## Pricing

Pay per event

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Google Hotels Scraper & Price Comparison

Get hotel prices from Google Hotels for any city and dates, plus **every booking site's price for each hotel** (the hotel's own website, Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, Hotels.com, Trip.com and more). No browser, no login, no API key. Results come back in seconds and you pay only for hotels delivered.

### What you get

For every hotel in a search:

- Name, star class, guest rating, review count, rating distribution (1–5 stars)
- Price per night and **total price for your dates, with taxes and fees broken out**
- Check-in/out dates, nights, guests and currency the price applies to
- Amenities, description, coordinates, check-in/out times, website
- What guests praise or complain about (service, location, cleanliness, ...)
- Nearby places with walking/driving/transit times (airports, attractions, restaurants)
- Photos, Google Hotels link, Google Maps link, place ID

Turn on **Include every booking site's price** and each hotel also gets:

- The full price list: every booking site, its nightly price with and without taxes, and a direct booking link
- The cheapest site and price
- **Rate parity check**: the hotel's own website price vs. the cheapest booking site, and by how much the official site is undercut
- The full amenity list (60+ items for most hotels) with notes like "free" or "extra charge"

### Who uses it

- **Hotel revenue managers**: check rate parity every day. See which booking sites undercut your direct price, and by how much.
- **Price monitoring and travel startups**: track prices for a city or a list of hotels on a schedule and build price history.
- **Market research**: compare prices, ratings and amenities across neighborhoods, star classes and dates.
- **Travel content and deal sites**: find the cheapest well-rated hotels for any destination and date.

### How to use it

1. Add one or more **locations** (e.g. `Austin, TX`, `Lisbon`, `Shinjuku, Tokyo`), and/or paste **Google Hotels links** for specific hotels you want to track.
2. Set dates. Either pick fixed check-in/check-out dates, or use **Check-in days from today** + **Nights** so scheduled runs always look at a rolling date (e.g. "30 days from today, 2 nights").
3. Set guests and currency, then run.

To monitor prices, **schedule** the Actor (daily or hourly) in Apify Console and connect the dataset to Google Sheets, a webhook, Slack, Zapier, Make or your own database.

    ]
}

You can download results as JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML, or fetch them through the Apify API.

### Pricing

Pay per result. You are charged for each hotel delivered, plus a separate charge for each hotel's full booking-site price list when **Include every booking site's price** is on. Failed searches and hotels that could not be loaded are never charged, and the price-list fee is skipped for hotels with no booking-site prices for your dates. Set a maximum cost per run in Apify Console and the Actor stops cleanly when it is reached.

### Tips

- **Prices depend on guests and dates**. The output always states the dates, guests and currency each price applies to.
- **Children**: many booking sites don't quote prices for stays with children, so fewer offers appear when you add children's ages. That matches what Google shows.
- **Country** changes which booking sites Google shows (e.g. `gb`, `de`, `in`), and **currency** converts every price.
- Each location returns hotels and vacation rentals. Use the `type` field (`hotel` / `vacation_rental`) to filter.
- If a location isn't recognized, the run tells you instead of returning results for the wrong place. Adding the region or country (e.g. `Springfield, IL`) usually fixes it.

### FAQ

**Is it legal to scrape Google Hotels?** The Actor only collects publicly available prices and hotel information, the same data anyone sees on Google Hotels without logging in. It doesn't collect personal data. You're responsible for how you use the data. If unsure, check with a lawyer.

**How fresh are prices?** Every run fetches live prices from Google at that moment.

**Can I track the same hotels every day?** Yes. Paste their Google Hotels links into **Specific hotels**, set **Check-in days from today**, and schedule the Actor.

**Something broke or a field is missing?** Open an issue on the Issues tab.

# Actor input Schema

## `checkOut` (type: `string`):

Fixed check-out date. Leave empty to use "Nights".

## `checkInDaysFromToday` (type: `integer`):

Used when no check-in date is set. Keeps scheduled runs pointed at a rolling date (e.g. always 30 days out).
