## Pricing

from $0.22 / 1,000 tweets

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

**Twitter X Scraper** extracts tweets from **X (Twitter)** without an X account, API key or cookies: search with every X search operator, and the timeline of any public profile, with likes, retweets, replies, quotes, bookmarks, views, photos, videos and author data. **$0.32 per 1,000 tweets, no start fee.**

### What can you scrape?

- 🔍 **Search** — the Latest, Top or Media tab for any query: keywords, `#hashtags`, `from:user`, `to:user`, `"exact phrase"`, `min_faves:100`, `since:2026-10-01`, `until:`, `lang:en`, `filter:links` and more.
- 👤 **Profiles** — a profile's tweets, newest first, pinned tweet included, with retweets marked.
- 🔔 **Monitoring mode** — schedule it and get only tweets that are new since the last run.

For social listening, brand and competitor monitoring, crypto and market sentiment, lead generation and AI training data.

### How much does it cost?

| Row | Price |
|---|---|
| **Tweet** | $0.00032 — $0.32 per 1,000 |

No start fee, no proxy or compute charge on top. Error rows are never billed. **Maximum rows per run** is a hard ceiling on the bill.

Other X scrapers in the Store charge $0.15–$0.40 per 1,000 tweets. 10,000 tweets cost $3.20.

### FAQ

#### Do I need an X account or the X API?

No. No login, no developer account, no $100+ API plan.

#### Can I get replies to a tweet?

Search `conversation_id:<tweet id>` or `to:<handle>` to collect replies as tweets.

#### How far back can I go?

Use `since:` and `until:` in the search term to target any date range X search covers.

#### Is it legal?

The Actor reads public tweets only. Handles and tweets can be personal data under the GDPR — have a lawful reason to process them.

# Actor input Schema

## `searchTerms` (type: `array`):

Anything you would type in X search, operators included: <code>openai</code>, <code>#bitcoin</code>, <code>from:nasa</code>, <code>"climate tech" min_faves:100</code>, <code>bali since:2026-10-01</code>.

## `handles` (type: `array`):

Handle or profile link: <code>nasa</code>, <code>@elonmusk</code>, <code>https://x.com/OpenAI</code>. Returns the profile's tweets, newest first, pinned tweet included.

## `searchType` (type: `string`):

Search: which tab of results.

## `maxResultsPerInput` (type: `integer`):

Cap for each search or profile: tweets per search term or profile.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many rows in the whole run — a hard ceiling on cost.

## `monitoringStoreName` (type: `string`):

Give the run a name (e.g. <code>brand-mentions</code>) and every later run with the same name returns <b>only rows it has not delivered before</b>. Empty = normal run.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "searchTerms": [
    "openai"
  ],
  "searchType": "latest",
  "maxResultsPerInput": 50,
  "maxItems": 10000
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `rows` (type: `string`):

One row per result; error rows explain inputs that could not be read.
