## Pricing

from $1.50 / 1,000 website with contact details

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Website Contact Details Extractor: Emails, Phones & Socials

Give it a list of company websites, get back **one clean row per company** with:

- **Emails** (from mailto links, page text, "name \[at] domain" obfuscation, Cloudflare-protected emails and schema.org data), each flagged as role-based (info@, sales@...) or personal, and same-domain or external
- **Phone numbers**, validated and formatted (international + E.164), from tel: links, schema.org and page text
- **Social profiles**: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, GitHub, Threads, Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Crunchbase, Yelp
- **Company name, legal name, address and logo** (from schema.org), page title, description, language, and the **contact form URL**
- Where each email/phone was found (`emailDetails`, `phoneDetails`)

It visits the homepage and then the most likely contact pages (contact, about, team, imprint/impressum, support, locations, in many languages), up to your page limit. It uses fast HTTP requests, no browser: in our tests 60 websites took about 2.5 minutes.

**You only pay for websites where at least one contact was found.** Dead domains, errors, blocked sites and sites with no contacts are free, no matter how many pages were checked.

### Typical uses

- Enrich a lead list (e.g. from Google Maps, directories, or a CRM export) with emails, phones and socials
- Find the right contact channel for partnerships, PR, or customer support
- Keep company records fresh (re-run monthly)

### Input example

```json
{
  "websites": ["katzsdelicatessen.com", "https://www.hetzner.com", "apify.com"],
  "maxPagesPerWebsite": 8,
  "defaultCountry": "US"
}
```

### Output example

```json
{
  "input": "katzsdelicatessen.com",
  "domain": "katzsdelicatessen.com",
  "url": "https://katzsdelicatessen.com/",
  "title": "Katz's Delicatessen - Since 1888 - NYC's oldest deli",
  "emails": ["press@katzsdelicatessen.com"],
  "phones": ["+1 212 254 2246"],
  "facebook": "https://www.facebook.com/katzsdeli",
  "instagram": "https://www.instagram.com/katzsdeli",
  "twitter": "https://twitter.com/KatzsDeli",
  "contactFormUrl": "https://katzsdelicatessen.com/contact",
  "contactsFound": true,
  "charged": true,
  "pagesVisited": ["https://katzsdelicatessen.com/", "https://katzsdelicatessen.com/contact", "https://katzsdelicatessen.com/press", "https://katzsdelicatessen.com/our-story"]
}
```

Every row also has `emailDetails`, `phoneDetails` and `socialProfiles` (all profiles per network) and one column per social network.

### Pricing (pay per event)

You pay per **website with contact details** (at least one email, phone or social profile found):

| Apify plan | Price per 1,000 websites |
|---|---|
| Free | $3.00 |
| Bronze (Starter) | $2.50 |
| Silver (Scale) | $2.00 |
| Gold (Business) | $1.50 |

The price is per website, not per page, so checking 8 pages costs the same as checking 1. Platform usage is included. Each run also has Apify's standard start fee of $0.00005 per GB of memory. Optional Apify datacenter proxy (or your own proxy URLs) is included in the price; residential proxy isn't supported. Set **Max total charge** to cap your spend; the run stops cleanly when it's reached.

### Tips

- `onlyRoleBasedEmails` keeps only generic company addresses (info@, sales@, support@...), useful for GDPR-sensitive outreach.
- `onlySameDomainEmails` drops addresses on other domains (agencies, vendors, gmail).
- Set `defaultCountry` to your leads' country so local phone formats are recognized.
- Big brands with heavy bot protection (some return HTTP 403) are not charged; enabling Apify datacenter proxy sometimes helps. Small and mid-size business websites work best.

### Limitations

- No JavaScript rendering: contacts that only appear after scripts run may be missed.
- Only what the website publishes is returned. It doesn't guess or verify email addresses.

### Responsible use

This Actor only reads public pages of the websites you provide and respects robots.txt by default. Emails of individuals are personal data in many jurisdictions (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL). You are responsible for having a lawful basis to process and contact them. Use `onlyRoleBasedEmails` if in doubt.
