## Pricing

from $0.50 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## 🏪 الدكان Dukan Electronics Scraper — Saudi Arabia

**Dukan (الدكان)** is a Saudi Arabian online electronics store selling smart TVs, smartphones, home and small appliances, coffee machines and personal care products across the Kingdom, with Tamara installment payments. This scraper extracts structured product data from dukan.me — current prices, discounts, stock availability, brands, categories and images — in English or Arabic, so you can track the Saudi electronics market without manual work.

### Why use this scraper?

- 💰 **Price monitoring** — track SAR prices and discounts on TVs, phones and appliances over time
- 🏷️ **Competitor benchmarking** — compare Dukan against other KSA electronics retailers
- 📉 **Promotion tracking** — capture regular price, sale price, discount percentage and promo end dates
- 📦 **Stock tracking** — know which products are available or out of stock
- 🛒 **Catalog building** — feed marketplaces, comparison sites and price-alert apps with SKUs, brands and images
- 🌍 **Bilingual data** — get English or Arabic titles and descriptions by choosing `/en/` or `/ar/` URLs
- 📊 **Market research** — analyze assortment, brands and pricing across categories

### ❓ FAQ

**Which URLs can I use?**
Category pages, the offers page (`/en/offers`), search result pages (`/en/search?q=...`) and individual product pages. The store home page is not supported.

**Can I get Arabic data?**
Yes. Use `https://dukan.me/ar/...` URLs and titles and descriptions come back in Arabic.

**How does `maxItems` work?**
It is applied per start URL for category and search pages. If a category has fewer products than `maxItems`, you get all of them. Product pages always return one item.

**What do product page URLs return?**
One record per product page. Brand, category and rating are not exposed on product pages, so those fields are `null` there; category pages and search results include category.

**Can I sort results?**
Yes. Add `?sort=priceFromLowToTop`, `priceFromTopToLow`, `bestSell` or `topRated` to a category or search URL.

**How fresh is the data?**
Every run reads the live store, so prices and stock are current at the time of the run.

**Do I need a proxy?**
No. The scraper works without a proxy by default.
