## Pricing

from $3.50 / 1,000 screenshots

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Bulk Website Screenshot & PDF: Full Page, No Cookie Banners

Capture **screenshots or PDFs of hundreds of web pages in one run**. Paste a list of URLs and get one image per page, with a public link to each file and a dataset you can export to CSV, JSON or Excel.

- 📜 **Real full-page screenshots**: the page is scrolled first, so lazy-loaded images and sections actually appear (not just the part above the fold)
- 🍪 **Cookie banners hidden**: 50+ consent platforms (OneTrust, Cookiebot, Usercentrics, Didomi, Quantcast, Sourcepoint…) are hidden with CSS. Nothing is clicked or accepted.
- 🚫 **Ads and trackers blocked**: faster loads and cleaner images
- 📱 **Desktop, laptop, tablet (iPad) or mobile (iPhone)** with real mobile user agents and retina pixel density, or any custom viewport
- 🖨️ **JPEG, PNG or PDF** (A4, Letter, Legal, A3). JPEG is the default: small files, fastest runs.
- 🎯 **Element screenshots**: capture just `#pricing` or `.hero` with a CSS selector
- 🌙 **Dark mode**, extra wait time for animations, hide your own selectors (chat widgets, sticky headers)
- 💸 **Failed URLs are free**: you only pay for screenshots that were actually saved
- 🛑 **Can't hang**: every page has a hard time limit, so a stuck page never burns your credits

### Use cases

- **Website monitoring and archiving:** schedule a daily run and keep a visual history of your own or competitors' pages.
- **SEO and marketing reports:** thumbnails of landing pages, SERP competitors or client sites.
- **QA and design review:** check pages on desktop, tablet and mobile in one go.
- **AI and LLM pipelines:** feed page images to vision models.
- **Lead lists and directories:** add a website preview image to every row.

### Input example

```json
{
  "urls": ["https://apify.com", "bbc.com/news"],
  "format": "jpeg",
  "fullPage": true,
  "device": "mobile",
  "hideCookieBanners": true
}
```

### Output

Each screenshot is saved to the run's key-value store. The dataset has one row per page:

```json
{
  "url": "https://www.bbc.com/news",
  "finalUrl": "https://www.bbc.com/news",
  "statusCode": 200,
  "title": "BBC News - Breaking news, video and the latest top stories",
  "screenshotUrl": "https://api.apify.com/v2/key-value-stores/<storeId>/records/0001-www.bbc.com-news.png",
  "key": "0001-www.bbc.com-news.png",
  "format": "png",
  "device": "desktop",
  "fullPage": true,
  "truncatedAtHeight": null,
  "pageHeight": 9840,
  "imageWidth": 1440,
  "imageHeight": 9840,
  "bytes": 3921554,
  "capturedAt": "2026-11-05T11:02:41.118Z"
}
```

Pages that could not be captured (timeouts, DNS errors, HTTP 4xx/5xx) are listed in the `FAILED` record with the reason. They are **not billed**.

### Good to know

- Very long pages are cut at **Max full-page height** (default 15,000 px) to keep files usable. Raise it up to 40,000 px if you need more.
- Some sites block data-center traffic. If a site fails, turn on **Apify Proxy** (residential works best).
- Only capture pages you're allowed to access. Screenshots of content behind a login aren't supported.

### Pricing

**$5 per 1,000 screenshots** (less on higher Apify plans), compute included. Failed pages are free. The only other charge is Apify's standard start fee of $0.00005 per GB of memory ($0.0002 per run at the default 4 GB). For comparison, a single full-page screenshot with a generic browser actor often costs several cents in compute.

# Actor input Schema

## `urls` (type: `array`):

Pages to capture. Full URLs or bare domains (example.com). Duplicates are removed.

## `format` (type: `string`):

JPEG (small files, fastest), PNG (lossless, larger) or PDF (printable, selectable text).

## `fullPage` (type: `boolean`):

Capture the whole page, not just the visible screen. The page is scrolled first so lazy-loaded images appear.

## `device` (type: `string`):

Desktop 1440×900, laptop 1366×768, tablet (iPad, 820×1180 @2x) or mobile (iPhone, 390×844 @2x, mobile user agent).

## `hideCookieBanners` (type: `boolean`):

Hides consent pop-ups of 50+ common consent platforms (OneTrust, Cookiebot, Usercentrics, Didomi, Quantcast…) with CSS. Nothing is clicked or accepted.

## `blockAds` (type: `boolean`):

Blocks common ad and tracking networks. Pages load faster and screenshots are cleaner.

## `delaySeconds` (type: `integer`):

Wait this long after the page has loaded, e.g. for animations or charts.

## `darkMode` (type: `boolean`):

Ask the site for its dark theme (prefers-color-scheme: dark).

## `selector` (type: `string`):

Optional. E.g. #pricing or .hero. Only the first matching element is captured.

## `hideSelectors` (type: `string`):

Optional. Comma- or line-separated selectors to hide, e.g. chat widgets or sticky headers.

## `viewportWidth` (type: `integer`):

Optional. Overrides the device width.

## `viewportHeight` (type: `integer`):

Optional. Overrides the device height.

## `maxHeight` (type: `integer`):

Very long pages are cut at this height to keep files usable.

## `jpegQuality` (type: `integer`):

10–100. Only used for JPEG.

## `pdfPageSize` (type: `string`):

Only used for PDF.

## `locale` (type: `string`):

E.g. en-US, de-DE, fr-FR. Some sites pick their language from this.

## `allowErrorPages` (type: `boolean`):

By default pages answering with HTTP 4xx/5xx are reported as failed (and not billed). Turn on to capture them anyway.

## `timeoutSeconds` (type: `integer`):

Give up on a page after this many seconds of loading. Each page also has a hard overall limit, so a stuck page never runs forever.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

Pages captured at the same time. Default: about 1 per 1.5 GB of memory (2 at the default 4 GB).

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Optional. Use Apify Proxy for sites that block data-center traffic or to see a page from another country.
