- Long incremental runs keep their state lock alive, so they save their progress instead of re-delivering the same complaints on the next run.
- A failed or empty incremental run releases its lock right away, so the next scheduled run is not blocked.
- A finished incremental run also releases its lock right away, so a run started shortly after it delivers results instead of stopping with none.
- Result pages that fail are retried once, and the run status says when results are partial.
