## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Amazon Scraper & API | EveryInfra

Search regional marketplaces for merchandise, seller leads, customer feedback, and category charts to analyze retail competition.

Use a regional domain and an item link to find a product. Bestseller ranks show relative positions, not absolute sales volumes.

### Actions

| Action | What you get | Required | Optional | Results per request | Price per request |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| `search` | Search a chosen Amazon marketplace by keyword. Get each product's ASIN, brand, price and list price, rating count, stock status and seller. Set the store with `domain`, such as amazon.co.uk, and read prices within it. `lang` alone does not change the country. | keyword | domain, lang | 10 (up to 50) | $0.0022 |
| `profile` | Look up a single Amazon product from its ASIN link for title, brand, price, rating, stock status, feature bullets, images and bestseller ranks. Here `profile` means the product page, not a buyer or seller profile, and `in_stock` is not a reserved quantity. | url | lang | 1 | $0.0008 |
| `reviews` | Collect Amazon customer reviews for one product. Each review has rating, title, date, helpful votes, variant, country and verified-purchase or Vine flags. Only the featured reviews shown on the product page are available, usually about a dozen per product. For stores outside the US, set `domain` to match the product link. There is no sort parameter. | url | domain | all the source returns | $0.0021 |
| `bestsellers` | Pull the ranked products from an Amazon Best Sellers category. Each product has rank, price, rating, review count and number of offers. Pass the category URL or short name in `keyword`. `rank` is the position on that list, not a sales figure, and no history is kept. | keyword | lang | 20 (up to 100) | $0.0032 |
| `sellers` | Find Amazon sellers tied to a product or seller page. Get business name, phone, address, rating and the linked product's ASIN, name and price. Plain search terms fall back to a product search. Results are neither a complete directory nor a business verification. | keyword | lang | 10 (up to 50) | $0.0011 |

### Input

Pick an `action` and fill the fields it uses. Example:

```json
{
  "action": "search",
  "keyword": "espresso machine"
}
```

Fields that another action needs are ignored when left empty. API users can also pass `{"action": ..., "params": {...}}`.

### Output

Each result is one dataset row. Rows keep every field the source page exposes for that action; a field the platform hides or leaves empty for a record is omitted rather than filled with a placeholder. When there is a next page, the run's `OUTPUT` record holds `next_page_token`.

- `search`: `asin`, `title`, `url`, `brand`, `price`, `list_price`, `currency`, `rating`, `rating_scale`, `rating_count`, `in_stock`, `category`, `image_url`, `description`, `is_amazon_choice`, `seller_name`, `platform`, `images`, `features`, `bestseller_ranks`
- `profile`: `asin`, `title`, `url`, `brand`, `price`, `list_price`, `currency`, `rating`, `rating_scale`, `rating_count`, `in_stock`, `category`, `image_url`, `description`, `is_amazon_choice`, `seller_name`, `platform`, `images`, `features`, `bestseller_ranks`
- `reviews`: `review_id`, `title`, `text`, `rating`, `rating_scale`, `posted_at`, `helpful_count`, `is_verified_purchase`, `is_vine`, `variant`, `country`, `url`, `author_name`, `author_id`, `author_avatar_url`, `product_asin`, `platform`, `images`
- `bestsellers`: `id`, `url`, `name`, `rank`, `price`, `rating`, `rating_scale`, `review_count`, `offer_count`, `category`, `image_url`, `platform`
- `sellers`: `id`, `url`, `name`, `business_name`, `phone`, `address`, `rating`, `rating_scale`, `review_count`, `product_asin`, `product_name`, `product_url`, `product_price`, `product_currency`, `product_brand`, `product_rating`, `platform`

#### Field notes

- `author_name`: Reviewer's public display name (reviews), taken from the reviewer's public profile; may be empty.
- `author_id`: Reviewer's public Amazon profile ID (reviews); may be empty.
- `author_avatar_url`: Avatar link from the reviewer's public profile (reviews); may be empty or a default avatar.
- `review_id`: Review ID.
- `helpful_count`: How many times the review was marked helpful.
- `is_verified_purchase`: Whether the review is from a verified purchase. Give unverified reviews less weight.
- `is_vine`: Whether the review comes from the Vine program (the platform sends the product for testing, and the review is labeled as such).
- `variant`: Product variant the review refers to.
- `product_asin`: Product ASIN.
- `features`: Bullet-point feature list from the product page (search, profile), as written; absent when there is none.
- `bestseller_ranks`: Best Sellers ranks (search, profile): each item has rank and category, one entry per category; the rank at read time, not a sales figure.
- `asin`: Amazon Standard Identification Number, the product's unique ID within a store.
- `brand`: Brand.
- `list_price`: List (strike-through) price.
- `in_stock`: Whether the product is in stock.
- `is_amazon_choice`: Whether the product carries the Amazon's Choice badge.
- `seller_name`: Seller name.

### Pricing

Pay per event, charged only when a run delivers data:

- `search`: $0.0022, one event per started block of 10 results.
- `profile`: $0.0008, one event per non-empty request, whatever the row count.
- `reviews`: $0.0021, one event per non-empty request, whatever the row count.
- `bestsellers`: $0.0032, one event per started block of 20 results.
- `sellers`: $0.0011, one event per started block of 10 results.

Empty or failed requests are never charged. There is no actor-start fee and no per-row fee. Apify platform usage may apply.

### Free trial

The first 3 accepted data requests per Apify account are free across all EveryInfra Actors combined (a lifetime total, not per Actor and not reset). Invalid input does not use a trial; an accepted request that returns no data still does. After that a paid Apify plan is required.

### Notes

- Results reflect what is publicly visible when the run happens; counts can be lower than requested.
- One run makes one request. For more pages, start another run with `page_token` where the action supports it.

### Support

Open an issue on this Actor's Issues tab with the run ID.

# Actor input Schema

## `action` (type: `string`):

What to fetch. Each action uses only the fields listed for it below; other fields are ignored when empty.

## `keyword` (type: `string`):

Used by `search` (required), `bestsellers` (required), `sellers` (required). Specifies the primary search string according to the requested Amazon action. In search, pass the product search terms. In bestsellers, pass a full Amazon bestsellers category URL or a category short name used to build the path. In sellers, pass a product or seller page URL; raw search terms generate a product search page rather than looking up a seller ID directly.

## `domain` (type: `string`):

Used by `search`, `reviews`. Specifies the Amazon country domain without a scheme or path, such as amazon.com, amazon.co.uk, or amazon.co.jp. The search action uses this value to build search URLs, while reviews uses it to select the target review store. It defaults to amazon.com, but non-US review requests should explicitly supply the domain that matches the product URL. On every store, reviews returns only the featured reviews shown on the product page, usually about a dozen per product, not the full review history.

## `lang` (type: `string`):

Used by `search`, `profile`, `bestsellers`, `sellers`. Specifies the page language for supported Amazon endpoints using valid codes such as en or ja. Use zhcn for Simplified Chinese and zhtw for Traditional Chinese instead of a generic zh code. Requests accept only the language codes listed for the action, and selecting a language alters the rendered content rather than changing the target country store.

## `url` (type: `string`):

Used by `profile` (required), `reviews` (required). Specifies an Amazon product URL, such as https://www.amazon.com/dp/<ASIN>. The reviews action extracts a 10-character uppercase alphanumeric ASIN from /dp/, /gp/product/, or /product-reviews/ paths; store homepages are not supported. For this parameter, profile fetches the product details page rather than user profile data.

## `limit` (type: `integer`):

How many results to request for list actions. Defaults and maximums per action: `search` 10 (max 50); `bestsellers` 20 (max 100); `sellers` 10 (max 50). Billing: `search` one event per started block of 10 results; `bestsellers` one event per started block of 20 results; `sellers` one event per started block of 10 results.

## `params` (type: `object`):

Optional JSON object with the same fields as above, for API and integration use. Flat fields and params must not disagree.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "action": "search",
  "keyword": "espresso machine"
}
```
