## Pricing

from $0.84 / 1,000 website scanneds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Website Contact Info Scraper

**Website Contact Info Scraper** extracts the emails, phone numbers and social media links that companies publish on their own websites. Give it a list of domains and it returns one clean record per website, ready to download as JSON, CSV or Excel, or to call through the Apify API. It is built for sales teams, recruiters and agencies who need a quick contact info list for lead generation, without copy-pasting from contact pages.

### What can this Actor do?

- Scan the home page and the most useful pages of each site (contact, about, team, legal notice, support) and collect the public email addresses and phone numbers found there.
- Detect public profile links to LinkedIn, Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, GitHub and TikTok.
- Return one structured item per website, with the list of pages scanned so you can check every result.
- Work on plain public pages only: no login, no private account, no captcha bypass. Sites that block automated visits are reported as `unreachable` and are not billed.
- Run on the Apify free plan: the monthly credits cover several hundred websites.

### How to use it

1. Click **Try for free** and open the **Input** tab.
2. Paste the websites to scan, one domain or URL per line, or keep the prefilled examples.
3. Set the maximum number of pages per website and the maximum number of websites, then click **Start**.
4. Download the results from the **Output** tab, or call the Actor from the API, Make, Zapier or n8n.

### Input

```json
{
  "startUrls": ["https://apify.com", "https://www.python.org"],
  "maxPagesPerSite": 3,
  "maxItems": 2
}
```

- `startUrls`: websites to scan.
- `maxPagesPerSite`: home page plus contact-type pages, from 1 to 10.
- `maxItems`: maximum number of websites processed in the run.

### Output

Each website is one dataset item:

```json
{
  "url": "https://apify.com",
  "domain": "apify.com",
  "status": "ok",
  "title": "Apify",
  "emails": ["hello@apify.com"],
  "phones": [],
  "socialLinks": {
    "linkedin": "https://www.linkedin.com/company/apify",
    "github": "https://github.com/apify"
  },
  "pagesScanned": ["https://apify.com", "https://apify.com/contact"]
}
```

### How much does it cost?

This Actor uses **pay per event** pricing: you pay one `result` event per website that was read, and nothing for unreachable websites. So 1,000 websites cost the price of 1,000 `result` events shown in the **Pricing** tab. Apify's free plan gives you monthly credits to try it before you pay.

### FAQ

#### Is it legal to use this Actor?

The Actor reads only information that companies publish openly on their own websites. Business contacts can still contain personal data (for example a named email address), so you must respect the GDPR: have a lawful basis for contacting people, honour opt-outs, and do not store data longer than needed. You are responsible for how you use the results.

#### Why is a website marked unreachable?

The site did not answer, or it refuses automated visits. The Actor does not try to bypass protections or captchas.

#### Does it find emails hidden behind JavaScript?

It reads the HTML served by the page. Addresses that only appear after scripts run, or that are obfuscated, may be missed.

#### What if something does not work?

Open an issue in the **Issues** tab with your input and the run link. Issues are answered as fast as possible.

#### Can I use it through the API?

Yes. Every run can be started and read through the Apify API and its Python and JavaScript clients.
