## Pricing

from $1.50 / 1,000 website scanneds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Website Contact Scraper

**Website Contact Scraper** is a fast contact scraper that turns a list of company website URLs into public e-mails, phone numbers and social profile links. Paste the website column of a Google Maps export, and get one clean, deduplicated, scored row per site, ready to download as JSON, CSV or Excel, or to use through the Apify API. It is built for lead lists: local prospecting, agencies, sales teams and freelancers who need to enrich prospects without visiting every site by hand.

### What can this contact scraper do?

- Reads the home page and the contact, about, team and legal pages of each site (you choose how many pages).
- Extracts e-mails (including `mailto:` links), phone numbers (including `tel:` links) and public social links: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube, TikTok.
- Deduplicates results, puts e-mails on the company's own domain first, and gives a **contact score** from 0 to 100 so you can sort your best leads.
- Always returns one row per site, with status `ok` or `unreachable`, so you can match results to your list.
- Reads public pages only. No login, no private accounts, no captcha bypass.

### How to use this contact scraper

1. Click **Try for free** and open the **Input** tab.
2. Add your company website URLs, or keep the prefilled example.
3. Set the maximum number of sites and pages per site, then click **Start**.
4. Download the results from the **Output** tab, or call the Actor from the API, Make, Zapier or n8n.

### Input

```json
{
  "startUrls": ["https://apify.com"],
  "maxPagesPerSite": 2,
  "maxItems": 1
}
```

### Output

Each site is one dataset item:

```json
{
  "url": "https://apify.com",
  "domain": "apify.com",
  "status": "ok",
  "emails": ["hello@apify.com"],
  "phones": [],
  "socials": {"linkedin": "https://www.linkedin.com/company/apifytech"},
  "pagesScanned": ["https://apify.com"],
  "contactScore": 60
}
```

### How much does it cost to scrape contacts?

This Actor uses **pay per event** pricing: you pay one `result` event per site scanned, and nothing more. So 1,000 results (1,000 websites) cost 1,000 `result` events at the price shown in the **Pricing** tab. Apify's free plan gives you monthly credits to test it before you pay.

### FAQ

#### Is it legal to use this contact scraper?

The Actor only reads information that companies publish on their own public websites. You are responsible for how you use it. Business contacts can still be personal data under the **GDPR**: have a lawful basis, respect opt-outs and local e-mail marketing rules (such as the ePrivacy rules and CAN-SPAM), and do not collect data you are not allowed to use.

#### Why does a site return no e-mail?

Some sites hide contacts behind forms, JavaScript or images. The Actor does not run a browser and does not bypass protections, so it only returns what is visible in the page HTML. Try raising pages per site.

#### What if something does not work?

Open an issue in the **Issues** tab with your input and the run link.

#### Can I use it through the API?

Yes. Every run can be started and read through the Apify API and its Python and JavaScript clients.
