## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Instagram Posts by ID API | EveryInfra

Provide a numeric user ID to fetch posts from Instagram. Use OUTPUT.next_cursor as the next run's max_id. One page per run with requested maximum count, default 12, range 1 to 50; actual count may be lower. Numeric ID is distinct from username; no username-to-ID lookup. Media links can expire.

### Use Cases

- Fetch posts by user ID
- Continue pagination using max_id

### Input

The actor accepts flat inputs like user_id and optional count and max_id. Optional params object is supported. The action is fixed to user_posts and may be omitted.

```json
{
  "user_id": "25025320",
  "count": 12
}
```

### Parameters

- `user_id`: Numeric user ID as string, e.g. 25025320.

- `count`: Number of posts per page, default 12, range 1 to 50.

- `max_id`: Opaque pagination cursor copied unchanged from OUTPUT.next_cursor; NOT an arbitrary maximum post ID.

### Pagination

Use the next_cursor from OUTPUT as max_id for the next run with the same user_id. The count is requested page size, actual may be lower. has_more follows source plus available cursor.

### Output

The OUTPUT contains schema_version, platform, action, has_data, record_count, records, next_cursor, has_more. Copy next_cursor unchanged to next run's max_id. Records include record_id, url, text, posted_at, author_id, author_username, author_name, like_count, comment_count, view_count, video_duration, media_type, product_type, image_urls, video_urls (one image/video candidate per media item when supplied; media links can expire). Missing source fields are omitted. No result count guarantee.

Records are one per Apify dataset row. Export via Apify JSON or CSV; OUTPUT is a summary with cursor.

### Pricing

Price is US$0.008 per successful NONEMPTY page, independent of row count. Empty/failed requests result in zero result events. No actor-start or per-row event charge. A paid run requires maximum charge budget >= $0.008 before requesting data. Apify platform charges may apply. One record is stored per dataset row.

### Trial

The first 3 accepted data-request attempts per Apify account are free of result-event charges across all EveryInfra Actors combined, lifetime total with no reset. Invalid input consumes none, accepted empty or failed source attempts consume a trial. After the third trial, a paid Apify plan is required for continued use, with billing at the stated page event price.

### Limitations

Actual count can be lower than requested; media links can expire. One media candidate per media type per item; no username-to-ID lookup performed.
