## Pricing

from $0.21 / 1,000 reviews

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## App Store Reviews Scraper: All Countries

Download **iOS App Store reviews** for any app from **one, several or all ~175 App Store countries in a single run**. Each review comes with the star rating, title, full text, app version, author, date and helpful votes. A summary gives you **each country's average rating and rating count**.

- 🌍 **Multi-country in one run**: list countries, use `top` (20 biggest markets) or `all`
- ⭐ **Filter by star rating**: e.g. only 1–2★ to collect complaints and bug reports
- 📅 **Reviewed since**: only reviews after a release date, or a look-back like `7 days`
- 🔁 **Most recent or most helpful** sort orders
- 📊 **Per-country rating summary**: average rating and total rating count per storefront
- ⚡ Uses Apple's public review feeds: no login, no browser, no proxy. Fast and very cheap.

### Use cases

- **Product and QA teams:** catch bugs and complaints after each release (`ratings: 1, 2` + `reviewedSince: 7 days`, scheduled weekly).
- **Localization:** compare ratings and feedback across countries to find markets where the app underperforms.
- **Competitor research:** read what users love and hate about competing apps, worldwide.
- **AI and sentiment analysis:** clean review text with ratings and versions, ready for an LLM or BI tool.

### Example output

```json
{
  "appId": "570060128",
  "appName": "Duolingo: Language Lessons",
  "country": "us",
  "reviewId": "14746988529",
  "rating": 5,
  "title": "I love you, Duolingo",
  "text": "You give me confidence…",
  "appVersion": "7.147.0",
  "author": "The Castillo fam",
  "date": "2026-11-03T11:38:55-07:00",
  "helpfulVotes": 0,
  "totalVotes": 0
}
```

The `SUMMARY` record lists, for each app and country: app name, `countryAverageRating`, `countryRatingCount`, reviews fetched and saved.

### Good to know

- Apple's public feed exposes **up to 500 recent reviews per country per sort order** (most recent / most helpful). Run both sort orders to get more.
- Reviews with only a star rating and no text don't appear in Apple's feed. They're still counted in the per-country rating summary.
- Countries where the app isn't available are skipped automatically.

### Pricing

Pay per review saved.

# Actor input Schema

## `apps` (type: `array`):

App Store URLs (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/name/id570060128) or numeric app ids.

## `countries` (type: `array`):

Two-letter country codes (us, gb, de, pl…). Use "top" for the 20 biggest App Store markets or "all" for every storefront (~175). Empty = the country in the app URL, or us.

## `maxReviewsPerCountry` (type: `integer`):

Apple's public feed returns at most 500 reviews per country per sort order. Each saved review is billed.

## `sort` (type: `string`):

Most recent reviews, or the ones other users found most helpful.

## `ratings` (type: `array`):

For example 1 and 2 to collect only complaints. Empty = all ratings.

## `reviewedSince` (type: `string`):

Only reviews on or after this date (e.g. a release date). Works best with Sort = Most recent.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many app-country combinations to fetch at once.
