videos with view counts, highlights, lenses and related accounts.
- Runs stop at your maximum cost per run instead of fetching profiles that cannot be delivered.
