## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Greenhouse, Lever & Ashby Jobs — salary, skills & only-new

Get **every open job from company career pages** hosted on **Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby** in one normalised feed.
Give it a list of companies (career-page URLs or board names) and receive each job with **title, department, all
locations, work mode (remote/hybrid/on-site), seniority, years of experience, salary range** (from the ATS or parsed
from pay-transparency text), **tech skills** and **visa-sponsorship signal**. Turn on **"Only new jobs"** and schedule
it daily to get just the roles opened since the previous run.

The data comes from the **official public job-board APIs** that these ATS provide for exactly this purpose — no
browser automation, no proxies, fast and cheap.

### Use cases

- **Job alerts** for target companies ("tell me when Stripe, Ramp or Airbnb open a backend role in London").
- **Sales & recruiting intelligence**: hiring signals by company, team and location for outbound or staffing.
- **Job boards and newsletters**: a clean, deduplicated feed of roles from hundreds of companies.
- **Market and salary research**: pay ranges published under US/EU pay-transparency rules, skills by role.

### Input

```json
{
  "companies": ["airbnb", "jobs.lever.co/palantir", "jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp", "https://boards.greenhouse.io/stripe"],
  "titleKeywords": ["engineer", "data"],
  "excludeTitleKeywords": ["intern"],
  "locations": ["London", "Remote"],
  "workModes": ["remote", "hybrid"],
  "onlyNew": true
}
```

- Career-page URLs are recognised automatically. Bare names are tried on Greenhouse, then Lever, then Ashby; set
  `ats` to skip detection.
- A company without a public board is reported in the log and in `RUN_SUMMARY`.

### Output (example)

```json
{
  "id": "ashby:34413f8d-26bf-4bbc-8ade-eb309a0e2245",
  "ats": "ashby",
  "company": "ramp",
  "title": "Security Engineer, Cloud",
  "department": "Engineering",
  "team": "Backend",
  "locations": ["New York, NY (HQ)", "Remote (Canada)", "Remote (US)", "Miami, FL"],
  "workMode": "hybrid",
  "employmentType": "FullTime",
  "seniority": null,
  "yearsExperience": 5,
  "salaryMin": 211400,
  "salaryMax": 290600,
  "salaryCurrency": "USD",
  "salaryInterval": "year",
  "salaryText": "$211.4K – $290.6K • Offers Equity",
  "salarySource": "ats",
  "skills": ["python", "aws", "gcp", "azure", "terraform"],
  "visaSponsorship": null,
  "publishedDate": "2026-04-07T17:12:35.753+00:00",
  "url": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp/34413f8d-...",
  "applyUrl": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp/34413f8d-.../application",
  "description": "…"
}
```

`seniority`, `yearsExperience`, `skills`, `visaSponsorship` and description-parsed salaries are inferred from the
text and can be `null` when the post does not state them.

### Pricing

Pay per event: you pay per job delivered. Jobs removed by your filters or already delivered ("only new" mode) are
never charged.

### Fair use

Uses only the public job-board endpoints Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby publish for career sites, about one request per
second per ATS. Job data only — no candidate data. Not affiliated with Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

Career-page URLs (boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb, jobs.lever.co/palantir, jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp) or bare board names (airbnb, ramp). Bare names are tried on Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby in turn.

## `ats` (type: `string`):

Force one ATS for bare names, or Auto-detect.

## `titleKeywords` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose title contains any of these words, e.g. engineer, designer, sales. Empty = all jobs.

## `excludeTitleKeywords` (type: `array`):

Drop jobs whose title contains any of these words, e.g. intern, senior.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs with a location containing any of these, e.g. London, Remote, Brazil, Germany.

## `maxItemsPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

Limit per company after filters.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Include the plain-text job description.

## `includeHtml` (type: `boolean`):
