## Pricing

from $2.10 / 1,000 website results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Website Contact Finder for Local-Business Leads

Give it a list of business website URLs; it returns one clean row per site with the **emails, phone numbers and social-media links the business publishes itself**. It reads the homepage plus contact / about / legal pages (up to a page limit you set), so you get the data that is actually on the "Contact us" page, not just the front page.

Useful for building local-business lead lists (restaurants, clinics, plumbers, agencies...) when you already have the websites, for example from a directory or a maps export.

### Quick start

1. Paste the websites of your local businesses (plumbers, dentists, restaurants...) in **Website URLs**.
2. Click Start. Results appear in the **Contacts per site** table.
3. Export as CSV, Excel or JSON, or call the API.

Example output row:

```json
{"url": "https://example-plumber.com", "domain": "example-plumber.com", "emails": ["info@example-plumber.com"], "phones": ["+1 555 010 0199"], "facebook": "https://facebook.com/exampleplumber", "status": "ok"}
```

Typical use cases: plumber leads from a directory export, restaurant contact lists, dentist outreach lists, agency prospecting. Cheaper than full Google Maps scrapers because you only pay for sites where a contact was found.

**Why use it:** about $2.50 per 1,000 sites with contacts, no charge for sites with nothing found, no proxy or API key to set up, and a ready-to-export table (CSV / Excel / JSON). Pair it with a Google Maps export: paste the website column, get emails, phones and socials back.

### Input

- `startUrls`: business websites to scan.
- `maxPagesPerSite` (default 4, max 10): homepage + contact-like pages.
- `maxSites` (default 100): safety cap per run.

### Output

One dataset item per site: `url`, `domain`, `emails[]`, `phones[]`, `facebook`, `instagram`, `twitter`, `linkedin` (company pages only), `youtube`, `tiktok`, `pinterest`, `pagesScanned[]`, `status` (`ok`, `no_contacts_found` or `unreachable_or_disallowed`).

### What it does not do

- It respects `robots.txt`; disallowed pages are skipped.
- It never tries to bypass captchas, logins or blocking.
- It does not collect personal profiles: personal LinkedIn (`/in/`) and Facebook profile links are ignored, only business pages are kept.
- Phone detection is heuristic (numbers in `tel:` links or next to words like "phone" / "tel"); check results before large campaigns.

### GDPR / legal reminder

The Actor targets business contact details that companies publish on their own websites. You remain responsible for how you use them: comply with GDPR, ePrivacy / anti-spam rules (e.g. CAN-SPAM) and the target sites' terms. Addresses like `firstname.lastname@` may be personal data; have a lawful basis before contacting anyone, and honour opt-out requests.

### Pricing

Pay per event: one `result` event per site where at least one contact was found. Sites that are unreachable, disallowed or contain no contacts are not billed.

### FAQ

**Does it find emails that are not on the website?** No. It only reports what the business publishes on its own pages.

**Why was my site not billed?** You are billed only when status is `ok`, meaning at least one contact was found.

**Can it scrape Google Maps?** No. Give it website URLs you already have, for example from a directory export.
